Ayam Zaman - London - Photo album

I ordered too much. Portions are good to generous. When I visit again, I'll order one dish at a time. Lentil soup was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed Ayam Zaman Kibbeh - lovely spice and pomegranates balances nicely.
Love this place, amazing local restaurant serving. I regularly go here for lunch or dinner with friends. Food is always delicious and service is excellent. Highly recommended.
We came here based on the reviews. We all had the mixed grill with fries but there's an option to have rice instead as well. I found the portion size was a little smaller than I had anticipated. The flavours were there but didn't really pack a punch unfortunately and so we used the table sauces and
This is such a beautifully decorated Syrian/Lebanese restaurant. They have an affordable lunch menu for 11.99 including a drink which was a large portion. The service is friendly and welcoming. The ambience is chilled, spacious and a comforting place to eat your food especially around lunch. The sha
Tasty food served at a fair price. We had the chicken shawarma + the lamb which were flavourful and very filling. Take full advantage of the lunch special if you can!
Another of the many visits we have made to Ayam Zaman and as always everything was delicious. This time we went for Ayam Zaman shawarma, kofta yoghurtie, falafel and cheese sambousek. The service was attentive as always. One of our favourite places in London
Food was nice. We ordered a mix of Morocco, Asian and middle eastern dishes, fresh juices and sweets. Service was poor. Lovely atmosphere. Parking is expensive around the restaurant and that's one reason for us not to go as often as we used to.
Lamb biryani contained some of the best lamb I've ever had. Hummus shawarma, falafel, baba ganoush, and spinach pastries were also incredible. Service was impressively fast, too. What a feast! I will be back!
As a Lebanese, I truly enjoyed sitting and eating in this restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant reminded me of back home, and the service was wonderful. The menu has a lot of varieties and the food was really amazing. I would love to visit again when I’ll be feeling homesick!
A nice and simple restaurant that provides Middle Eastern food of the Syrian variety. We ordered the kofte youghurtiyeh and kebab tahini. The former item was a unique experience that felt like I ate kebab with loaded nachos but instead of nacho chips it was fried pita chunks. We also ordered their
Ayam Zaman is a cool little restaurant not far from Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush. While it pitches itself as a Damascene restaurant it is maybe a bit more Moroccan than Syrian. Nevertheless the food is very good as is the service. The decor and ambience is very tasteful and I think i
I have known this restaurant from the day I moved to London and loved it ever since !! I highly recommend the food, the service, all very hard working people from staff to the owners . They produce fresh, homemade , authentic and top quality food ! They are extremely reliable, have a huge selectio
Dropped in there late morning on a Saturday and had the buffet (which i think ends before the main lunch service). Great selection (even for us as vegetarians) and staff were all friendly. When I'm in a restaurant like this i always want to order a bit of everything so buffet is a good idea!
This restaurant was an amazing choice! Loved the very authentic decor and vibe, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming! Food was good but I especially loved the Kebbeh and how well spiced and cooked the lamb neck served with Frikkeh. Will definitely go back to it
The Harira soup was 10/10, the half chicken was ok it was improved with their homemade chilli sauce 6/10, I would go for the lamb next time for mains. Complementary Baklava was given and the Morrocan tea was 10/10. The service was friendly and food arrived promptly.
overall: my 1st experience of authentic (non modernised) middle eastern food. some dishes need a bit of tweaking but overall very flavourful & hefty portions. great place for groups of friends & family. cheese fatayer🧀: compared to thin crust pizza, the dough is much chewier & has a hint of sweetne
