First thing is it's a great atmosphere, nice and cosy.
Service was good, we went at breakfast hours but chef was happy to cook of the lunch menu.
We had Calamari which was excellent and the lasagne with chips and one with Salad. The the sauce for the lasagne wasn't great but the quality of the meat made up for it.

Fantastic! Went here on the recommendation of urban spoon and was thrilled. Very romantic, great prices for home made Italian. Every entre between £6-8. Got a half bottle of wine and dessert for two of us for £28 total and it was a great sit down meal. Highly recommend and it was right around the corner from where we were staying, palmers lodge swiss cottage hostle.

The Best Dinner Deal You Can Get in Swiss Cottage?. I highly recommend Pasticcio. (It used to be Coffee Inn, by the way.) This atmosphere is - how shall I put it? - cosy and friendly. Dining there is like having a dinner at a friend's place. The interior decoration makes you feel relaxed, and, more importantly, the staff are without exception ever so friendly while being efficient. I live nearby and have been to this place a countless number of times, sometimes for coffee in the afternoon but more often for a meal in the evening.
What I especially recommend is their pasta dishes, which are incredibly super for their prices. I have paid more at other places so many times, only to be disappointed quite often. I have covered virtually all cafes in NW3 and can say with confidence that Pasticcio is not only the most reasonably priced but also is the place where you can have the best quality pasta around here. The chefs are simply so talented. Also, the portion is so generous you won't believe! Order anything -, pasta, fish, or steaks...you will be amazed how much minute care is taken to make sure any of them taste just so right. If you want to round up your meal with a nice dessert and coffee, there again, they always deliver. Meal or coffee, they haven't even once failed to live up to my rather difficult expectations. Back to the main course, a few more words; the dishes that I personally like include: Spagehetti Marinara, Spaghetti Carbonara, Fusilli Ortlana, Spaghetti Salmon, Swordfish Steak, Mushroom Steak, and Peppercorn Steak. Lamb Chops is also great, but it is one of the chef's specials and so is not always available.

A cute, rustic little Italian deli that serves simple, affordable but incredibly tasty food. Had a plate of the spaghetti Napoletana (homemade sauce!) and it was so flavourful and delicious. A glass of the house red was also extremely pleasant and the tricolore salad added a nice freshness to the meal. Very yummy shared chocolate cake for afters. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely, quick pre-theatre meal.

We visited here for a late dinner on a weekday. The vibe and decor of the place is really nice and relaxing - perfect for catching up with a friend over dinner or dining alone after a packed day. The lady which serves us is nice and friendly! We had deep fried calamari as appetiser (as the dish we ordered have run out) and two different pastas (the carbonara is changed to penne as they have run out of spaghetti). They were all delicious and filling, especially the aubergines and courgettes! The calamari is less crispy then we would like it to be but is still pretty good. We will definitely come back again to try their breakfast and wine.

Delicious food, friendly service, cozy environment. We had veal milaneses which were cooked to perfection - really tasty sauce and beautifully fried milaneses. Will certainly pop again when back to Finchley Road region :)
