The food was delicious and the service was so friendly and welcoming! I'm eager to visit again!
Excellent breakfast place, a must try for anyone visiting London and looking for a quick morning bite.
I've been to different locations of The Breakfast Club and two things are certain: you'll have to wait but it's definitely worth it. As a pancake lover, I can't get enough of their salty bacon, egg and maple syrup pancakes or their sweet berry pancakes. Insider tip, if you can't eat the full pancake dish you can order kid's version (half the price, half the quantity). Not for every wallet.
A go to breakfast joint. The food is freshly made and served at reasonable prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff not to mention the prompt and punctual service too.
Amazing! If you ever go to London, you have to stop here. Highly recommend the fried chicken pancake, never ate anything like it! It was delicious! A large menu with huge variety. You have to wait a while in line, but you can get to the place, make a reservation, and then they'll send you a message when your time comes.
We attended the Halloween Saturday pubcrawl and the whole thing was unorganised and low quality. The group wasn't introduced to eachother, so basicly we only hung out with our own group and not the others. A pubcrawl should get people together, but that did not happen at the event.
The hosts werent funny at all they were dressed very provocative and acted as well. The discounts on the drinks were terrible and in some places they provide only Vodka then if you dont like it would be expensive for you...
There also was a photographer with us all night taking pictures, but few days later i didnt find even one picture of us posted like we werent there.
I do not recommand this to anyone who is looking for fun and looking to make new friends...becouse this is not worth it.
I regret that i paid for it.
Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Great atmosphere. Good background music. Service efficient and fairly quick even at busy times. Food to cater to everyone's taste. Well trained and attentive staff. Quite impressed with the food, ambience and service. Highly recommended!
The breakfast club is one of my favorite places in the city for Breakfast! Every item on the menu is really good, but my personal favorite is the all American breakfast. The pancakes are also a must try!
Great place for breakfast, The breakfast burrito's and waffles were exceptionally good.
Will be recommending to friends and family...
I tried there pancake and coffee. Both were amazing, don't have anything to complain. Definitely worth visiting.
The Breakfast Club is one of my favorite places for breakfast. Their pancakes and waffles are very delicious. Philly cheese burger is yummy as well.
couples molecular gastronomy with classic New Orleans fare. You’ve certainly had scallops before, but were they ever smoked in a cigar box? At Square Root, where the multicourse tasting menu is ever-changing and always kept a secret, every dish has a story and an element of surpri

Trendy, hip cafe and diner with an amazing selection of breakfast foods. Thoroughly enjoyed the salted caramel shake, the full monty and the breakfast burrito!
As all breakfast clubs in town, this is no exception, the queue is big! However the food is amazing and the staff is lovely, my favourite veggie breakfast for sure! The coffee is also great, as everything is good hence the queues.
Nice place to have a good coffee and food, there are many veggie options as well. The prices are not low but the staff is very friendly, we felt like at home.

My sister & I waited for almost 50 mins to get a table at The Breakfast Club. Ah, the wait was totally worth it. We explained our dietary restrictions (Jain diet) & got great food in return.
1) Salted Caramel Banoffee Pancakes:
The most gorgeous stack of pancakes you’ll ever see. I cannot describe the sheer delight we felt while digging right into this! We were told that their normal pancake mix is usually pre-made with eggs. But luckily, they also kept a vegan pancake mix. So we asked for the vegan pancakes - but with all the toppings of the banoffee pancakes. Our pancakes came loaded with bananas, salted caramel & chocolate sauce with vanilla cream on the side. It totally tasted like HEAVEN. Never seen or had such fluffy toothsome pancakes.
2) Avocado on Rye:
Mashed avocado on toasted rye bread, along with finely sliced red chillies, basil, lemon & pumpkin seeds. Pretty wholesome, fresh & so satisfying. There is just something really comforting about this buttery fruit, when smeared thickly on squares of hot toast. I really enjoyed this classic avocado toast by The Breakfast Club.
3) Morning Glory Smoothie:
A yummy blend of passion fruit, papaya, mango, apple & pineapple. (We asked them not to add turmeric & cashew nuts which is usually a part of this drink as well) The smoothie was so refreshing & so delicious!
In a nutshell: Avocado toast coupled with the salted caramel banoffee pancakes & washed down with their morning glory smoothie, made a lovely brunch meal. Couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday morning feast!
The experience i had in "The Breakfast Club" was like no other. My friends and i really enjoyed both the food and as well as the service. You have some quick, respectful, and amazing waiters and waitresses. We didn't even have to shout or do any gestures to steal their attention, they were always aware of the customer's situation. I really enjoyed every single detail of this restaurant and i proudly confirm that i would definitely repeat this experience. It was bloody fantastic!
This was a lovely experience. I went in the late afternoon and there was a small queue outside, but I was seated within 15 minutes. I ordered a full English breakfast off the brunch menu and a mug of breakfast tea with egg Benedict and coffee. For such a busy establishment, the servers were friendly and helpful. The food was cooked perfectly. I tasted my first ever slice of black pudding and was converted instantly. The decor is rustic and cosy. The walls are covered with messages and mementos from previous customers from all around the world. The price was extremely reasonable considering the quality and service, and the fact that the place is in Soho. I'd love to come again and try the pancakes. #soho #london #breakfast #UK #memories
this is the best place to have the FULL BREAKFAST EVER. the eggs, beans, hash browns, veggie sausage, and the buttered bread are sooooo amazing they are perfectly cooked i felt like home as they are made with comfort.
Moreover, the pancakes are very well made with Love as they really discribe the name PANCAKES. 😍😍. SOOOOO SOFT AND VERY FLUFFY AND PERFECTLY COOKED.
The question everyone wants to know the answer to, is it worth the queue?
Yes. Hands down.
If you want American diner style breakfast, then grab some good company and join the queue. I’ve come after lunch and managed to get straight in, or perhaps try one of their less busy/larger outfits. You can’t go past the pancakes if you love a sweet breakfast, the mountain of whipped cream you get with berries and maple syrup 🤤 last time we also added a caramel corn milk shake. Dayuuuum. Plenty of savoury breakfast and lunch options available. But go add it to your list of places to eat in London.
The breakfast club is one of the restaurant for which I would like to wait outside . because it worth it .so long queue here but it's ok.i ordered pancakes ,eggs portiage and I loved it.ambiance is good and the staff service is perfect...
Yep, the place to have breakfast! Altought it's quite crowded it definitely worths the visit, specially when you have some friends visiting. Loved the Porridge!
Had to visit the place as was recommend by a lot of people . You will many a times wait for 15-25 minutes to get a table. Avocado on tost the best on the menu. Other recommendation is the Argy- Bhaji and salted caramel pancake. Truly lives up to the expectations.
Okay, so I had a lot of high hopes from this food chain. Not sure if I was really satisfied or really neutral about the whole experience. Anyway, I ordered a Chocolate shake which was decent but why was the straw so STIFF? It almost made it look like it was of a really low quality. The Halloumi wrap was very good but there were FLIES all around our table which is not the most healthy environment to eat in as far as I can tell. Overall, it was a moderately satisfying lunch and the lady who waited our table was probably the sweetest person I’ll ever have the pleasure of giving my order to!
It’s worth the wait even if there’s is a queue. I had the Huevos Al Benny and it was fantastic. The chorizo on it was some of the best I’ve tasted in years. I hope I get to dine here again before leaving London.
A great place for yummy brunch! But if you choose this place for Sunday you will be exhausted standing one hour to get into the restaurant. Looooong queue and no reservations!! But the Pancakes were simply amazing and the drinks are great. The ambiance is okay considering the fact you can actually hear the conversation of your neighbor and so can they! The service was quite good. I must say the waiter forgot to get my drink and later when asked for it he apologized profusely since it wasn't available, and hence I got another one on the house!! I mean that is exactly how you should impress your customers!! Loved it and would recommend it.
The breakfast was not that good. Not too much varieties. Better to eat BF somewhere else. The service is excellent. We use this restaurant for really on Service. I asked twice for not including tomatoes to bacon sandwich but they did twice. They said will change it, but actually only tomato’s has been removed and return the same bacon sandwich.
Tried breakfast at the Breakfast Club in Soho! There is a long queue so don't expect to be seated straight away when you arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait! 5 STARS! Went there with my brother when he was visiting me in London, and we tried the Pancakes & Berries, Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Benedict, Fresh Fruit Salad and the Porridge! All was excellent! Recommend!
Not too special. but a great place for your morning coffee and pancakes. Taste is good, vibe is nice :) service was fast and staff was friendly :)
We ordered the full Monty and Reggie the veggie and both were exceptional and filling!! The options for liquids are great as well, we ordered some variant of banana shake and it was really good
There was a long queue but it was worth the wait.
We had our complete breakfast with Juice and everything was amazing. Lot's of People waiting but afterwards we understood why.
Amazing experience
Pancakes were fluffy and really filling. Wish they had options for sausages that are not pork. My suggestion would be making the menu a little more halal friendly.
This place is my all time favourite!! Every time I've been there I've known I'd have to wait for at least an hour before we get a table there. But you know what? When you see those pancakes! It's all worth it!!! Every dish on their menu is a must have! From eggs benedict to an English breakfast to posh sausage sandwich! It's all amazing! MUST GO !
Waited over an hour but it was well worth it! Breakfast was delicious! Atmosphere is kitchy and fun! It was a perfect start to our London experience!!!
One of my favourite burger place at soho... You have to try all American Burgers here. The place has a lovely vibe. And servers are very friendly. Hope to visit soon
Nice place for English breakfast. Usually there is long waiting queue on weekends, however every bit of wait is worth when you order pan cakes. Service is great and staff is courteous. Food here will not make big hole in your pocket too. Overall good place.
It was a must go during my stay in London and I'm so glad I went there! Had to wait around 30min to get in but I do not regret it. The pile of pancakes with tons of red fruits, maple syrup and vanilla cream were definitely worth the wait! They were so delicious! Very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere!
This is my second visit to The Breakfast club soho, have to wait in que for 40 mins but the pancake worth the waiting , we'll be back again for sure 😍
Had breakfast for dinner. Righteous poached eggs on the All American veggie breakfast. You can substitute a savory waffle for pancakes. The slow boy drink was nice as was the minty lemon ice tea. Potatoes were crispy and savory. Service was prompt and proper. Good show. If we lived here we would become regulars.
What an experience! Amazing start to my day with some burger and bacon along with a salted caramel shake. Berry pancakes are a great try too. Small and cozy place with a little bit of waiting.
Can I give a Ten star rating? This meal is very delicious, yummy and breathe taking. I wouldn't mind to eat this food over and over. I'm coming with my entire family next time.
If you're craving a proper American Breakfast while you're in L-town; this is the most perfect place to be at! Make sure you're willing to stand up for a long queue (especially on weekends!); but honestly? It's worth the wait 😍 DO NOT miss the pancakes!!!!!
A refeição mais memorável que fizemos em Londres. As incríveis panquecas com chantilly e frutos vermelhos do The Breakfast Club. Que delicia! Comia este prato vezes sem conta, se pudesse (só punha menos chantilly, fica um nadinha enjoativo). Se vão a Londres não deixem passar este spot - é definitivamente um must-go. O único ponto menos positivo é o preço. @
Great place of you're missing your large American breakfast in London. Fabulous food. Great quality. Large servings. Good energy. Hearty breakfasts!
Wow - what a great little find! Visiting London from Australia and had an excellent breakfast here today. We arrived at 8am sharp to avoid the famous queue and were seated very promptly. Service was excellent, and coffees perfect. I had the heuvos racheroz for my neal, and my husband had the American breakfast. Both were sensational!!! We will be recommending to all friends visiting the area.
I had an all American breakfast. I was served pancakes, potatoes, eggs, sausages, bacon and maple syrup.
The food was great and I liked how I could just sit and work there on my laptop and still eat breakfast at whichever time of the day I wanted.
Memorable place filled with old-school motifs. The pancake dishes are to-die-for and the breakfast platters are great for even the most hard-to-impress palettes. There's plenty on offer and the staff are so lively and helpful!
I loved the pancakes ❤️❤️❤️
Fried eggs 👍🏼
Avocado toast👍🏼
Coffee👍🏼
the seating capacity is too small we waited for one hour to get a table:(
You go for a breakfast, and there you have it! My favorite meal of the day. This place and its food and ambiance accomplishes the expectations, coffee was quite good, the eggs Benedict were exactly the way they should be, the holandaise sauce was perfect. Some of the best pancakes I've tried so far.
Always crowed, expect to wait in line for a while no matter a weekend or weekday.
The service was efficient even for such a big group as ours (9 pax).
Will go back when visiting London.
Ordered the Reggie the veggie with poached eggs and they were okay but the highlight was the pancakes with berries !!! They were sooooooooooo good!
We have waited for 50 minutes for a seat on Sunday mid. There was a loooong queue and it's been really boring to wait but hey! I wouldn't decide to leave it bcs the pancakes and burritos are just legendary.
The queue was so long so we had to wait for a long while however we entered earlier since many decided to leave the queue.
I'm heard so much about this place honestly it was just alright don't know what's the fuss about but anyways we had brunch and it was good I wood probably not go back to it or maybe I would
Vanilla milkshake is truly yummy!
Worth a try though
I had the BEST pancakes in my life!! It's so fluffy topped with cream and berries, a must try 👌🏻 highly recommended. Unfortunately I didn't try any other dishes at the cafe, but definitely I'll pay it a visit on my next trip to London 💖
Amazing place, characteristic and truly great flavor combinations. All what you need in the morning you find in this place. Something you shouldn't miss once you are in London.
Attempt early as all the time is a queue and waiting lists to enter the place. Average 1 hour... But the reason is there for.
I’d heard so much about this place that I just had to go visit. Despite the long wait, we still had a really good time and a not-so-bad meal. We ordered the Veggie All American, Eggs Benedict with home style fried potatoes and Pancakes with Bacon. Since I’m a veggie I went for the veggie all American and it wasn’t so bad. It was a nice mix of sweet and savoury. The sweet came from the pancakes and syrup whilst the savoury was the eggs, veg sausages, mushroom and potatoes. When the plate first came out, I was a bit disappointed with the way it looked- the pancakes were not round and fluffy and my sausage looked really unappetising. But as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover because it tasted good. The most annoying this was, the woman next to me had the roundest and fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever seen!! Hopefully, the next time I go The Breakfast Club will provide me with round fluffy pancakes.
By far the best pancakes in London. My friends and I try to go once a month, and if you've had any of their signature breakfast/brunch items, you'll know why.
Get ready to stand in long queues though.
First of all, THE BREAKFAST CLUB IS NOT OVERRATED.
That was by far the BEST breakfast that I have ever had in my entire life. The pancakes are to die for!
I believe that it would be so unfair if you died without trying out the breakfast club's pancakes!!
Amazing please! Love it!!
OMG! We reached here at 10:30ish after a morning appointment on a weekday. There was a queue when we arrived and an even longer queue when we left around 11:30. But the food is so good and the quantities humongous, that its no wonder that people make a beeline for this place.
The coffee is amazing! Had a cup each when we sat down and asked for a takeaway each when we were leaving.
I ordered the chorizo hash - to try something different and it was yummy. Didn't realise how large the portion sizes were and that my hash came with mushrooms mixed in it, otherwise I most certainly wouldn't have ordered the mushrooms on the side! The chorizo were the weakest element in this dish. I normally head straight for the protein in a bowl like this, but I enjoyed the crispy potato more.
The Eggs Benedict were lovely - beautifully poached eggs and a lovely hollondaise.
He assured me the banana bircher was very good - filling, nutritious and yummy. But it had bananas in it, so no way was I touching it. (I don't like fruits. There! I've said it! Don't judge me)
Service was friendly and efficient. Everything on the menu looks so yum. The lady at the next table had ordered a pancake stack of sorts and EVERYONE in our section, was staring at her plate when it arrived. I also want to try their chicken and waffles.
Food was pretty reasonable too for the portion size.
bestest for breakfast, dont let the queue change ur mind to have a lovely breakfast here! the place is sooo very simple but the food is amazingggg with a good price
Really good food and great customer service. A cosy restaurant in the middle of busy soho! Sadly didn't have the appetite to have a variety of food, but the burgers were great!
Nice and friendly cafe. Breakfast take centre stage. The breakfast burrito was quite good. There are also jacket potatoes with toppings less ordinary. Worth trying.
The most divine pancakes I have ever had!
This may be one of the place that has the best pancakes in London, so we give it a try. Also love the concept of the restaurant just serving 'breakfast', but are available for lunch as well.
The portion is huge but we managed to finish most of it due to the long queue that made us really hungry. The queue took about 45 minutes, but it was worth the wait.
Not to mention the smoothies there are amazing as well! Do try the 'green is good', tastes refreshing!
The place is always crowded and we had to stand in the queue for around 30 minutes to get a table. The egg Benedict's are very tasty and specially the Mexican one with chili. The pancake with the berry should have more marble syrup however it is good as well. To be honest i expected better but it is a nice experience overall!
We were looking for a big breakfast. Waited 45 mins for a seat. Shared tables. The full Monty £10 came with black pudding. The florentine egg benedict was exquisite with chopped chili and toasted peppers. The all American breakfast came with pancakes and bacon for £10. Also had the kale juice with lime. Went really well with the eggs benedict.
In London looking for a big English breakfast. Waited 45 mins for a seat on a Sunday morning. Shared tables. The full Monty £10 came with black pudding. The florentine egg benedict was exquisite with chopped chili and toasted peppers. The all American breakfast came with pancakes and bacon for £10. Also had the kale juice with lime. Went really well with the eggs benedict.
The breakfast here was absolutely phenomenal!! I had heard about this place and it certainly lived up to the hype. We did have to queue for about 20 minutes because they don't do reservations, which was a bit of a pain but it was definitely worth it! I got the all American pancakes, which was pancakes, bacon, maple syrup, fried potatoes, egg and a sausage! It was a lot of food and I couldn't finish it, I think next time I would just get the pancakes and bacon because that was my favourite part!
A nice bring-your-own-bottle restaurant in Soho, the service was really good, the burger was quite nice. The space was a bit too small though.
Would be 5 star if the line outside had wifi.
Food quickly made up for the hour+ wait.
Coffee is 12/10.
Staff friendly.
Would line up again for sure!
Its so yummy i liked the spices and the food is great... Had to wait for an hour and then waited inside for the order but it's worthy to wait
The best pancakes I've ever had in life!
Soooo good.
We were two people sharing a portion and we couldn't finish. We were dying, but it was too good to be wasted. We took breaks to finish it. Haha. Lip smacking, love and all that :)
One of the best breakfast places in London. Yes it's cost, yes you have to wait in a que, yes you have to sometimes share a table with other people (you don't know) ... the experience is still superb. I had the Huevos Al Benny, but substituted the chorizo with veggie sausages and added more fresh chillies. The poached egg with delicious hollandaise sauce in combination with well-prepared avocado and red roasted peppers made the who taste experience our of this world. The variety of breakfast option suits every taste... The health conscious, the strict dieter, and the - I don't care I just love food - kinda people (like me). Make sure to ask for the green juice or hot chocolate... The service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional as well. A must try and be their early for a good breakfast.
Don't let the hour long queue deter you from this place because you will be missing out on one of the best breakfast/brunches you will ever have in your life. Maybe I am biased because they only seem to hire attractive men as servers, but the atmosphere, coffee and French toast with bacon are the best things I've experienced in a long while. So, while you're passing along the dark buildings of Soho and this magnificent yellow building blinds you from the sidewalk, take the blinding as a beacon forward and try this spectacular place.
I was a bit suspicious that this place was all hype but after waiting for an hour on line, I was shocked to find that this restaurant was actually worth the wait!
In true red, white and blue style, this American opted for the 'All American'... Complete with pancakes, sausage, (British-style) bacon, 2 eggs as you like them and home cut chips..oh and Canadian maple syrup! Not only a gargantuan portion but so good! I won't need to eat for a week!
There was a quite a long line for the restaurant, but it was definitely worth the wait.
Ordered The All American, which came with pancakes, home-style fried potatoes, sausages, bacon and eggs.
The potatoes were amazingly done, the sausage was full of flavour and the bacon was streaky and crispy the way I like them. I had my eggs fried and the yolks were still perfectly runny. The pancakes were not the best that I ever had but they were still really good nonetheless, especially with the Canadian maple syrup.
Service was really great too! And the small restaurant gives off a cozy feel.
I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a yummy breakfast.
Fab for a big brunch and proper builder's tea when you've got a cracking hangover. If you can face the queue to get in, that is. Love their pancakes with poached eggs and fried potatoes, plus the obvious bacon and maple syrup. Indulge when you're here, it's the only way to really do it.
The best Breakfast/Brunch I've had till date. The all American breakfast was just perfect. The pancakes were nice and soft and the syrup was delicious. The bacon was crunchy and fried well. The sausages and potatoes were really good as well. The portion sizes for each plate was insane. So much food! The waiting time to get in was about an hour and 15 minutes. So make sure you're ready to wait in line because the food is definitely well worth the wait. Can't wait to visit this place again
If you have the day off work and are in the mood for pancakes, go to the Breakfast Club.
Anyone who hasn't heard of it, its basically a brunch style restaurant which cooks up breakfast delights including bacon and pancakes and other bits like burgers and burritos.
We decided to share some chilli beef nachos and a stack of pancakes with berries and vanilla cream...seriously if you order anything, SHARE IT - the portion sizes are like something out of the flintstones!
I can honestly say the pancakes are some of the best i've tasted so make sure you order a stack..after munching our way through about 2/3s of our order, we felt like we were about to give birth to a food baby so the staff let us mooch around for a while slumping on the table. The place has a really chilled vibe and they have a jukebox where you can request songs and the whole place is filled with quirky decor. there's a couple scattered across London in Hoxton, London Bridge and Angel so i definitely recommend a visit if you're ever near by!
It is indeed the best breakfast in london. After queuing for 20 minutes we had the best breakfast ever. The half monty the full monty and and eggs royal were cooked to perfection . The hot chocolate not to be missed . Loved the decor the ambience and how cozy it is. The waiters were so attentive and food came quick. And the pancakes was the finale .
Certainly the best breakfast place is London.
Pancakes are a must.
Going during off-peak hours is advised to avoid long queues. We had to queue for 40min to get a table, but it was definitely worth it.
Worth the wait. Helen and I had brunch here on a Friday. We waited 30 minutes. It was well worth it. Great staff, good menu with some unusual menu choices available. We both had breakfasts and the staff kindly substituted the standard sausage in mine for a chorizo sausage. Fantastic choice, the chorizo is superb. Lovely coffee and a smooth, creamy milkshake for me was topped off by the virgin breakfast mojito which Helen really enjoyed. Well worth a visit!
Great breakfast, fantastic mango and strawberry and orange smoothie. Beware, bacon portions are very generous.
I found the Breakfast Club to be a great place to come and enjoy a well cooked Hearty plate of food, I opted for the 'All American' really nice fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, the poached eggs were just slightly overdone, really nice sautéed potatoes with a sausage and crispy bacon... A very busy establishment which see's people queuing outside waiting to be seated. Overall it's worth the wait.
Lovely little cafe in the heart of soho just off wardour st. Had to queue half an hour but was worth it. Service was very fast when we were seated. I always order the all American. I found my bacon a little too crispy but all and all very delicious, with very reasonable sized helpings. Poached eggs were lush!
Unique little place in the heart of Soho. It is a little in the expensive side. A bacon Sarmiento and coffee cost me £6. My only complaint would be the service was very slow and forgetful. Which is suprising when you consider the size of the place (small).
Great Food, poor service. We were very lucky and got a table as soon as we got there. However, it took ages for the waiting staff to clear the table from the previous occupents, even leaving the payment made in cash on the table.
Eventually our order was taken and the food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. The coffee was not that hot.
The food was great and very tasy, the service was very poor.
A long queue formed at the door and people were asking to double up on tables, the waitress didn't seem to take it on board and ignored them. Only when several people asked did they take notice.
We asked for our bill (a queue still forming outside) and waited 5 minutes but nothing arrived. We then stood at the counter and still they didn't bother to serve us. Only when we asked again did they bother to give us our bill.
Best Breakfast Yet. Don't miss this one if you're craving a healthy, high quality start to your day. We at breaky at 130pm and weren't alone here. In fact we had to wait for a table. Best English breakfast so far. Yoghurt, granola and berries features top quality Greek yoghurt but there is too much granola so ask for less granola, more yoghurt and more fruit.
Fab place. Good service, nice smoothie, nice food, all for under £10. Highly recommended.
Best breakfast I had in London. Food was gr8. I would only recommend u call n make sure they r accepting customers before u go as I went 3 times before I was able to sit as they had staff meeting twice n closed early once. But again I would deffinitely go there again. The place has an old american hippy look and a nice comfortable friendly atmosphere. I would give the food 10/10 for the veggie breakfast.
Breakfast, it isn’t my favourite meal as I have a couple of issues around gluten, eggs, lactose and citrus! However, if I do need to have a working breakfast and think that the other guests are relaxed enough to enjoy something new then my favourite destination in London is The Breakfast Club ! A chain – but so not a chain – with branches across London, it pays homage to the epic film, good food and simply being an individual! Each of the locations are quirky shrines to that era and sadly, I did recognise most of the references. My companions – a work colleague and a journalist – met me out side and we queued quietly for our table. The Breakfast Club doesn’t do the fuss that reservations bring [and didn’t do it well before it became popular] so make sure you get up a little early when you visit. We were ushered to a table and I noticed by guests faces – both bemused, bewildered and – they were boys – hungry! Catching a passing waiters eyes, we ordered good coffee, tea and a couple of fresh fruit smoothies to nourish us as we flicked through the menu. While, I am sure that the genius behind this menu has never taken any substances that were not strictly legal [as of course have I never], the list looks like a cross between a stoners dream and an American diner – bouncing from the full English, to waffles, to halloumi and BBQ chicken sandwich. Yes, my young padawan, we have found the force that will get us through today even though the dark hungover force is strong in you! Chilli is my friend and I chose guacamole, chili, poached egg with bacon on toast! Substantial, tasty with a nice hint of tabasco (this is a standard condiment on all tables)! Once the sheer majesty of the place had worn off my companions when for the full monty and waffles with bacon. The food arrived in good time and while we managed to cover all the points we needed to discuss, let’s just say that initial five minutes of food-bliss was not eloquent moment of our lives. Dear Gosh that wa
Quite an iconic spot in Soho, the Breakfast club has received wide spread attention both in the food blogosphere and social media networks through the likes of Instagram. I guess it's hard for one to see nicely stacked American style pancakes or an Eggs Benedict (see below) without wondering where it is made. I first visited the breakfast club through word of mouth but the stunning pictures I saw on Instagram made me go back as I wasn't heavily impressed the first time. A fellow Old Harrovian was joining me for this meal so we were desperate to share an experience without the haunting memories of boarding-school food! I hate to break it to you guys but this place is another small no-reservations restaurant so there's bound to be a queue but try avoiding peak hours around 3pm. Luckily, we didn't have to queue for too long - about 10 minutes. Finally, after spending several minutes scrupulously looking through an insanely good menu, we came to a decision to order three dishes. The first
The burrito was amazing, huge in portion filled with flavours, the sides however were not, they didn’t taste as fresh and seemed a little pointless.
This is the third outlet in this small mini breakfast chain I've eaten at. They have just expanded to one more in Spitalfields, which I guess one day soon I will be eating the Full Monty at. The Soho branch is, as I prefer, small and cosy. Not many tables and mostly in twos and fours. Six is a pain as there is only one table to eat at. Which if you rock up just after another large group, you are stuffed for well over an hour. Like the large group behind us. Hahahaha. We were 6, and thankfully we only had the average 20 minute wait. The evil vibe we were sending out worked pretty good. Their are places I do not mind queuing for. Randall and Aubin is one, and the Breakfast Club is another, most other places I get peeved if it's more than 5 minutes, unless of course I have a drink in hand. Then it's all aok. Think Polpo. Onto the food. Well if you've been to one, you've been to them all. Service is with a smile and at a good Sunday Brunch speed. They understand what a hangover does to a p
After my morning Yoga at Triyoga , I was hungry for breakfast. Having just started my day with a namaste, I wanted breakfast to be good, healthy and inexpensive. Can I do it? Absolutely. The Breakfast Club is located in trendy Soho. Just look for the yellow building on D'Arbly Street. When I step inside and was greeted with a smile, I knew I was in good hands. The ambiance is very casual. Worn wooden floors and tables and yellow walls. Almost like sunshine inside and out. Hmmm, is that a sign? I'm handed a menu and away we go. Smoothies, fresh squeezed juices, fresh baked goods and eggs galore. Starving at this point, I order scrambled eggs with chorizo and a green tea. Now for all those vegetarians out there, don't get squeamish. They offer a variety of vegetarian options, including sausage. While enjoying my cup of tea, I partake in my favorite past time…people watching. Business meetings, coffee with the girls or just enjoying breakfast, are what I observe. Makes me look forward t
We were lucky enough to get there before the long queue round about 9:00 on a Monday morning. We did still have to wait to be seated so in essence we were the first in line as the queue began to grow by the minute behind us. I ordered The All American which I enjoyed thoroughly.
I've rated this a 3.5 only because I was not seated very comfortably as there is not a lot of space. Also because when we were leaving there was a huge line to get in and to be honest the place is great and all but I've already experienced it and waiting in line would not really appeal to me the second time around.
A cozy small breakfast spot; that's known when asked for their pancakes; Ordered a mix berries pancake & a double macchiato.
What to expect; slightly burnt from the outside with a soft moist from the inside, it didn't had the usual pancake fluffiness & it wasn't buttery, but vanilla cream & maple syrup added that aspect which I tend to believe is a balanced approach in terms of sweetness, because usually pancakes are buttery or super buttery & with its toppings makes it a heavy meal; Not forget the berries added a fruity flavor. The bonus point is their coffee! A bitter taste at first sip then you realize the chocolaty flavor kicks in to overcome that bitterness. For what I had would definitely come back again & try out rest of menu.
We went on a Sunday morning at around 9am...thinking 'it won't be that busy'...we were lucky enough to get the last table (which was and sharing table) without a queue! The staff were super friendly and attentive...there was a good choice of food...I had the all American breakfast and would definitely have it again :)
By the time we had finished about again hour later...The queue was there...lots of hungry bellies in need of pancakes! Must try at least once!!
I went here with a good friend of mine for a 9 AM breakfast on a sunny spring time. I got to the place at 830 and I have to wait for 30 mins to get seated. It was worth the wait.
The place is really small, and you would share a table with other customers if you get seated on the big table near the windows. The place itself is really cute and unique. The service is amazing, the guy who served us was very friendly and funny. I am not a pancake person but that morning I was craving something sweet so I ordered pancakes and berry, while my friend chose eggs florentine. For the drinks, we ordered chai tea latte and a juice (forgot what it was). It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. The pancakes were really good! Probably the best pancake I have ever tasted. Really moist and did not give me the heavy feeling after finishing those stack of pancakes. I tried my friend's egg florentine as well, and it tasted just as good. The drinks were also amazing and all served in a big glass.
The Breakfast Club is a must visit when in London! Love everything in it!!! Plus the price is affordable! Just tips for you guys, if you want to get a breakfast here do come as early as possible because after 9 AM the waiting line is reaaaaally long.
love this place. best brunch place in London
always long queues.because this place amazing !
must try smoke salmon scramble eggs and english breakfast ..yummy yummy
For the best brunches in town, The Breakfast Club is the place to go.
I think the queue to get a table, that was out in the street just said how good it really was.
Kelly and I found ourselves waiting for around an hour for a table, but boy oh boy was it good! Definitely worth the wait.
The waitress did make a mistake with my coffee, but happily remade it for me without any squibbles. Therefore the service was brilliant.
The food was so delicious and it has be wanting to go back as soon as possible.
I will most definitely be returning and I can't wait until I go back again!
This place offers amazing choices in breakfast, especially the pancakes which are out of the world. The only thing that they really need to work on is to make filter coffee available on the menu of coffees like other coffee houses in the area. Else, everything is just fine, the service is pretty awesome and the staff is really friendly as well. All in all this is a very pleasant experience.
I was finally able to try this place after being turned down thrice and the whole experience was just wonderful. I would suggest to make reservation before going as they are not always open. The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection. The ambience was quite good with the decor being on the old american style. I would love to visit this place again and would suggest others who haven't tried to visit this place at least once because it's worth it.
This is one of my favourite restaurants. The interiors are a bit and quirky and fun to watch. The food on offer is of very good quality. The staff is friendly and the service is also quite attentive. However, I would recommend you to bring your own booze. Overall, a very nice experience.
The restaurant is a nice hangout place where one can chill, chit chit with friends.
The decor is modern with sofas and big tables, quite cozy and comfortable.
The service is a little slow but while sipping on your wine, the time passes by quick and one does not get bothered much.
The food that arrived was good, nothing extraordinary though but not bad either.
Shall be back again!
This place is perfect for people who loves breakfast options and even want to have it during lunch or dinner hours. They deliver an all day breakfast menu. The concept is unique but loved by people. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone only for these scrumptious breakfast options.
This place is rather popular and fills up soon enough. The ambiance here is very enjoyable and there are currencies of other countries, photos decorating the walls. The best dish here has to be the bacon and banana french toast. They were also kind enough to serve avocado sides to us. A great place!
Upon arriving at this place, I found a queue at the door. Nevertheless, the waiter attended to me and had done a fairly good job in informing the people regarding their waiting time. The quality of food on offer was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The only let-down was the fact that I was seated with two random people which was a bit awkward at times. Overall, it was a nice experience.
This place is great for brunch.
The atmosphere is very cozy and the ambience is also very good . You can really enjoy old furniture there. The staff was very good and super friendly too , but sometimes they are busy too and which is by the way fine because of the popularity of this place. This place is a must go according to me.
A very popular and trendy eatery in Soho.
It is mostly full all days.
We went there on a Wednesday for brunch and were among a queue for 15.
We had to wait 20 minutes but the food is totally worth it.
The smoothie was lip smacking, the eggs were well prepared too.
It’s a small restaurant that is receiving a lot of appreciation and totally deserves it.
This place in my opinion is perfect for a meal with friends ,even though the place has a tendency to remain full , the staff is very hospitable. This is essentially a breakfast place and they are alcohol free till evening. But the staff is more than happy to recommend you a place.I had some really amazing burgers and burritos and will surely return!
For brunch, I ordered a pancake which I must say was delicious. The prices are also fairly reasonable. The staff was friendly and the service spot on. The pancake was quite filling and came at reasonable price. Going to this place again soon. I would also recommend you people to try this place. It is definitely worth a visit.
The quality of food is quite excellent. The portions offered are huge. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. However, the only drawback is that the space is limited and you will find long queues most number of times. I would recommend you people to try their black pudding and breakfast burrito.
It is one of the best breakfast places I have ever been to in town. The "All-American" breakfast here is my favorite. Everything I have ever ordered here has been extremely delicious and delightful. The smoothies are also a must-have. The ambiance is chic and casual which adds to the overall experience.
This place is sure kind of small but the quality of the breakfast that they are going to provide you is tremendous. That is going to make your day. If you will be going in a group of 4-5 , you sure have to wait for 15-20 minutes for the table , but that wait is worth because the breakfast quality that they will provide you will leave you stunned.
Do try breakfast burrito , according to me it is the best in there.
The staff is also very friendly and the place soothes you.
We went there for breakfast on Saturday and had a wonderful experience. There was a queue when we reached there and the staff politely informed us of the time that we have to wait before finding a table. After being comfortably seated, we ordered a full Monty. The portions were quite enormous and we had a filling meal. The service was quick and the atmosphere was electric. There were some mistakes that occurred though they were immediately rectified by the authorities. I strongly recommend you all to give this place a visit.
The food that is offered here is nothing short of brilliant. I came here to get American breakfast as the English breakfast was not worth eating again. My friends and I came here at 10 am and only waited until 10:20 am. The ambience is very hipster, if you know what I mean. The service is wonderful considering how busy they are. I ordered the eggs benedict with fried potatoes and a coffee with skim milk on the side. I found my dish pretty good, and so did my friends. I would definitely come back here again to try more of the breakfast dishes they have to offer!
The place is small and one is always welcomed here with a queue. But this place is definitely worth the wait. To begin with the staff is incredibly upfront and service is commendable. They have the most incredible and delicious breakfast menu. Love the egg benedict! On another upside, the portions are high. On the downside, price is slightly high for a takeaway!
This place is a unique spot tucked away in Soho. It may come across as being a bit expensive. But it was worth the food I ate. My only hassle with the place would be that the service was slow and often forgetful. This is surprising considering how small the place is!
This is a place to relax and according to me this is a place where you can enjoy your breakfast meal. Here you can get American style brunch and the best part about it is that you do not have to spend too much for it.
If you are planning on visiting here then try and get here as early as possible or else you will be waiting in a queue.
I had to wait for 30 minutes to be seated but it was worth the wait! The staff was great and very helpful. The food menu was rather varied with some unusual choices. The staff was kind enough to replace the regular sausage in my order with chorizo sausage. The coffee is just perfect with a smooth and creamy texture! Really enjoyed.
I come to this place as often as i can to start my first meal of the day full of nutrition . The place was full when we reached and we had to wait for few minutes to get a table inside. I simply love the choices that you get in their breakfast options. The Greek yogurt consists of granola and berries and is my favorite. This place n my opinion serves the best English breakfast!
I found this place a great venue to enjoy a well cooked healthy plate of food. I ordered the all American fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, the poached eggs which were a bit overdone. Along with this I had sauteed potatoes with a sausage and crispy bacon. It was a very busy place buzzing with people, queuing outside waiting to be seated. But it is worth the wait!
This place was a perfect spot for me to try a bit of greasy breakfast. The staff was also friendly and pumped up. The restaurant has a rustic feel with the wooden chairs and tables laid out. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed my time there. Definitely worth your visit.
As this place is usually busy we were lucky to manage a table here. However the staff was terribly slow in clearing the table from the previous customers. They also decided to leave the bill amount in cash there. Soon enough once we settled down, they took our order and the food and drinks came to our table soon. My complaint was with the coffee, as it was not hot at all.
Fantastic! Great burgers, great staff and great prices. My tip - get a fried egg on your burger. And be prepared to share the nachos. Love it.
Gluten-free Since'93
+4.5
There is a reason why there is always a queue of people outside of this place. The food is absolutely the most amazing thing on the planet, especially if you’re a breakfast-over (like myself).
If you’re lucky enough to tolerate gluten go for the Pancakes and Bacon (yes, bacon goes very well with maple syrup) or the Panckaes with Berries.
For those that prefer to go for something healthier (and gluten free) take the Avocado and Poached Egg, with some addition of crispy bacon.
All the meals are very filling, so you don’t have to take two things. If you believe you still have some space, get one of their milkshakes or juices. Yummy!
I think this place it's a great treat. We booked a table for 8 people. When we got there the place was so busy and still many people coming after us. That can only show how popular is this place.
You can choose from breakfast, eggs sandwiches, toasties to burgers and pancakes or a range of great smoothies.
Great atmosphere with a great service, efficient and friendly.
So there's no point wasting time writing a cliched review about how great the eggs are, and how impressive the secret bar is and how full you when you leave so instead I've summarised my experience into a series of Mathematical equations:
Queue for longer than Space Mountain in Disneyland + menu indecisiveness = third world hunger pangs.
Third world hunger pangs + hungover impulsiveness = ordering everything on the menu
Ordering everything on the menu (including 1 million calorie milkshake) + hungover impulsiveness = empty wallet, filled belly, dodgy liver, and a Sunday well spent
Lovely food served by lovely people at a lovely place only if you can withstand long wait in queue to get a table! Highly recommended for healthy eating as well.
I have been there for once only but this is the place for nice breakfast for weekend. Freshly prepared tasty food and child friendly cool atmosphere. Fast service and polite staff.
Honestly, I do not understand the hype of this place.
It took my friend and I an hour to get in. Once we're in we got put onto a tiny table basically rubbing elbows with the customers sitting next to us. The food is standard American diner food, pancakes, eggs, french toast etc.
Not to say the food was not good, but it definitely was not worth the hour queue and a big reason as to why I won't be re-visiting this place anytime soon. I ordered the blueberry and raspberry pancake when I visited last and it was great, the pancakes were fluffy and berries were fresh, coupled with a latte and it was a great meal all round. Nothing spectacular, but I was not dissatisfied. My friend had the bacon and french toast which she was also very satisfied with, yet once again nothing spectacular and can't be found elsewhere that does not require an hour of our time queueing.
So, although we had queue to get in, it was definitely worth it. Once you're inside, you're greeted by a lovely quant, retro cafe. The staff are hip and friendly, and there is a great atmosphere partly thanks to the 80s music (always a laugh) and the trendy decor.
I went for the sweet potato and halloumi burger, which was accompanied with chips (with the skin) and a side salad. It was satisfyingly divine. Completely filled me up and it was delicious. My friend had a brownie for her main meal. The brownie looked fabulous and came with a good dollop of ice cream on the side.
We also had cocktails! I had an Aperol Spritz, a fruity combination of Aperol, topped up with prosecco and soda.
Overall a fabulous place, which is reasonably priced and I would definitely return.
Great food, but service... Not so much
My friend and me were told of this place by the apartment manager who rented us our place.
We arrived just after 10:30am and started ordering immediately because we were starving. I ordered “Posh sausage sandwich” which was delicious. We asked our server to bring us their top 2 most popular eggs dishes, but he misunderstood us somehow because we ended up getting the same dish, with a larger portion for 2 people.
Not only that, he had to keep saying sorry because it took a long time for our dishes to be ready. Although it was delicious, I was looking forward to having 2 different dishes to taste and the other dish we thought we had ordered sounded incredible.
We would go back to eat in this place as the food is great, however, we would pay closer attention to ensure our server understood what we wanted.
The Breakfast Club has some of the best breakfast in town, and I know a lot about breakfast (if I could, I would have breakfast for dinner everyday). There is an amazing selection of eggs, pancakes and even some guilt-free porridge (but who would really choose that?!)
However, I wish the location was bigger (which is the reason the rating has lost one whole point). There is nothing more frustrating than standing just a few meters away from what you know is amazing food, but having to wait over an hour to get to it (yes the wait is often that long, particularly on weekends during brunch time).
If you are patient, and perhaps already had a breakfast at home, then I would recommend you brave it, because you will be rewarded with an amazing experience, once you are through the door.
The breakfast club is one of the best places in london for breakfast and there's no doubt about it. The place is tiny and hence many a times you have to wait outside to get in but then once the food comes you realise it was worth the wait. The eggs are amazing and so are the pancakes. Always been really happy with the food here
This gets a 4... Why? Because I HATE QUEUEING. No, it's not their fault but this place is TINY. Unfortunately, until the Battersea one opened up, this was the nearest to me, so I have spent many hours of my life here. I love the decor in here, service is good, still probably the best bacon I have ever had and I simply love the Eggs Benedict. Everybody close to me knows that I have a thing for Eggs Benedict and I'm always on the hunt for the next best one. This place started it all. Their juices are great, their All American is what dreams are made of! However, I would actually recommend avoiding this outlet on a weekend, I have queued for almost 2 hours on a bad day. They are pretty kind though, always bringing out little glasses of juice or hot chocolate for us to drink. If you have the time or can't get out of Soho, this place is a good bet but if not, head over to one of their other outlets!
Amidst the crowded locality of Soho,The Breakfast Club is one of the best places in London for a breakfast outing.
The restaurant/cafe provides a large variety of options to choose from. The breakfast joint provides choices from savory dishes to sweet pancakes. There are also a vast variety of beverages, ranging from freshly made smoothies to fresh brewed coffee.
As recommend I tried the Boston beans ,the slow roasted pork was perfectly cooked and its perfect combination with the fried eggs and beans served with toast was a perfect treat.
Me and my friend also happened to share a portion of pancake with berries and ice cream .The pancakes were classic American pancakes served with fresh berries and vanilla ice cream which was a perfect way to end the Breakfast /Brunch.
The overall experience was great because of the perfect food, ambiance and service. The only downside was the waiting to get a table there, the place is most of the time crowded during brunch hours (11 AM-3PM). It's better to call and take a reservation for a muddle-free meal!
But be prepared to queue; I have been there twice now and queued for an average of 30 minutes, which is the norm. I find that the turnaround is generally quick, the service is reasonable and the food is served in hearty big portions. Admittedly, some things on my plate tasted better than their counterparts (i.e. the pancakes were better than the scrambled eggs), but all in all, the food was decent and tasty.
The selection of breakfast on offer is mouthwatering – there is so much to choose from! And I am also grateful that their vegetarian options aren’t half-hearted like most places. Mainly all the meaty options have a vegetarian alternative. I’m not a veggie myself, but can only eat halal meat. Therefore, when I eat out in non-halal places, I go for veggie options. I have to admit that on both occasions I went there, I chose the ‘Veggie All American’.
This consists of 2 pancakes, eggs made to your preferred style (fried, scrambled or poached), a veggie sausage, mushroom, home-style fried potatoes to die for and then you’re given a bottle of maple syrup to drown your food to your heart’s content! Then I washed it down with a ‘Slow Boy’ freshly squeezed juice made from apple, carrot, orange and ginger.
The first time I went, my friend ordered ‘The Full Monty’ which consisted of bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs, home-style fried potatoes, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomato and toasted multigrain bloomer… just wow! She had her eggs poached and I remember her saying she could taste the vinegar on the egg which was a little off putting. But I also remember us both being extremely full afterwards and needing to go back home to lie-down!
This time round I went with some friends who had ‘The All American’ which was the same as my pancake dish, but with a proper sausage and streaky bacon. But I loved the look of the fresh mint tea they ordered with it!
I can see how something like The Breakfast Club works really well in London and no wonder why it is very popular. It’s a great way to eat out with friends too because you have the time that you are queued up to chat, which makes up for the less time you spend inside ordering and eating the food.
I hear the branch near Liverpool Street has a secret door that leads to an underground bar area once you say the secret phrase… but I’m not sure I should be telling you this though? Haha! I hope to venture down there some day myself!
Go on, give it a go!
First thing's first- do NOT come here if you hate queuing. I brought a friend here who really wanted to try the place for the first time and we had to stand for 40 minutes in the cold...that being said, the food is quite delicious but most of the dishes are nothing special compared to what you can get at other brunch locations across London. Their berry pancakes though are pretty amazing- smothered in cream and taste very light and fluffy.
Overall it's a nice place to sit and relax but I don't think I'll be in a rush to come back!

This place is no secret.
Made pretty obvious by the sizeable queue…
… that went around the block.
When my sister, her friend J and I started queueing at 11:15 on a Saturday morning, we didn't realise quite how long the wait would be - if we had, we probably wouldn't have braved it. Ignorance was bliss in this case, because we only got inside an hour and a half later. That's dedication.
The last time I went there was my first time, and we got there at a funny time on a weekend - around 3/4pm - so we barely had to queue. This was a different experience all together, but it did make the food taste that much better once we were finally given our well-deserved brunch.
http://www.wandertowonder.com/2014/02/the-breakfast-club.html
As you can see, it was quite the spread. We ordered the Full Monty (full English), pancakes with bacon, and french toast with apples and cinnamon. Although everything was delicious, we unanimously agreed that the pancakes were the stars of the show - it was confirmed that the first I tried them here wasn't a fluke.
We did ourselves proud -
Obviously, queueing for an hour and a half is for loonies, so I would suggest you go at an obscure time or on a weekday at least. If you can face the long queue though, it will be worth it - it'll be like running a marathon or giving birth. You'll forget the pain once it's done (or so I'm told…).
The Breakfast Club - best early morning breakfast where one can wake up to eggs, toast, sausage, juice, JIMI HENDRIX, LED ZEPPELIN, THE WHO, THE ROLLING STONES - London's most wonderful "wake-up" call.
Sometimes its not so much about the food, but where you can get pumped up on heavy doses of caffeine and CLASSIC ROCK.
Amazing pastrami sandwich !! Everything I've had there up to now was very good. Great prices. Love it
Like all the place in the world that make really good and tasty food, expect long queue (when I went was a cold morning and they served free chocolate to all the people outside), the food is exceptional, BEST place for breakfast, inside is tiny.
The food in this popular Soho cafe is good, that much is undeniable. The Spanish Builder's Breakfast is a real treat, powered with a burst of chorizo's gorgeous juices. But the sheer popularity of The Breakfast Club still escapes explanation. There are numerous places with better food and less cramped seating. Is it the celebrity spotting? The elitism of having endured the whole queue? Whatever it is, it's misguided. The Breakfast Club is worth a ten minute wait at most.
The must are the Benedict eggs with ham , so yummy , the place is nice even the guys are really friendly .
The only point and the only reason why i went only once is because is terrific the queue , is such a joke every time , and even if is really a good place for a succulent breakfast , you can do only once.
Breakfast Club is one of those places where you worry if the hype may outweigh the eating experience itself: thankfully Breakfast Club more than lives up to its reputation. The only downside are the enormous queues that its popularity brings - be prepared to wait in-line for 30 minutes at a weekend to get a table, if you're determined to try this place and not go elsewhere.
The breakfast options are fantastic: the pancakes are delicious but my favourite is still the "Full Monty" English breakfast - a great classic selection, done to perfection, and a large enough portion to deal with any hangover. The decor is quirky and fun, unsurprisingly, and it's always worth a visit if you're in the area.
The Breakfast Club is a restaurant, which people swear by, so I was slightly apprehensive that it might not live up to the hype. I was fortunately proven wrong.
We went there at around 630 in the evening on a weekday and it was completely packed. We were told that unless we had a reservation we would not get a table. One of our friends was craving food from the Breakfast Club so we decided to brave the cold and sit outdoors. What seemed like a foolhardy decision, turned out to be a brilliant one, the waffles I had with bacon, chocolate, and maple syrup was heaven indeed. I had asked for extra bacon, and that was quite unnecessary as the quantity served is very generous. One downer in the meal was that though the staff had told us one of the dishes was eggless, it turned out to have egg in it. However to their credit, they apologized immediately and gave a refund. All in all, a very good experience.
If its a hearty all American breakfast you looking for, I strongly suggest this small little cosy breakfast joint known as the breakfast club nestled in D'Arblay Street, Soho. It may look small but its portions are anything but that. A great fix after a night of partying or even when you just want to avoid the same old prêt sandwich. Their menu has great choices ranging from wraps to pancakes to deli sandwiches. I loved their "The All American" and they even gave me 2 extra pancakes on the side! Their sausages were cooked to perfection maintaining the juicy firm texture with the right amount of grease of that morning kick. I also managed to try some of the potatoes that accompanied my friend's dish and although a little soggy, I wouldn't expect anything else. They do after all get neglected in front of its siblings- pancakes and sausages but give a much needed carbohydrates boost. I must however also point out that i was a tee-bit disappointed with their iced latte. It was a bit too bitter for my taste. The staff was really friendly and prompt and I loved how mismatched everything was. It makes it more homely and less serious! Breakfast is all about fun now isn't it? I would definitely recommend the breakfast club- worth the money!
Overall rating: 4/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Food: 4/5
This is absolutely a place to visit if you're in London.
If you want to try a traditional London meal you should pick The Full Monty English breakfast. I would recommend this one if you are hungry.
I would have loved to try the pancakes but I was already full.
The staff was so nice and they helped me with some drink recommendations so I asked for the chocolate with marshmallows.
I really enjoyed this meal.
Great vibes (loved the music), nice food & friendly staff. The place was jam packed (in the weekend), still the staff was super attentive & quick (thank you Greg for the great service!). The coffee was good as well.
No booking needed..short wait sometimes. Overall, would recommend.
My first visit to this place & as their cup indicates, "locally world famous" 😆
Such a cute place with choices for coffee, juice & breakfast. I got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon & it was outstanding! Coffee was so good, I had to pack some to go.
Was craving a hearty breakfast and TBC hit the spot. For a Sunday morning we were seated quickly although there was a line. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered the American breakfast and the greasy spoon. It was all cooked as you'd expect and the eggs were perfect. The juices and smoothies were a nice plus. We were left wanting to try more things from the menu so will definitely be back.
We arrived around 9am with no reservations, but we were quickly accommodate by the staff. The coffee was quite good and the food was tasty.
The background Playlist was so good! Cool environment, we really enjoyed it.
The waitress was very nice and friendly ☺️
Breaky was delicious, the food quality was great. While the coffee was decent, everything else was great. I would gladly return and bring along friends and the fam.
Saw a long line, and when we asked our hotel concierge best breakfast in soho, this place was mentioned. Did a 30-minute line, and it was so worth it. Great food and juices.
Very good experience, small local place, portions are big, food it’s tasty and delicious. Coffee service was bit too slow, overall it’s a great option for breakfast
The breakfast was delicious, it was totally worth the 45 minutes wait in the line to try it. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly, no matter how much you pay them - give them a raise.
Would absolutely come back for another yummy breakfast!
Very busy restaurant but I was seated very quickly. Staff is friendly and attentive. This is an ideal breakfast for someone who wants something hearty.
Not often you find somewhere to eat and drink that has exceptional service , food and ambience. This was a birthday treat from the hubby and it did not disappoint. The staff were amazing!! Thank you so much hope to see you all again soon! :-)
I went shortly after opening, it wasn't as busy in the morning.
Ordered an Americano, green juice, and the Avocado, egg, and bacon sandwich. The service was great, very prompt. The food had a lot of flavor but the only thing I didn't enjoy was the soggy bun on the bottom of the sandwich. It came out from the kitchen that way, but it still tasted delicious.
Cosy place for breakfast. Be here early as there’s always a queue. Once seated, the service is quick. Highly recommend the Full Monty.
Very nice breakfast place. The food was good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Nothing extravagant about the place, but it's a cool place to have breakfast.
Used to love this place, but lately the quality has declined and they've stripped the menu of some classics. Still a good brunch option though, despite the queue
We queued about 15 minutes to get a seat on a Sunday around 11am.
Food was decent but definitely overpriced. Spent about £40 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. I do understand why there’s a hype for it but as a non foreign person… food was pretty standard. Pancakes are definitely good and atmosphere was great.
Atmosphere was nice, service not really fast but kind. The food was ok, kinda overpriced and overhyped but overall good experience.
