Absolutely excellent quality of food and service. We were at the Chef’s table where you can watch the kitchen and are allowed to wonder around the kitchen whilst they are cooking. Would thoroughly recommend although save for a special occasion as it’s expensive!
Lovely place to visit with family and friends. Love the cocktails here food is delicious too. Will visit again soon.
Amazing place to hangout... rooftop deck area is really wow .. with great view of St. Paul cathedral and city skyline ... place has really great vibes.. good food drink and music too
A great restaurant with a spectacular view of London and St. Paul's Cathedral. Service is amazing. Had a good deal with the 3-course menu on a Sunday and the only downside is that the music is too loud.

At this time of year, a rooftop bar isn’t always a natural choice for a night out. However, this season, City of London drinking destination Madison have given their terrace a winter makeover. Their outdoor space has been turned into an enticing, cosy festive hideout, with a special winter drinks menu of hot aperitifs.
Impeccable gastronomy (the triple duck burger was wonderful), friendly atmosphere, impeccable service (our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive). An amazing place for any event, highly recommended
A very wow-feeling- giver restaurant !
The ambience is best I have yet seen in london!
It has an outdoor and a fine dining arrangement , perfect for bday’s or romantic dates! They have less variety of veg options in mains which was a little dissatisfactory!
I would recommend this place for sure to visit and see the whole view of london 😍
What’s not to love about this place ?
Amazing atmosphere, amazing music, good food, good drinks, decent prices and very friendly and helpful staff.
Enjoyed my experience at Madison’s and will definatly go back.
I give this place a five because it has one of the best views of London.. perfect for a drink after work!
Never been to the restaurant but the drinks are good.
Highly recommended!
Stumbled upon this place while visiting St. Paul's Cathedral, and absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous view! If day drinking is on your mind, this is 'The' place to visit!
We went just for drinks at the Terrace with a great view to St Paul's cathedral. The prices are ok (for London) and the service is great. We didn't had time to try the restaurant but we were told the food is good, not to talk about the view you have from there! Totally recommend for a drink after work!
Amazing place to have drinks or even to have diner! I totally recommend this place to everyone, nice people, beautiful people, great atmosphere! Will come back.
This is an amazing place to hangout and chill with friends and offers spectacular views of the city( St. Paul's , shard ). The roof terrace has amazing ambience and is also open late. Also, it's not too expensive ...so it's one of the finest chill out places in central london
Loved everything about Madison👌
Rooftop bar, stunning view of St Pauls, cool vibe and music, delicious food, and considering all of this it comes at a reasonable price😊
Uno dei miei posti preferiti di Londra, mi ha lasciato davvero senza parole.
Cocktail buonissimi e vari, preparati con cura, vista pazzesca sulla cupola di st Paul.
Davvero ben frequentato.
Drink consigliati: pornstar Martini, frozen margarita, mojito
Went here for a drink on a Saturday night. Was happy to be able to walk straight in and not have to queue or reserve a table. Drinks were very reasonably priced and the view talks for itself!
This bar/restaurant lies on the top floor of One New Change with beautiful views over St Pauls. Lovely outside area with sofas and blankets in the winter. Tip: you can come up to see the views for free but if you stay for a drink a house white bottle is only £20!
Try the rabbit popcorn, it is great. The sauce needs some work but the ball is very good. Main was an excellent roll with scallops. View is fantastic.
Madison is a great place to chill out in the sun and enjoy some great food whilst overlooking London.
One of my favourite places to go on a Thursday evening after work or even a sunny Friday lunchtime. The terrace outdoors is just beautiful with a stunning view of St Paul's. My preference is the tapas bar which is on the left as you exit the area - I prefer it to the Champagne bar on the right hand side. Excellent dishes and not a bad choice of wine. My favourite combo? Rose, olives and the sun...
Beautiful view amazing service fantastic music. And absolutely best food in the city.
Superb night out with your friend!!!
Best to book a table to avoid the waiting to go up.
A quiet little haven above the hustle and bustle of the streets and shopping below, the roof terrace opens out on to a wide area flanked by the cocktail bar on one side and the restaurant on the other.
We were here for drinks, particularly as I seem to have an ongoing 'thing' for drinking in high places, and they didn't disappoint. I was a bit indulgent and had three cocktails - two from the menu, the Stawberr'Le and the M, and then asked them to craft me an espresso martini. All were perfectly balanced and very moreish - although perhaps a little dangerous for the start to the week.
The weather yo-yoed so we yo-yoed back and forth inside and out, watching the sun set over St Paul's and the rest of the beautiful London skyline. I nipped into the restaurant briefly, where there's big sofas to recline on and a range of brasserie food and tapas dishes on offer. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable (for location and the view) and the company was great too.
Madison gets four and a half out of five.
Located in an amazing area this place possesses a magnificent view. They have a great variety of cocktails to choose from. The pricing is reasonable and this place is pocket friendly. The food is served in an elegant environment and this place is very well ventilated. Very hygienic. Recommended thoroughly.
This place is in sync with the concept of rooftop bars that is catching up these days. The view from the top was a treat for the eyes. The service is prompt and I enjoyed myself with a drink in my hand. The cocktails that are being offered are very interesting. You would not mind paying the service charge for the prompt service that you get.
We came to this place to meet our family and enjoy a drink or maybe two before we head to some other place for dinner. But we ended up on gorging some beautiful tapas along with nice and refreshing cocktails. The view from this place is also very spectacular. Highly recommended!
It is a authentic French restaurant on a rooftop that offers excellent food and view but at a hefty price. The food is delicious. the atmosphere is classy, sophisticated and rich. They offer you a complimentary glass of wine when you enter which is more than welcome since you pay through your nose for the meal.
This place provides a very spectacular view, perhaps the best in the city. Do go here if you are looking for an early evening drink. It has some really delicious cocktails priced reasonably. The dinner here is quite delicious as well and does not disappoint. The service is quite quick and efficient as well. Definitely recommended.
The decor of this place is very interesting and quite unique. The view is very spectacular, looking right across the London eye. I found the place to be quite comfortable and relaxing. The seating areas are always quite packed. The food here is quite delicious and full of unique flavours, even vegetarian food! Do try the lobster. The service is impeccable. Definitely recommended.
This place is truly for making memories. The decor is stunning. Atmosphere is classy and enticing. This place is perfect for choice to have formal dinners or a great time with your friends. Coming to the downsides, some of the drinks are unreasonably priced while relatively it is available at cheaper rates around!
If you hear people complaining about the over priced menu then tell them what else can you expect from a place that is at one of the prime locations of the city and gives you the pleasure to enjoy the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. You are sure to witness really long queues but do not be perturbed by that because the polite and calm staff is going to take good care of that. I enjoyed my drink while glancing at the city from the rooftop. The only disappointment for me was the fact that they are not open till late.
The place is a great hangout spot during winter-time and offers an incredible view of the city. It is cramped up sometimes. The food is a bit overpriced. The food is also absolutely delectable and extremely delicious. It is a great place if you want to go on a date. I would definitely recommend it.
The place is an excellent rooftop bar which offers a spectacular view of the city. The place usually doesn't charge even if you just want to come here for the view without having any drink or food. The atmosphere here is quite good and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this place for a great time and great view.
This place is a must visit because of its beautiful views. You will want to go here again and again because of the sheer beauty that you get to experience from the top. Had it not been for the over priced menu I would have visited this place more often. On a Friday evening it gets a little difficult to find a place to be seated because it seems that everyone wants to come here.
The concept of a rooftop bar is catching up and this one is one place that you should visit when you are in the mood to chill out with friends. The view from the top is beautiful and will earn some brownie points for this place. The music in the background was a hit with me and the menu which included cigars, drinks and tapas was amazing. Go visit this weekend with your gang of friends.
This place brought with it a bag of mixed emotions. With a very tasty and refreshing cured meat, what we found disappointing was the vegetables served with the calamari as they were very dry.
If you plan on visiting this place, don't be very hopeful about the snacks platter as it might disappoint you to a great extent.
This place has to its disposal a beautiful view, which makes the overall experience all the more pleasurable. The food may not be the best, however, the cocktails sure are! It is worth being visited at least once as it will surely leave behind a good mark on your mind.
Perfect location for roof terrace cocktails and they know it. Having said that, the prices are cheaper than some similar photo opportunity bars. The food is probably better value while still being pricey. I opted for the braised neck of lamb with gratin potatoes and enjoyed it enough to wish I was able to afford a starter and dessert to go with it.
The views alone of St. Pauls cathedral from this rooftop bar makes madison worth a visit. The menu is fairly pricey for both food and alcohol , but as a special occasion or treat this place is definitely recommended. The food is delicious but the star attraction for me was the pornstar martini. A must try.
This rooftop bar has great views of London, and is by far the best attraction of the place. I went for a quick drink and some snacks. The salmon was very average, and lacked flavour.
However, we had drinks at the bar after and the atmosphere here was much better. We visited on a nice summer's day, and shared a bottle of wine while looking at the great views of London. Brilliant experience, and will definitely be returning for drinks, however not for the food!
Located on the rooftop of One New Change, overlooking the beautiful St Paul's cathedral, this restaurant has one of the most breathtaking views that London has to offer.
I went there for lunch, and although it took some time to get our food, it was satisfactory. I had the poussin and my friend had the burger. My plate had nothing special, a part from the fact that it was a poussin, and it was the first time that I ate that, but there was nothing memorable about it. My friend's burger however looked and actually was very tasty.
It was a bit expensive for what it was, the portions were a bit small, but I guess you don't only pay for the food but also for the view. So yeah, I would go there every day if I could, the view is breathtakingly peaceful.
Tip: don't go there after 4:30pm, otherwise you won't find anywhere to sit, and it will be too crowded to be able to enjoy the view.
This is a really good restaurant! The food is very well prepared, cooked to perfection. The place looks amazing, the decoration and most of all the view. The view from up there is amazing! What’s nice about this place too, is that you can ether just got there for a drink or stay for dinner. The patio area is super cool and the drinks are really good! Definitely recommend this place. The only down side could be that it does get quite busy, so if ever you know you want to go there for dinner make sure to make a reservation!
A rooftop terrace in the heart of the City of London with stunning views of the iconic St Paul's Cathedral. Presiding high over streets treaded by hurried London professionals, Madison offers a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable sofas and good food for an after-work meeting with friends and colleagues.
Chicken with jalapeno was super tasty. The food portions are generous- so be careful while ordering!
Brilliant atmosphere, fancy style, nice cocktails and a marvelous view towards St Paul's Cathedral from top floor-you are a fan of all of that, Madison restaurant is the perfect choice for you. The location is central, it has outside places for drinks and an inside restaurant appropriate for dinners. The time spent there is memorable since the whole atmosphere lets you enjoy the time with your friends to the fullest. The only down side I would point is the price-some of the drinks are overpriced in comparison to other restaurants in Central London.
Rather than that, it is a perfect place to save your memories in a fancy style.
Amazing view of St. Pauls from the rooftop! Love the ambiance.
Place with stunning views over London, the place is on an open air terrace with a small restaurant with very limited food choices but beautiful ambience. nice place for a romantic evening out.
Since the place is not the biggest, make sure to book in advance.
Sleek bar offering large variety of drinks and tap beer. The crowd consist very young and fashionable people.
The view of St Paul's from here is simply stunning. It's almost like switching your HD on; you could see the imposing dome with crystal clear clarity.
We had gone for an office get together so had an area reserved. The place was packed even on that Wednesday, so I can imagine how popular this can get on Thursday and Friday. There is seating available at the terrace as well which on a sunny day would surely be THE place to be. There is no restriction on using the terrace, so even if you don't intend to going to Madison, it is a great scenic spot.
We had ordered platters, which though expensive, did not live up to the standard. The place sells like hot cake for the views and nothing else.
For a view of central London, you really have to try to beat the roof terrace at the One New Change shopping centre next to St. Paul's cathedral. The huge terrace contains the Maddison Restaurant and Maddison Cocktail and Tapas Bar, both of which take full advantage of the fantastic view.
The Maddison Restaurant is upmarket and refined inside, and though its interior lack soul, as you'll be gazing out of the window this hardly matters. The food is great if expensive and the range of wines and cocktails is great. The Cocktail and Tapas Bar is a much smaller affair, with outdoor seating on the terrace. The range of cocktails available is pretty good, and the bar staff are pretty good at mixing your fave. I've yet to try the tapas, but friends who have tell me it's pretty good.
If your budget doesn't stretch to an expensive dinner or cocktail, you can head up to the terrace on the sixth floor for free! Just hit button six in the lift.
Amazing location with one of the best views of St Paul's in London. This place is situated in the One New Change shopping center and is very easily accessible if you work in the city. The atmosphere on the terrace is great during the summer as one can stand on top of St Paul's and enjoy the view. Food is mostly Tapas style and was very good-although a bit pricey.
Beautiful place with Stunning view! We came for a brunch, for £35 it was definitely worth it. Starters were lovely, chicken Parmesan was not seasoned properly but our wonderful waiter Javier took care of that. Deserts were divine, strongly recommend the prison fruit sphere. Terrace for drinks was super lovely as well and even though I was bit worried about the live music, it wasn’t loud at all and created a nice ambiance. Thank you Jamie and Javier for taking care of us!
I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say it's conveniently located near the church close to bank underground station. The outdoor seating offers a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The drinks were decent 15£ per cocktail, and the four-hour journey accompanied by good music made it an enjoyable experience. On average, it costs around £100 per person.
However, what made the visit truly special was our waiter, Jamie/Javier.His exceptional service elevated the entire dining experience. I highly recommend requesting him to ensure top-notch service. Overall, a delightful dining spot with great ambiance and attentive staff.
Being from Manchester maybe a bit more pricey than use to but we had a great experience for my Mrs birthday, everyone from the doorman, staff hostesses and waiters and management were all very welcoming and were great! Loved the food and the atmosphere and the views are so good, thank you for a good night!!
Visited on Saturday night with my partner to celebrate his 30th birthday, and we were amazed. The scenery is gorgeous, sat in the middle of the restaurant and still caught views of the London skyline throughout sunset, and the interior of the restaurant itself is designed beautifully. The food was beautiful - well cooked, always arrived at the perfect temperature, came very quickly and was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiters were very attentive to make sure the glasses were always topped up. The menu itself had PLENTY of options to choose from for both food and drink, and because they have a set menu, you know the food will always taste great because they're cooking it so frequently. Definitely recommend the trio of desserts recommended for 2 because everything on that plate went down a treat! Both fillet steak and swordfish steak were done amazingly and their starters are incredible - the chicken pancakes & mixed mezze were done incredibly well.
A big thank you to our host for the evening Jhoel - his service was excellent, very friendly and was there if ever we needed him without him ever coming across as intrusive into our evening. You were brilliant. Will definitely be returning.
Beautiful views of St Paul's and across London. Food was served beautifully and quickly by staff. The cocktails were yummy. The stakes were good quality and cooked well. Also has bar area with more views and music playing/a dj
Came here for my birthday, incredible experience with a. Live DJ overlooking the London skyline at night with a brilliant view of St Paul’s.
Our waiter, Giorgio looked after us very very well, and even gave me a free glass of champagne for my birthday! We hope he serves you when you visit!

It was my birthday, and my partner took on the responsibility of finding a perfect venue to celebrate. He made a brilliant decision by selecting Madison, as he accurately perceived it to be the kind of place that would resonate with me, and his intuition proved to be absolutely correct.
Now, let me take you on the journey to this remarkable venue. To reach it, you'll walk through a small smart shopping mall type space then hop into an ultra-modern, swanky lift , which takes you to the 6th floor. The lift opens onto the roof top , a partially open space, surrounded by the cityscape and jaw-dropping views of St. Paul's Cathedral. Absolutely breathtaking! A few steps to your right and you'll discover a closed area which offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere. So, whether you prefer to bask in the open space, taking in the stunning views or cozy up in the closed area for a more intimate experience, this venue offers the best of both worlds. Its a versatile space which caters to different preferences and moods.
The food was downright amazing! The sheer creativity and skill showcased in the food was mind blowing. Every bite was a celebration of culinary excellence. From the first bite to the last, the flavours hit just right . It is evident that the chefs poured their heart and soul into every creation.
The bar / restaurant area team definitely know how to pamper their guests . They embody the essence of exceptional service. The venue was busy however they made us feel like we were their only guests. Throughout the evening, they regularly checked in to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction. These guys treated us like royalty. It felt like they intended to make my birthday special and they succeeded ! The team in all their thoughtfulness, took the time to write a happy birthday message on my dessert. It was a small gesture, but it meant so much to me. Thank you guys
for making my birthday memorable.

Thank me later .
Very high end place!
Chilled house music in the background, beautiful interior and views.
Food was amazing!! If you want flavour come here!!
Only negative was the starter was abit bland and not to my liking. It’s also very pricey!
Overall 100% recommend for a classy meal/ drinks.
Good vibes great views of the city. It has the famous elevator that you take the amazing video of St Paul’s from.
Always a good spot for a drink with friends on a summer evening.
Terrace has a great view of the city and food is remarkable! Very friendly and helpful staff too. Avin who served our table was very kind and amicable. Thank you! We’d definitely come back here again.
Madison had a really good vibe, the food was great, cookie dough was so heavenly and the view was absolutely amazing. All the staffs were really friendly, kind and helpful. Especially Avin who was serving us was brilliant. We were so glad about the heater outside it was a little chilly so it was a plus point from us. Overall we really enjoyed dining at Madison and would come back again.
A wonderful late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Food fantastic, Adarsh wonderfully attentive and accommodating when we needed to change tables due to the threat of rain. All together a fabulous place. Will come again.
A cute rooftop restaurant with a cosy vibe. Loved the heaters in the terrace, it made the whole experience way more comfortable since the weather was on the cold side. Avin our server, was a big help as well and provided excellent service.
Great place for a change of scenario when you explore summer roof tops. Bar with attentive staff -( so when I have returned for a second drink they offered my water and asked to return in 10 minutes ) however best old fashioned with mescal.
Amazing experience! Loved every bite, the service was amazing, Sam was very attentive and we enjoyed everything, especially the cocktails and the views!
I came here on a Sunday evening with no issues getting in. It was right before sunset and the view of St. Paul's was like no other!
The vibe was festive and the variety of cocktails AND mocktails were impressive.
Highly recommend!
Good view and friendly staffs. Dry aging steak was better than Pasta. Fries were not worth price. My starter salmon was delicious.
If you have drink with reservation, you probably can sit sofa next to window with best view of St. paul. Our seat was in outside.
PS: do reservation online!
