Was here long back while I visited London. An Indian restaurant located in the city of London. It's quite popular restaurant among the local people. During our London trip our tour guide explained a few things about this place and the experience was quite good.
We had few vegetarian as well as non vegetarian dishes. The taste was pretty good. I remember having some chicken gravy along with naans here. The preparations were good. So you may give this restaurant a visit, it's one of the good Indian restaurants in London.
our most favourite place at Liverpool street to order food from office .
They prepare very nice north indian food like Paneer lababdar,Malai kofta , dal makhani and breads .
We never get disappointment for food taste from this place.
An excellent place serving Indian food. The staff is very patient and friendly. There are cubicles made in the sitting area. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly.
I love this place as it is near to my office and at a very strategic location. The food quality is good but can be better. It bit expensive if you compare to other restaurants but again missing Indian food this is the place to visit. I liked the north indian platter/meal.
Bangalore Express has a good variety of Indian cousins on their menu. The food is delicious and the ambience is super cool. I would recommend their Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan as must try.
I have been here for my company annual day party.... had very good time here ... the place is very decent and very good service. I felt one of the good place to have indian good in London and I loved the taste of chicken tikka especially. Vegetarian must try there onion pakadaaa and non-veg you should try there Railway’s curry..
Over all a good place to have good indian food 🥘
If you are starving and out of your county and looking for a vegetarian food. This is a place you should visit.
I tried dall makhani (Black lentice ), Bangen bharta. Taste was nice and was not expecting food to be delicious.
Ambiance is really good but bit expensive. However , still good indian food in London is hard to find.
I tried thali for a single person and it's taste was quite close to the actual Indian food. Must visit if looking for good Indian food in London.
I am not a big fan of spicy , but here I found what I needed to try out some delicious indian plates and not to cry in the mean time. Delicious!
A very nice Indian restaurant in the City of London.. we enjoyed buffet lunch after a hectic city tour. Naan, uttappa, chatni, dal fry, rice, fruit custard, paneer Matar.. was a lovely experience.. saw a variety of Indian dishes which I never imagined before.. Prawn Dosa for example.. Do visit for the excellent staff service, good food and awesome ambience..
Absolutely delighted to have food here. Delicious Indian food. Very well maintained and food is awesome. Right from vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Spread over two floors. Service is quick and severs are cheerful. Loved it.
Good selection of cocktails and mocktailis as well.
It’s located right opposite to Leadenhall market in a lane. Spacious interiors. Fabulous mind soothing music was on. The menu has various options from Kannada food to pan Indian dishes. Thali options are satisfying to have all in one plate. Staff were courteous. Very genuine taste and served fresh and hot. Definitely worth going for spicy and original Indian food experience.
Exceptional service, alcoholic drinks were good and in food the appetizers were absolutely delicious, the main course was decent. Recommend the ghee chicken, king prawn and malai chap in apps. Main dishes you can try the chicken lababdar but the butter chicken was too sweet and biryani was decent. I would go back for the appetizers.
Amanda made our day!
My husband and I had been traveling all day and wanted to find dinner near our hotel. We walked in and we’re immediately greeted by friendly and super kind Amanda. We were hooked. After that, it was easy-ordered food and it was fantastic. From wait time to service to food-it was fantastic. Highly recommend!
We had an outstanding lunch experience at Bangalore Express in London. Although the restaurant specializes in South Indian cuisine, we took our server's recommendation to try the North Indian thali. We were not disappointed—the platter was a delightful assortment of Bombay Aloo, Yellow Dal, Yogurt, Paneer Makhani, Garbanzo Beans, Coconut Corn, and Halwa, accompanied by Samosa, Papadam, Rice, and Chapati. Every dish was a burst of flavor and the service was prompt and attentive. The pricing was also very reasonable. We can't wait to return to this culinary gem!
Not all dishes from the menu were available, but the ones that were, were delicious. The (men's) toilets were beautiful. This restaurant was full of indian people, which says enough. There's plenty of tables downstairs by the way.
Delicious food! What a pleasant surprise right in the heart of the city. Perfect place for a wonderful meal after work!
Visiting Bangalore Express was a delightful experience! When you live in texas there aren’t many restaurants or variety of dishes in comparison to London. If you are coming to try something new, Bangalore has an overwhelming amount of variety in the best way possible. If you can’t take the spice, they have milder options that are just as tasty such as the pista chicken (mild korma curry with pistachio). If you don’t know what to get just ask Alex and he will show you some great recommendations. If you are hungry they can definitely satisfy your appetite if not leave you taking to go boxes home to have late night leftovers. Thank you again. -Happy Texans
Five stars are not enough.
The quality and flavour of the food are superb.
We have the chance to chat and get a detailed explanation of the process to make this amazing dishes, some of the fishes for example are marinated 48hs, and I can tell you that when you tried taste like nothing that you had before. The classic Indian chutneys take a twist and let you experiment a completely new range of flavours. Any particular dish have is own distinctive character, I believe that is a place to re discover in any visit.
After eat so many different dishes seasoned to the perfection I can't make justice simply writing a review.
Is more than just a place to eat, it is an experience where you will feel welcome and part of a culture, the essence of Indian traditions in the heart of the City of London.
Must Try…
The food was very tasty and good quality. We tried idli Sambar , Chicken Thali and Mutton Dry Thali. Lamb thali is worth a try. After a very long time had Sambar closer to served in Mumbai. The price is a big higher but considering central london located make a fair deal
Service the waiter need to pay more attention on the customer rather then been involved among themselves
