A visit to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is an experience in itself, not a meal alone. The restaurant has a a Gin Bible at its bar and can certainly boast of the largest gin and tonic menu. Sample the Dorothy Perkins for certain. Other than that, it also has a list of finely crafted cocktails with unique blends rarely seen elsewhere.

The food is, let's put it in a layman's word, stunning! Myriad flavours bursting through on the palette, whatever you ask for, even if it's a simple leafy salad. The cured mackerel paté, the pork cheek, the Dorset crab are recommended among the starters. We had the cod steeped in the umami broth, undoubtedly the freshest cod I have ever had in all my life.

The restaurant chain is non-profit as all profits go into the Jamie Oliver's Foundation. The service is attentive and personalised. The lighting is romantic, but the atmosphere is casual, the setting is rustic. If you are visiting London, a meal at Fifteen is on the prescription. Cost for a couple- approx GBP 120.

After Jamie’s Italian, we decided to visit Fifteen. Here our expectations were higher and more sophisticated. And they were perfectly met.


For starter – the jowl – very crispy and extraordinary absorbing. For main dishes: a short rib and a venison – both perfect. Especially "my" short rib – absolutely adorable. FOOD I can recommend whole-heartedly.

Scratches? A. was not able to carve his venision with his extremely dull knife – frustrating in a such place, isn’t it? And space between the tables was… absent. Somebody almost putting his butt into your food is very tasteless – I would prefer to wait longer for possibility to book the table than to fill like a very small sardine in a very crowded tin.

Without above cons I would give 5, because this experience was definitely exceptional.

Awesome place, cool and creative menu.. service was excellent and staff is super friendly!
We had the short rib croquettes, crab starter with dill, their homemade bread and the beetroot and trout main course, sadly they were out of gnocchi... all was very good and the prices are super fair... at least you can have wine without being ripped off!

I can't be really sure if it's all about my love and respect to Jamie or the food's delish taste but I wholeheartedly love this place in every way. The ambiance, the smell of desserts, the location, the culture of London... Keep being amazing Fifteen!

A really nice experience! You get excited after you tried the starters (you get the first touch of how the restaurant plays with food), a lot of different flavors in one single dish, playing around with smokiness and chard flavors. The mains we're slightly disappointing and the only reason why the restaurant doesn't deserve full marks. Although it may seem that many dishes in the menu are complex and flavorful, others like the risotto or the gnochi are too simple and way below the restaurant's standard. Finally the deserts are by far the best part of the meal. The best ones I have ever had, full of different interesting components, definitely a must!

I  always wanted to try one of Jamie Oliver's reataurants. After some research, we decided on Fifteen, and it did not disappoint one bit. Not only was the restaurant beautifully decorated, the staff was wonderful and the food was perfect. I had the crispy duck leg with lentil salad and my boyfriend the short rib pie. Both perfect. To drink, as a suggestion, I had the apple, lime and ginger coolie. It was so good, I would gladly have drank 5 of those. Afterwards we were too full for desert, but they all looked like delicious works of art.

Ok I am a huge jamie oliver fan!! So when I was travelling took this opportunity to dine here and it was the special occasion of my friends bday! The place is warm and homely and the staff pleasant. We decided to the ala carte and started off wit a bottle of reisler along wit Dorset crab and duck croquettes.. omg duck was to die for. We followed that by the gnocchi which just melted in your mouth and then proceeded to the short rib which was slow cooked and tender. The portions were small but we were full. We followed thay up wit dessert and it was very sweet of them to personalise it with a happy bday wish. Thank you jamie for the experience. From watch you on tv to eating at your restaurant.. Wat an experience! Cherry on the cake would hav been seeing you... maybe next time ;-)

What a fantastic gem. I don't usually venture to what can be considered as fine dining places but this was a great surprise. The food was fantastic and not what I expected at all. The staff were great. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious seasonal food and stellar service. I can see why JO's Fifteen is a classic - the basics were done oh so well and little touches elevated it immediately to one of my favourite British restaurants in London!

Our party of 9 was seated right by the gleaming open kitchen, offering the perfect view of the poetry in motion within. We were given ample time and assistance with decisions, including on my lactose intolerance.

I started with the crispy pork cheek with Clarence Court egg, kimchi and apple. I hope to meet this dish again in my dreams - it's one of the best things I've eaten all year. The mix of textures and flavours melded perfectly and left me scraping my plate.

It was a tough act to follow but the short rib with Chanterelle mushrooms did an admirable job. It melted in the mouth and the flavours were also right on point.

I was too stuffed for dessert but those who could manage it also cleaned their plates. I'll be back for more!

Mesmo localizando-se numa zona de Londres um pouco afastada do centro, a visita ao Fifteen, do chef Jamie Oliver, era obrigatória! Acompanhámos o programa televisivo que passou, há uns anos, no nosso país e identificámo-nos, desde logo, com o conceito do mesmo, em especial no que toca às oportunidades dadas a quem merece e na doação total dos lucros para a fundação . Além disso, admiramos o trabalho que Jamie tem vendo a realizar junto das comunidades no que respeita à melhoria da qualidade alimentar.

Fizemos a marcação por email e fomos muito bem recebidos, logo à chegada.

O espaço é acolhedor e rústico, com alimentos pendurados expostos, apelando de imediato às papilas gustativas. Contudo, apesar de saborosa, a comida não nos surpreendeu. Talvez porque estivéssemos com as expetativas demasiado elevadas.

We went to 15 I a group of about 22 so had asset menu which make assessing the menu vey difficult. The starters were smoked mackerel with fennel and pickled rhubarb as well as Cured beef with golden beetroot and horseradish. Both dishes were tasty and plentiful. The mains were Roast chicken with crispy potato cakes as well as smoked haddock with kohlrabi. All the dishes were tasty and plentiful but presentation was simple as it was served in big platters for the table. The atmosphere was great with wonderful waitrons. We had the pleasure of sitting opposite the kitchen and watching the many chefs at work was wonderful. All in all a great experience. Well done Jamie, I am a fan😀

I made a reservations for lunch on zomato, actually loved this function.

We arrived to a warm welcome, shown to our table efficiently. The restaurant feels corporate, great for businessmen with meetings. Elegant and smart.

We had a bottle of still water, a home made cream soda and a home made ice tea to start. The bartender mixed it professionally behind the bar. :) I really liked the cream soda, it was interesting. Even the foam on top was sparkling/fizzy.

We were presented with the menu and recommended to try the tasting menu if we wanted to experience the dishes, we all decided to go for the 3 course lunch so we can try all the dishes, with oysters as an extra starter.

The oysters was interesting and looked amazing, it was refreshing but I found it too icy, there's too much crushed ice on top of the oyster.

Starters, cauliflower soup, mint vinaigrette and croutons were amazing, loved the creamy and flavor combination, it was well seasoned, and not too salty.
Delicious.
Short rib was tender and wonderful flavours.
The Clarence court egg was perfectly pouched, soft centre when we cut through it, however I did not notice the smoked cod's roe.

Main, the braised duck leg with jeRusalem artichoke and watercress was my favorite for mains, it fell off the bone, nice and tender.

We also ordered two sides just to try, the winter leaf salad with house dressing was ordinary, but the crispy potato cake with roasted garlic aioli was very interesting and tasty.

The desserts were very nice, well presented and my favorite was the blood orange sorbet with mint granite, wow, this was very tasty. And it was everyone's favorite.

The restroom was downstairs and surprisingly, you get to see the talented chefs and the kitchen downstairs too, there is a whole section of tables, would not have imagined or seen it if I didn't go to the restroom.

There are personal preferences to the dishes, there were likes and dislikes, but over all, spot on with services, Definitely a good experience of food, and a good afternoon.

I booked a table for my friend's birthday and we both had the tasting menu. The food was appealing. It was really enjoyable 3 hours dining experience! It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was full, but the service was brilliant! Just the right amount of time between courses, and the food was delicious. I had the best birthday! We will come back again.

As a final treat in London prior to our departure back towards Montreal, we made a reservation at one of Jamie Oliver’s restaurant, Fifteen. Located in central London, Fifteen’s claim to fame is their “non-profit” status. All profits from the restaurant go to the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. On top of that, the restaurant has an apprentice programme which provides challenged youth with training and mentorship in the food industry. A very cool and worthwhile project within a high-end restaurant. Located on a weird, almost dead-end street that is very easy to miss, Fifteen is a beautiful space. The main floor has a nice bar and lounge space which was quite busy when we arrived for our reservation. Visually, I really loved the space – great use of the old brick walls subtly accented by dark wood counters, leather seats and metal tables. The low lighting, when mixed with the music and chatter from the bar/lounge area, created a cool speakeasy type vibe. We were seated in the basement area right in front of the open kitchen – which was cool in order to observe the work being done over the course of the evening. The primary downside however was that the ambience that was present upstairs was less so by the kitchen – I was more aware of the wait staff and kitchen staff buzzing around us retrieving plates. First we ordered a basket of their home-made sourdough with butter. I absolutely love sourdough bread so I couldn’t resist trying it. Nice crunch on the crust but still moist and fluffy on the inside. Had that classic sourdough taste as well. This was a great start of the meal for me. On to the starters now, I went with the crispy pig’s cheek with slow cooked egg, goldrush apple and kimchi. I was rather intrigued by the combination of ingredients as listed on the menu and how they would mix together. The answer is perfectly. Fifteen. Yes. Have had a cocktail here before but now they've opened up the bar as a kind of casual-eating trattoria. Went as a part of a large party. Stylish, tasty and much attention to detail. [Waiter was a bit too camp for my liking. Why do they do that?] We had the Christmas menu. Someone had a splinter of shank-bone in his Lamb Ragú, but as far as I'm aware the cost was deducted from them bill. They could have offered a Limoncelo as a sweetener, but that didn't happen. In the end everybody left happy. Had a bottle of Gavi di Gavi that was excellent.

As a group of four, we were lucky to sample nearly the whole menu. Booked a month in advance to make sure we'd fit in our Jamie experience before heading home to Australia.

Great Food and service.... But, it didn't wow me. Being "the" Jamie Oliver restaurant, my expectations were very high. The gnocchi were the best and lightest I had ever had...that was by far the highlight of the meal. Beautiful space as well.

Nice food, but slightly pricey. I liked this restaurant... the food was good, the service was good, I remember the olives that were given to start were the biggest, juciest and greenest I have ever tasted... but I think I expected more from Jamie...!
Price-wise I think I was expecting something more along the lines of a Gordon Ramsey, where you really feel you are in for a treat... the food was good but not innovative, and the restaurant itself felt a little bit casual, which would have been fine if the prices were also casual.
Overall a good meal though!

I've eaten in the brasserie a few times. Perfect Italian food, I loved the gorgonzola and pear gnocchi. Breakfast is really good too.

We go for Antipasti. My wife and I often go just for a few Antipasti, i love the Bruschetta with crab and zucchini and my wife loves the Carpaccio of salmon with an amazing salad. we love it.

Overall a wonderful meal, that was tasty and was reasonably priced for central London.

Serving rustic and simple italian food conjured up by Jamie's apprentices. The atmosphere delivers a romantic, sophisticated yet relaxing feel in conjunction with fantastic and friendly service. There are two main restaurants located in Fifteen, one called Restaurant serving a variety of dishes (more fine dinning) and Trattoria, serving a very limited menu, well executed, delivering flavours that will get your taste buds dancing!

As always, there was a flurry of books publication just before Christmas and a great number of them are cookery books. I can never understand why people would crack their head at coming out with the bestselling thriller when a collection of recipes (even mediocre ones) would do the trick. People would be surprised to know that other than J.K. Rowling (of Harry Potter series) Jamie Oliver is one of the all time bestselling British authors. Never thought that the bunch of teenage wizards at Hogworts would be matched by some roasted chicken, would you? A fictitious story can only stretch so far without the author running out of ideas but the same cannot be said of a recipe. Fifteen is a beautifully designed trattoria so it was casual enough that I could get in without a reservation. There are two levels, and I sat on the main floor between a bar in the back and next to an open kitchen where the apprentices (wearing white hats because there are professional chefs; they wear black hats) were working hard prepping dishes.

If you're looking for a good place to have dinner, you must visit this place "Fifteen" by Jamie Oliver. They start at 6 o'clock, you can visit early and sit at the bar sipping cocktail, wine or beers. Their bartenders are so nice, everyone's friendly and done a great job for me. In the pictures, I chose Jersey rock oysters followed by Lamb shoulder as starter and Braised rabbit for main dish ended up with Chocolate texture. Every single dish has a mild and delicate flavor as Jamie Oliver recipe. For the price ummm... I would say not too expensive but still a bit heeheee, but well, I guarantee you'll find all pleasing. (I recommend you to make a reservation before visit especially weekends) sorry if my english sucks :D

It was always on my list of places to visit but I never quite made it. I moved jobs and my new office was next  to the Old Street roundabout so it was fate that I had to try it out, so I finally went there on 26th Feb 2014 after some work drinks.

My colleague and I had the following:
1) Starter - Beef & Barley bun and horseradish cream (I didn't taste it but my colleague was raving about it)
2) Starter - Fennel Salami and pickles (average, nothing to special about it).
3) Mains - We both had the short rib and mash (this was fantastic).
4) Dessert - We both had baked chocolate with salted apple caramel (very nice indeed).
4) Two pints of beer and tap water.

All of this came to £100 for the two of us including service.

I like this place because of what it stands for, giving people the chance to get trained and build a career. You have to keep that in mind , food is good but can vary in quality as this a training school.

Very good Jamie Oliver's. Affordable, high quality food. Fantastic antipasti, delicious carpaccio, mozzarella, prosciutto and pretty much everything else...Went there a few times and I have never been disappointed. The only annoying aspect is its business. Due to its quality, it's often busy and could be a bit noisy. I do recommend this place though.

When people think of Jamie's restaurants you might think its above the average price range for food, but its NOT! its perfectly affordable, and as you might expect, the food quality is fantastic. He always has a great range of anti pasti platters for starters and great Italian mains.
The staff are great, although I was under the impression it was almost like a fast food joint the way they wanted to turn their tables over, and get their customers in and out...

The food here is simply incredible! We had the five course taster menu and they brought us little taster treats in between those too. The staff were wonderful, explaining each course to us in detail. Everything is seasonal and presented beautifully. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a full eating experience. The cocktails were also amazing. I could've stayed here all day.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and very good food. My main course (Jerusalem artichoke) was the best restaurant meal I had in a very long time... Amazing, absolutely delicious. The other courses were also very tasty and with quality ingredients! I highly recommend a visit!

Very nice experience all around. The food was amazing combining different flavours and textures while being cohesive with a destingtive theme (we opted for the chefs choice 5 course menu) . The stuff was attentive and the service was relatively fast. Add those to the laid back vibe of the place and the subtle music choices and you have great end result.

Great experience!! We came in around 2030 and the upper floor was full with great atmosphere. We ordered the home bread, Burrata, Salmon and angalotti. The service was superb and helped us choose dishes that were perfect for us. The place isn't cheep but worth it.

It was a really pleasant experience, with a flavour trip based on the chef's choice, and that got to be very balanced and meaningfull. The staff simpathy and knowlegde was in line with our expectations. Our table waitress showed to be very well instructed about the menu and let us feel like home. The prices, although above the average, are acceptable due to the dishes and overall restaurant quality.

Thanks for a lovely lunch! Me n my friend had a great time and the food was delicious! And the service was amazing, the staff even gave us a surprise when we mentioned that we were celebrating our birthday! I’ll definitely come back if I’m in London again!

We were staying round the corner at Montcalm so decided to visit Fifteen for lunch. Their website mentions lunch for £15 but we were told there were no £15 specials that day. Starters are £8 to £12 and mains around £20 with sides £4 on top. No complimentary bread was given or offered. The restaurant was quiet but the food was lovely and the service good. We asked for the service charge of 12.5% to be removed as it didn't rock our world and this goes to Jamie Oliver's foundation not the staff. All in all a nice lunch.
