The best vegan hamburguer I have ever had!!!! Everyone was really nice, they have both vegan and vegetarian burgers, with the beyond meat burger!
Delicious burgers and chips. I'd highly recommend the bacon and cheese chips. The burgers are juicy and offer a decent degree of options in terms of add-ons and choice of cheeses and sauces. A tad pricey, but worth indulging in, once in a while.
Great branch! I got a chicken burger and it was fantastic. The mac and cheese is soo good, my taste buds were very happy! I'd definitely recommend Byron to anyone visiting London. Great dining experience!
Burgers that live up to the hype ! Was properly impressed with the awesome selection and would love to sample everything on their menu. Milkshakes look great too
Firm, succulent meat. The bun was toasted just right, crisp enough to buckle under the weight of the pattie and condiments. I have visited the place three times during the past two years and I really enjoyed it. Byron is a proof that a chain restaurant doesn't have to serve substandard rubbish.
We like its hamburgers. They serve us well done. Cheese burger is very good. Onion rings is little bit faty. Prices is average 10-15 pounds per person. Also this place is very crowded :)

I really liked the space at first glance and then I was really impressed with the service! The people there were really friendly and the milkshake, that I was really reluctant to try, was to die for!!!
Ate there on a Tuesday night around 7.30pm, was busy but no issue getting a table. Had the boilermaker combo - any hamburger, beer and bourbon. All 3 were great. Not the cheapest place to get a burger but good ingredients, cooked well with friendly and attentive service. Would go back and recommend
Byron Heaven. This the 3rd branch of the Byron chain I had eaten at. The service was bright and cheerful. The burgers were as good in the other places.
The fries were a let down, needed a bit more in the fryer.
The vanilla milkshake was a dream
No surprise here, good quality meat, cooked and seasoned perfectly as I have always found with Byron they know how to deliver a good meat patty.
Menu was well-structured (as in nice and simple) & clearly for grown-ups. You find the statement about the source of their beef (not so specific) & exactly what you get between your buns. Great gesture - no service charge added if less than 8 people on the table. No complementary monky nuts but a jug of water with lemon wedge & frozen cold glasses. Frozen glasses - I love this. Burger selection included "Skinny" without any bun & just one veggie option without involving bean burger. It instead offers goats cheese, portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, aioli & spinach. Iceberg Wedge.....nice. It also gives you an option of skinny fries as well as traditional potato wedges.
I’d heard great things about Byron and was excited when a cousin suggested we all have lunch there. There are several Byron outlets across London and we’d chosen the one at Covent Garden as
the gizz-mo is what happens when food writer, tv presenter and chef gizze erskine meets a moustache in the byron kitchen. it is a rather manly combination of good minced beef with a minimum of handling, judiciously spiced and cooked medium rare. it is then topped with a welsh rarebit topping and the classic burger adornments - a thick slice of buffalo tomato, a red onion sliced thin to tone down it's aggression and a little lettuce. all this sits between a soft white bun. byron serves all its burgers with a pickle on the side.
Most importantly they get the fundamentals right. The burgers are tasty, fresh and well prepared to a consistent quality. Sides are high quality, grease free and tasty. The staff are universally happy, attentive and well drilled and the spaces while different are all clean and decorated to a similar simple formula.
Yes. I now have yet another place to satisfy my Gruyère cheeseburger fix, washed down by an A&W root beer float. Happy days! Byron is my favourite burger joint . It's Panu's favourite burger joint . So everyone should just like, go.
I've written before about my love of a good burger , yet for some reason it has taken me nearly 18 months to visit Byron . Trust me, the gap between my first and second trip will be somewhat shorter... Many plaudits have been bestowed on Byron and after m
Although I normally go for a nice juicy burger to this popular chain, this time a friend and I were craving a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream as a post lunch treat. We couldn't think of any other spot in the area to go to but remembered the dessert menu at Byron, and it hit the spot!
It was super busy when we went (1:30pm), it was just our luck that there was just one table free for two.
We ordered the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream; I specifically asked if it was warm and the waiter said yes. However it came cold! We let the waiter know, and he sent the two brownies back. We got new, warm ones with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
It satisfied my craving, so I was happy I went!
There is always a fear that when a restaurant goes from something independent and expands into a chain, they lose their identity and ethos and as a result, just becomes something quite ordinary. Thus was my fear with the evolution of Byron Burger.
I still remember my first fondly - it was a cheeseburger in their Leicester Square branch about 4 years ago. At the time, burgermania was just on the cusp of taking over London and Byron was fast becoming someone to be reckoned with. That first bite was special - actually quite memorable. At the time I would've said it was the best burger I'd had in London.
With time though, things change and develop - Byron has taken over London and I've had a few too many burgers -and over the past few years my relationship with Byron has been rocky with some real hits but also some real misses. It felt like there was a lack of consistency which meant I didn't have confidence in getting the product I so desperately longed for from my visit to Byron - the feeling of that first burger.
Countless Byron visits and burgers consumed came up naught and so on this particular visit, I wasn't expecting much - little did I know that what laid ahead would make me a mega Byron fan once more.
The Shady burger is part of a series of special burgers Byron drawing inspiration from their travel through the States and sees a return back to basics - 6 oz burger, american cheese, crispy cheese, pickle relish, onions and ketchup. Put as simply as its components, it is amazing and the best Byron I've had in a long time. Everything just works. Heaven in a bun!
Courgette chips as a side dish proved to be the right call too on this occasion - a great compliment.
I would strongly suggest anyone to go and get it while it's there. It's made a believer out of me again.

Probably the best burger I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The burgers are cooked to medium as standard, but can be cooked to others request. I stuck with medium, and the burger was moist, juicy and still pink in the middle. The cheese was beautiful, and the whole burger a delight to eat. The skin on chips were morish, and the side of Macaroni Cheese was nice, if not a little on the cool side. All in all, reasonably priced burger place that won't let you down.
I’m not usually a burger person, but I have to admit that the burger I had at Byron was absolutely delicious, and I’m talking about a simple cheeseburger. The service was top-notch, and there’s really nothing to complain about when it comes to the friendly staff. The ambiance is wonderful, genuinely cozy, and well-decorated, with no unpleasant smell of cheap burger places. I would definitely recommend Byron and plan to come back for more.
This was the BEST burger I have ever eaten. I had the B-Rex with Bacon Cheese fries. I was exceedingly full, but soooo satisfied.
The staff was efficient and friendly. The food was magnificent. If you haven't had a Byron burger, you should change that!!!
What can I say! Amazing from the moment we stepped in the door. Staff a were an absolute credit to the place. Food was superb, all freshly cooked and the overall experience was top class. Myself and my wife popped in for dinner prior to a show at The Theatre Royal and we were not disappointed. Even though it was busy, the food was top quality and service was quick. I had the Double bacon and cheese burger which was tasty and the fries were second to none. My wife had the chicken burger which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Keep up the good work Byron Burger Covent Garden!
I really like their burgers, it's delicious, the meat is well grilled, the sauce is good, the staff are nice.
Everything we had here was brilliant. The cheeseburger was one of the best I've ever had. Fries and chicken fingers were very good as well. This place is perfect for what it is - a quick bite and a juicy burger.
Quiet night only a few tables and was not expecting to much. But... I am pleasantly surprised, great burger tasty side salad and Byron's own beer, very nice, very nice indeed, overall very tasty and would recommend.
Brilliant menu and if you want you can do away with the bun and have extra salad. Very quick and friendly service. The burger and halomi Fry's were delicious. If you go try one of their milkshakes, just fantastic. Service is included which I like. But....they don't offer coffee. Overall a great place for well cooked burgers and extras.
Good burger place near the Lyceum. The place stays open late, so quite handy to grab a bite after a late show at the theatre. I found the staff to be very helpful and welcoming. I had a refular cheese burger, it was good! Plenty of comfortable places to sit in.
Super friendly staff! Nice food as per usual, but the menu has been same the same for almost 5 years (maybe more?). Unfortunately doesn’t accept tips via the card machine when paying either.
Overall though, a lovely experience. I would recommend!
Burger was great, bun was a little dry or I would give 5 star. Onion rings and Mac & Cheese 🧀 delish!!
