Quality of the food is top class, the steaks are freshly cut and cooked in view of the customers and the staff are exceptional. A really nice local business which is family run, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend to any foodie.
The best steak in London and for the best price. My ribeye fillet was unbelievable quality and cooked to perfection. Would expect to pay double for similar quality elsewhere. My boyfriend's sirloin was similarly perfection on a plate. However, the chips that came with it were not French fries but cafe-quality chips and our starters were cheap but poor. Go here for amazing steak but not if you want an all-round amazing dining experience.

I tried the ribeye steak at Sim's on Wednesday, and it is without a doubt the best I've tried in London. Very flavoursome, cooked to perfection and served with fresh peppercorn sauce. Lovely place and very friendly staff. Coming back next week :)
Absolutely lovely food, so happy to have found a steakhouse which cuts the meant and cooks it to perfection. Great little place, large portions, food cooking on view of customers and very welcoming atmosphere. We will be back very soon.
First time I've been to sims and I will definitely be back again! Great atmosphere, good quality food and friendly service. Came here for a friends birthday and they couldn't have done more for us. The quality of food was even better than some west end restaurants I've been to. Already looking forward to coming back.

Amazing food definitely recommended. Took my wife to Sim's Steak house and the food was without a doubt the best I have had. The staff are great you can really see how it is family run and the passion for food. The Chef is brilliant, he cut my steak and prepared it all in front of us. My wife had fish which she said tasted so fresh(The chef did say he caught it that day)
I have book for Valentines day we both cant wait for the chefs sauce, definitely recommended.

Don't let the location of Sim's dissuade you from trying it: this casual, cosy steakhouse can compete with SE3's finest! The menu is simple and unfussy and the high-quality steaks are cooked to perfection, with sauces made fresh to order, unlimited feta and tomato salad, and a choice of chips, sautéed or baked potatoes. The portions are generous, especially given the very reasonable price. And the staff members are delightful! Friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely be returning.

Edited to add that we've been back several times and tried many other dishes on the menu. The food has been consistently fantastic and we have been made to feel very welcome. Have taken several different friends there and they've all been impressed.
All the steaks have been of high quality and cooked just how we've asked for them. The seafood starters are also amazing.

Great service and high quality food in family restaurant environment. Don't bother with high end commercial steak houses, Sims know how to cook delicious cuts of steak to your liking.

I have had many a steak in my life, and I have enjoyed each and every one, but never have I enjoyed it quite to the extent that I enjoyed this steak. I had the sirloin, done at a perfect medium rare, and it was beyond compare. As someone who came here because we just wanted a steak- we weren't too picky on where from, just somewhere close to our accomodation that doesn't make our eyes completely water at the price, this has completely blindsided me. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with an utterly gorgeous peppercorn sauce.
I can't only focus on the steak (although I know it will visit me in dreams until I can return back to visit!), The service was also absolutely phenomenal. The waitress who took our order was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the homely atmosphere of the restaurant was incredibly relaxing and inviting. The other staff were equally incredibly approachable, and checked on our food, ensured we were tended to our every need.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to any of you. It may be a bit out of reach if you're around the Greenwich area, but is incredibly, incredibly worth the trip.
For £26 you can have a steak, feta cheese and chips that will genuinely rock your world.
(Also, the chicken steaks were also absolutely juicy, tender and delicious - my partner had it and thoroughly enjoyed the garlic chicken steak!)
There's a nice selection of teas and coffees for after too!
We went to Simms for the steaks I heard so much about this place and wanted to see if it's as good as other places we've been to. Well we were not disappointed! Simms had a special Veal T bone it was so big and thick I was blown away it was the best steak I've eaten in years. My partner had Ribeye. We highly recommend. No frills just awesome food at a decent price. The waitress was so lovely and Simm came over and had a chat. Go here and enjoy decent portions and great great steaks.
An unassuming restaurant with a great steak selection and cuts, that were cooked to perfection (we all chose medium rare for our respective steaks). 4 of us attended and not one complaint. The sauces tasted great. The waitress gets a special mention as she was very sweet and very helpful. If you like good quality steaks, this might just be the place for you.
I found Sim's by accident about a year ago when an Uber dropped me at the wrong restaurant, I am a meat lover and now I am a Sim's lover, the experience is like none other, I now take my friends and try to eat there at least once per month. The meals are cooked to your request, the flavours are exquisite and the service is exceptional. (I am a restaurant owner but Sim's is a small intimate cut above the rest.)
This place is a real hidden gem. My wife and I went for dinner and we couldn't have been happier. The food was excellent and well priced. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm, as are the friendly staff. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for a good steak.
This is a restaurant I must have passed hundreds of times and never noticed it. We went recently for a girlfriend’s birthday and had a great time. The staff in the family run restaurant are lovely and the service is informal and friendly but attentive. The plates are uncomplicated and unpretentious with a hint of nostalgia but extremely tasty. The meat has a lovely barbecued flavour and the potions are generous. I had the T-bone as it’s not often you see it on a menu outside of the over priced central London steak chains. It filled the plate and was cooked perfectly medium rare. If you’d rather have fish there were some great options too. One of our group had Sea Bass which looked lovely. Would highly recommend for a group or just a couple’s evening supper.
