The food was rather nice and rather hot. The tea selection is ranged and worth trying. Staff were attentive and they have a wonderful selection of desserts. The venison puffs are tasty.

We’re serial attenders to this Soho institution. The ambiance is understated chic. The service is welcoming and attentive. A big thank you to Roshan in that respect. Top man. None of the food is the best I’ve ever had but it’s delicious all the same. The standard is high and more importantly it’s consistent every time. What draws us back is the whole package. Relaxed understated Chinese fine dining.

We came as a group of 5 for dinner on a Wednesday night. The service was excellent, very friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere was great. The star of the show really was the food though, it was genuinely outstanding. We ordered a range of different dishes: dim sum, noodles, stir-fries etc and they were all delicious. I would particularly recommend the crab bao bun! All of the cocktails were delicious too, so overall I can't fault it! The prices are a bit expensive however for me, it was totally justified given the quality of food and service. I'd highly recommend for a special occasion. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Food quality was 8/10, great at the spot but both me and the other person didn’t feel great afterward. Service was not excellent, quite uninterested/not matching the vibe (they were rushing us to leave and brought us the check although we didn’t ask for it with the machine to pay, and we still had half an hour in our reservation time). They were accommodating as we asked to be moved from downstairs to upstairs as it was loud, but upstairs the table are so close one to the other that it doesn’t feel intimate at all. I would go back for the food because I think it’s a great Chinese but not for the service/ environment. Also the guy at the door is really not welcoming.

Absolutely amazing food! Vegan taster menu dishes just kept on arriving. Red snapper curry was excellent quality and substantial. Jasmine tea served with main course was perfect. Patisserie desserts were beautiful.

Yauatcha Soho: where my taste buds went on a flavor rollercoaster! 🎢 The mushroom dim sum was so good, I almost declared myself a fungi enthusiast on the spot. 🍄🥟 The stir-fried beef had me doing a happy dance in my chair – I might have even twirled my chopsticks like drumsticks. 🕺💃 And the aromatic crispy duck? Let's just say, I'd happily wear a duck costume just to show my appreciation.

Gluten-free okay! I tried this restaurant because of the reviews I read online. I can only confirm what I read except for two things. Few choices of dishes for celiacs and lack of tablecloth. Otherwise great place, from the staff to the quality of the food. There are so many waiters that you are treated like a king, served and revered! The place is very gloomy, dark colors with little light. Small bathrooms with a useless sink, narrow and long with faucets that spray very little water. Bill £40 per head, honest for the area.

Really lovely time spent with a friend here. We booked last minute, and thankfully they had availability. We were warmly welcomed, and was able to move to another table as I thought where we were placed was quite congested. Food was delicious and made to perfection, good portion sizes. Prices are reasonable and there are lots of sharing options. I went for Singapore style noodles and duck rolls. My friend got Dim Sum and another dish. Our severs were Uzzol & Roshan who were both great, very attentive and very helpful with additional requests. Made our experience that much better. Great aesthetic and good atmosphere. We went on a Sunday, so parking was just outside to the side of the restaurant thankfully as Soho can be such a bad place for parking, often spending ages driving around looking for somewhere..

The experience was special and delicious. All the dishes were varied with flavors ranging from sweetness to spiciness. The service was excellent, the timing of serving the dishes from first course to dessert was perfect. I would definitely recommend it as one of the top restaurants in London.

We stopped by for dessert and tea around 4pm. The ambience was lovely. You could see that a lot of work went into making each dessert. They were delicious. My personal favourite was the Spiky Lemon dessert.

This place is nothing short of amazing and this is by far the best tea in London. We sat at the bar drinking tea, which felt strange and cool at the same time. The service was incredible, the staff helped us with our choice of tea. This is the second time I've visited here and received fantastic service on both occasions. The deserts look outstanding and very tempting. There is a 13.5 percent service charge here but the service is honestly worth it.

From all the restaurants in London I went to I had my best experience here at Yauatcha Soho! The food was out of this world delicious as well as their desserts and drinks, visually very cute, mouthwatering & pleasing to look at and their staff very friendly, fast and attentive. Just from entering the restaurant you can tell it is going to be an unforgettable experience (it seems to be very popular and this rightfully so; I'd recommend to reserve a table beforehand) and it was- thank you so much Yauatcha staff for this great experience, I would love to come here again someday!

I have been here several times over the years and food is always excellent. The duck spring rolls and diem sum continue to make my day. However the service is lacking and a disappointment.

Yauatcha Soho is almost an institution for me in the crowded and very competitive London dining market. You see nice places opening and in couple of months they shut down…gone. To survive and do well you need to have an unbeatable offer. Something that Yauatcha perfected through the years. I did not come to Yauatcha since the pandemic and I was curious to see how they were doing. Reservation was easy, they warm welcomed all the guests and the food and the drinks were delicious. The great upgrade was the service. Yauatcha had always a good service, but it seems that they had level up their game tremendously. Our host, Roberta S., was beyond perfection: she helped with the choice of the food, with the pairing of the dishes, with the drink menu, she explained all the ingredients and sauces clearly and concise. Few knows that Yauatcha hold also a Michelin star, but the service clearly deserve 3! Pricewise it’s also a fair choice. For a glamourous night with an Asian twist in London, Yauatcha is the place!

My most favourite place ever! The atmosphere inside, downstairs is amazing. The dim sum is from another level. I’ve nowhere else in the world eaten this quality and delicious food. I’ve been at this place now over 20 times and it’s still delicious. Service has been always outstanding. I highly recommend this place, in the middle of Soho.
