Pleasent restaurant with friendly staff. Super tasty fish&chips, good French wine and lovely desserts. The building is old but it has a charming decoration and lighting.
Cosy place, I love the fireplace; the staff was very kind and polite. I came for breakfast and ordered the almond granola with Greek yoghurt and pear. It was a beautiful light breakfast! Loved it.
Will return for sure, to try more of their food.
Everything about this place is lovely, from the staff to the food or even the ambience there's such a warm feeling about this place. We ordered the beef burger and the special of the day which was a crab & cod cake with truffle fries and a fresh salad. The food was lip smackingly good. A must try.
Cozy cozy interiors with a fireplace is too hard to resist. Great selection of wine and one of better beer battered fish and chips. Tarter suace and peas are good accomplices. I loved the color scheme and the service. Restaurant is very accessible while the roads are leading to the restaurant from the underground as just as good.
Sunday lunch for nine. Great roast beef and lamb. Service was prompt and attentive. Food excellent with a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely returning.
8/10:The best creme brulee in London. By a chance we went in and had nice meal and dessert on late sunday afternoon.
My husband had sunday roast(beef) and I had market fish . Roast beef was only two small sliced beef and lots of Vegeies on the plate. (£19.50!!) It was dissapointed, just too expensive. My fish was just Ok.
The highlight of the pub was the desserts! I had amazing creme brulee. Great job! to the chef. The venue was very cosy ,homely atomosphere. Very relaxed. The service was very very slow . Be aware....
It's good for friends or family meals who has time for 1.5hour-2hours.
I'll come back there for dessert!

The location is both a restaurant and a bar, with great food in a charming venue. Defitiely a must if you're in the neighborhood.
Good spot. Good food with friendly service, if your staying around this spot it's well worth dropping in, clean and uncomplicated.
Popped in for Sunday lunch, food was good and served promptly, tho the lamb was a little too fatty and a bit scarce on the roast potatoes. Service was friendly, but the pub is geared for food - table next to us got booted off as they weren't eating which led to an awkward stand off between the manager and customer. Good food, friendly service, avoid during food service if you just want a drink.
The menu is varied, with something for everyone I think. Starters include chicken liver parfait, soup and oysters. Main meals cater to the salad fans but also the meat lovers, and desserts well I’ll get to them in a bit, but last time I was here I labelled it my favourite dessert EVER, damn you raspberry ripple ice-cream and tart!
I visited the Grazing Goat for Sunday lunch with two Canadians, one of whom had never been to the UK. It did not disappoint. The food was sensational, the drinks flowed frequently and impressed my NYC and LA living guests (and it was a razor sharp operation from all staff offering them every 3 minutes) and the setting perfect.
A special shout out to Layla who has, in my mind, now become my first reference when thinking of that name over the Eric Clapton song. Quite an achievement. Not only was she incredibly attentive throughout, including managing to produce additional gravy and Yorkshire puddings (both delectable), but she also offered good places for my friends to go for dinner this evening.
An excellent performance from everyone all round and I will of course be returning on a regular basis.
Came here for brunch on a sunday morning. Menu selection is small but I think perfect to cater for all needs. Food was lovely, only reason it is a 4 is due to the fact that although there was only 2 more tables we waited approximately 20 minutes for our breakfast.
Giving this a 4 because the rooms were clean and pretty nice, which is the most important thing to me. Service was not great. I had a booking issue and had a lot of difficulty contacting them, and getting anyone to contact me back. I filtered for AC when booking and this showed up, but it DOES NOT have air conditioning - it has fans. So fair warning if booking in the summer. The decor was nice and a bit rustic, but very pretty. King size bed was good. It was quiet despite the pub downstairs (which was very busy so, I assume it is good). The location was good and very walkable. Recommended for a shorter stay when you don't need AC.
Best roast I've had in London recently! The ambience was great, I was served by the loveliest waitress who made sure we were topped up with water and happy with our food. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious - chicken cooked to perfection and great trimmings. I'd definitely come back!
This is a lovely restaurant in Marylebone.
We came here before going to the guided tour of the Wallace Collection (another mind boggling free British museum) to have Sunday roast lamb, the traditional thing, it being on my bucket list on this visit to London.
We had the full traditional roast and cauliflower cheese, between us. My husband also had the rabbit terrine which was good. Unusually for me, a staunch water consumer, I had the rhubarb lemonade, a wonderful soft drink.
In fact, all of it, the experience, the ambience and the food and drinks, were all lovely. The place itself is so cute both outside and in.
Service is really excellent and the experience was most enjoyable.
Highly recommended!
We had a lovely stay here. Excellent location! Nice room with everything you need and some extra luxuries like robes, nice toiletries. Cute bars and restaurants nearby, and walkable to all the sites. We had dinner our first night at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Would love to stay again!
Lovely place to stay in Central London. Only knocking off one point for noisy aircon fan outside window.
Room great. Food amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location.
We all had different main meals and all of them were excellent. Great service and the team were very helpful as we had a small child with us in the party. Would be happy to return for another meal
The chicken pie is what dreams are made of. Good service, great food! Also hit the flourless chocolate cake with salted caramel and hazelnut ice cream. Normally that's a pass for me, but the cake was spot on without being too sweet.
The chicken roast and the sides were amazing, great value for money and chicken was so soft. The beef roast was the opposite. The meat was tough and the portions were about 150g of tough and low quality meat. I was not impressed. Ambience was amazing, Nora was our waitress and she was honestly one of the best hosts I’ve ever had so sweet and helpful and got the orders right (they were complex orders). I’ll be back for the chicken roast!
