My favourite fried chicken place in London. Takeaway also available. My go to is the chicken tenders with seaweed crack and some dripping fries. The seaweed crack is some sort of incredible seasoning and I wish I knew the secret recipe. As the name says, they do sours, whether it be cocktails or sodas. The service is always great.

Went for the £25 sharer deal. It was larger portions and great watermelon salad. None of us left hungry and i think its a great way to try all their chicken.

I have a confession: I am chronically lazy. This means that I a) enjoy food being brought to me while lazing on the sofa (not take outs though, I like it hot and fresh- volunteers anyone?) and b) I make a terrible food blogger as I can’t be bothered to schlep all across town for the latest and greatest openings. Imagine my happiness when Chick’n’Sours made so much money and noise that they finally opened a branch bang in the middle of Covent Garden!  YAY. Fried chicken is my spirit food and I couldn’t wait to taste it. What’s more, they do reservations (and I’d highly recommend you reserve, the day we visited they were fully booked and turning people away for lunch) so that Grant, Mr. ‘I’m-allergic-to-queues’ could come too. The beautiful Bella tagged along too to make a perfect fried chicken trio.

It was not too busy on a weds night. We got seated straight away when we arrived at 6.45. There was a small queue when we headed out at 8. The new place in seven dials has only been opened for one week after its success in Hackney.

The food was good. Most of them are deep fried including the aubergine as a starter. The deep fried aubergine with sesame was delicious. We also ordered the k-pop bun and guest fry. The k-pop bun was good, it has the sour sauce in the coleslaw that makes the burger not too greasy. The guest fry tastes good, but the middle of the chicken meat was still pink, and I don't think eating not fully cooked chicken is a very good idea. The cucumber side was too salty.

I ordered two drinks, the first one with vodka was good, the second one with rose was a bit weird.

Overall, it is a deep fried chicken place that was nicely done if you are ready for some heavy dinner. But how could you go wrong with deep fried chicken? At least I never tried any yet ;)

"It has runaway success written all over it," I said about the original Chick'n'Sours in Kingsland Road, and with my predictions being so very rarely correct I hope you'll indulge me this opportunity to brag just a little about getting this one bang-on. With their unique and timely vision of Asian-influenced US comfort food this lively little spot in Dalston caught the public's imagination - and appetite - from day one, and in retrospect it was inevitable they'd want to open a 2nd branch at some point.

The staff were lovely; Welcoming, polite and helpful. The service was quick and efficient. The food we ordered was delicious and nicely presented with well thought out flavour combinations. I'll happily be eating at Chick 'n' sours again. I've got my eye on a whole fry next time!

Ridiculously delicious chicken of unique flavors. Great staff that gave us great service. The vibes are cool. The prices are reasonable. Came back for a second visit after two years since the first one, definitely worth it!

I booked Chick n Sours for a late birthday meal after a show down the road. It was great as I could book dinner at the perfect time and still had enough time to eat without rushing. The service was initially a little slow but improved with time. The food was honestly mind blowing and their Chef deserves all of his flowers, he’s a magician! The highlights were the wings, the chicken ‘prawn’ toast (not pictured because I ate it too quickly), and the watermelon salad. If you like strong cocktails you will definitely like theirs! I was even kindly given a cocktail on the house for my birthday. Thanks and will definitely be back!

Best fries EVER! I know this is a fried chicken place but I just have to rave about the beef dripping fries! They are like crack. The Korean chicken sandwich was good too but not addictive like the fries. I would come back even just to eat fries..

Had wanted to try this place for a while as I do love a chicken wing. Friendly relaxed service, the kung pao disco wings were amazing, messy, but gorgeous! Green slaw good, but elevated by adding the remains of the kung pao chillies and nuts.

Greats flavours on the wings but the huge amount of coleslaw let the burger down. It made the bun so soggy and just dripped after each bite.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chick 'n Sour, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the chicken burger I ordered – it was, without a doubt, the best chicken burger I've ever had the pleasure of savoring. The flavors were exceptional, and it left me craving for more. However, what truly elevated my dining experience was the remarkable team at Chick 'n Sour. Among them, Alex stood out as an exemplary host. Alex's attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experience was exceptional was truly commendable. Their recommendations and friendly service added a personal touch that made our visit all the more memorable.I can't recommend Chick 'n Sour enough. If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience with exceptional food and a fantastic team, this is the place to be. Thanks to Alex and the entire team for making our visit truly remarkable.

Lovely place to eat, food tasted fresh and not greasey. Service was really good, I'll recommend booking in advance as seating is a bit limited. I'll defo recommend.

Great quality fried chicken for fair prices. I ordered the hot (Buffalo style) wings, K-Pop sandwich and fries. The standouts were definitely the wings (some of the best I’d ever had) and the fries alongside the many delicious and creative sauces. I was severely underwhelmed by the K-Pop — it was quite soggy and difficult to eat, and the flavors just didn’t complement each other and mesh very well (too much slaw with not enough seasoning, and the chicken had an overpowering spicy taste to it). I’ll come back for the wings and to try their other sandwiches.

Arrived as a last minute decision and was incredibly happy with what we received. Service was quick, friendly and informative when it came to enquiring about allergens. Food was incredibly tasty, full of flavor and vibrant as can be. Chicken was moist, coating crisp and the various sauces bursting with flavor. The cocktail I ordered too was good and cut through some of the flavors easily making for a great refresher. I would absolutely go again the next time I am in London. Loved it.
