Good indian food to taste. Had plain rice and aubergine(brinjal) curry. Very taste. Masala was nice. Had some roti's. It also serves nice drinks. Enjoy the indian flavor in a good hospitality way. Near to hammersmith station.
Delicious Indian food that doesn't break the bank. We ordered 2 curries and 2 rice and that was more than enough for the two of us. Decent drinks menu too.
I am always in search of good tasting fish curry, and as of now the Kerala fish curry at Shilpa is the best one I had in the UK. This is a small, family run restaurant and certainly has the welcoming warmth. Do try the appam and one bite of it will take you straight to the beaches of Kerala state of India. The appam goes excellently well with any curry, fish curry the most. Kerala parotta is another interesting option. Service is good, can get really busy during weekend evenings. A great value for money, great taste and home feel is what summarise this restaurant.

For 3 and a half years we lived really close to Hammersmith and I took a bus home from work everyday, and visited plenty of restaurants down King Street. Remember Sagar? And Tuga? And Noodles & Magic? I never noticed Shilpa, and in retrospect, it baffles me how I missed it. I’ve been to Shilpa Hammersmith thrice in the last year and three months, and each time I have adored it.
I didn’t know that Squids were actually termed as Kanava in Southern India. I simply wanted to try something quirky and something belonging to the sea. One of my friends selected Kanava Fry and I went along. This recipe is too good and it is batter fried. This is an excellent starter to try from Shilpa Indian Restaurant.
Last week I went to try something unusual and so I went to Shilpa Indian Restaurant to try some Indian food. I tried grilled sea scallop and it was mesmerizingly tasty. With the right proportion of onion, ginger, garlic, and pepper, this grilled recipe was bliss to the tongue. I surely loved all the other items I ordered there but this was my favourite.
Walked past this restaurant many times and was intrigued. spur of the moment, I decided to come and was not disappointed. The food and service was incredible. The dishes were explained as they were ordered, every member of staff was friendly, service was quick. If you're looking a for a lovely evening and great food, give this place a try!
This is one of the best Indian food I have tasted, I went there with my girlfriend and her parents and immediately after I walked in we got a table for 4, the waiter was nicely polite and inviting. We tried the onion bhaji and bonda, and the kozhi curry. They were really good. Food excellent, Service excellent, Cleanliness excellent. Conclusion 5/5 (with amazing food and super nice people working there this is an absolute 5 star restaurant.)
I wanted to try something spicy so I went to Shilpa Indian Restaurant with my friends. The staff offered us a variety of food items. We were quite confused but they helped us select suitable items for our taste buds. I had chicken 65 which were so good in taste.

Shilpa Indian Restaurant is a good Indian restaurant that offers toothsome Kerala cuisine in Hammersmith area. If you want to try some not so spicy but extremely delicious food then this restaurant is the place to be. I love their food and keep coming back to them for more.
We went recently on 20th September on My Husband's Birthday to have dinner. He is a big fan of crab 🦀🦀 but not me so whenever he wants to eat that we visit Shilpa restaurant. Also my girls always ordered no. 36 chicken curry delicious none chicken curry has taste like this. Pure authentic Indian food. We will always visit this place as long as they serve tasty Indian food.

Excellent food. Starter attirachi varattiyath and main Alappey Fish curry with appam was great. Loved the food. As a keralite, I was glad that this restaurant serves authentic Keralan food. Great service by the staff too. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Chiswick. Had an amazing , very close to authentic Kerala lunch here. Kerala paratha and beef ularthiyadhu were delicious and must try. I also tried Kappa Biryani , it was delicious but I personally felt like there was room for improvement. Fish curry and Kerala brown rice were very good as well. I already know that I will be a regular at this place. Great portion size. I want to try their appam and egg roast , chicken roast etc., next and few other dishes like mappas as well.
This was a truly wonderful experience as this is the only authentic Kerala restaurant at least in West London. Highly recommended.
One of the best restaurants serving authentic South Indian food. Kappa and fish curry is a must try, and kappa biriyani is really delicious. The team is polite and friendly. The ambience is great. We have visited a few times, and we were impressed every time. We will be visiting soon.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. This restaurant is fantastic. We got 4 mains and all were delicious, flavorful, fresh, well cooked and great portions. Sides and breads were equally good. The service was charming and cheerful and helpful. Whilst the decor and place was basic, no more was required and it made for a lovely place for a date. We will be back.
MUST TRY
We visited during dinner hours . Must say . Food and hospitality was impeccable. Very clean but small place . We enjoyed the food we ordered . Do try the kerala Porotta and authentic beef dishes .
Mind that no parking around so better use public transport .
All the best
Tasty Kerala cuisine served here. We had a few dishes to share incl paripu, green bean thoran, beef Ulathiyarthu and Kerala fish curry. All were delicious and would happily recommend. Don't forget to order some appam/hoppers or parata bread to go with the dishes.
