Tao Tao Ju - London - Photo album

Food was very good. We went for the starters to share, the prawn toast and satay chicken tasted amazing. A little disappointed with the spring roll as it was way too greasy and oily. The bamboo basket set menu was lovely, a little more variety would have made it it perfect. The XO special rice was
Decent Chinese food, although the consistency of dishes was a bit off! Some dishes were cooked really well and came out hot and fresh, and some the opposite, so a bit hot and miss. Plenty of variety on the menu and can order dim sum alongside main dishes which is what we did.
A new go-to Chinese restaurant. Delicious meals and the restaurant is clean. The atmosphere is quite nice like being in a dining room at home. When you see the walls you'll see what I mean. Their beef with hofun noodles is yummy and the beef is so tender! Try all the steamed dim sums too! Their staf
My Favourite place for Dim Sum in Chinatown for years but haven’t been there in a while and I’m glad I went today! It still is very delicious! Booking recommended as waiting times can be long but even then it’s worth the wait
Tried this restaurant for lunch as it has been recommended to me by a trusted friend. Located in China Town, there are so many restaurant options there, but the ambiance and sitting inside as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant caught my attention first We got the mixed appetizers plate for t
Delicious soup dumplings (XLBs) and great ribs. The service was very friendly and really fast.
Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The classics and the dim sum were excellent, better than any I've had in London, but what blew me away was the barbecued duck. Sweet, salty and sharp - some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant is lovely insi
Great food, great drinks choices, good service, sought-after very affordable Chinese restaurant. Highly recommended
Har gau and egg tarts were perfect. The price was a lot for the type of food served and its quality however it is central London. Later that day we did order a deliveroo for tao tao ju and i must admit it was terrible. The portions were so much smaller, the braised beef brisket was raw and it just w
Visited here from Sussex following a friends reccomendation and certainly wasn't disappointed. Chicken satay, crispy chilli beef and chicken hot pot was amazing! Food was delicious, We will be coming back that's for sure.
Absolutely loved the food, the service was amazing so fast and incredible quality, staff are very nice and I can’t wait to go back!!!
Noodles are greasy, rest of meals are tasty.
Tao Tao Ju is where you must go if you are looking for the best dim sum in London. Book in advance as it is popular and you will figure out why once you start eating their delicious dishes. We tried different ones but our favourites are the prawn or prawn and scallops ones (but dare to try them all
Came in on a Thursday night without a booking but we were glad to have been seated within a few minutes despite waiting in a queue. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered their Malaysian Ho Fun which had the right spice to it, the turnip paste, aubergine and greens, prawns in spicy soup and
Enjoyed the vegan set menu which was £25pp, food was absolutely gorgeous. The only dish that probably could have done with some more flavour was the Singapore noodle but everything else was amazing. We did have to wait a while before the staff came over to take our orders (30 minutes).
