ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! I did not expect the food to be this good, I dont have words. We had padrons, burrata, tartare and the terrine and then the lamb and haddock for main. It was fantastic! We had the crepe and mousse for desert which were great too but we were quite full at that point! Love t

A great fish and chips! The beer was fresh! Very nice place. The table was a little bit uncomfortable for a big guy. Very friendly and polite staff! The waiter made a small mistake on our bill but she immediately accepted and reimbursed the difference!
Superb lunch. Had Roasted Delicia Pumpkin & Chickpea Tabouleh, Harissa Yoghurt, Pomegranate (£15) which was heavenly. Followed with an irresistible Sticky Toffee Pudding, Butterscotch, Pear, Rum & Raisin Ice Cream (£10), which was WGFF (worth getting fat for!)

Other night, I had the pleasure of dining at Alfred Tennyson, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the manager Carl warmly greeted us with utmost politeness and accommodation. He personally escorted us to our table, setting the tone for what turned out to be a remark
This pub was packed around 5pm when people were finished work and the sun was beaming down (August). I couldn’t get a table outside, but standing on the sunny sidewalk was still great 🙌
After a very long day, this was a lovely haven where we could relax. My husband had an excellent chicken and leek pie and I had a perfectly cooked bream.
