Great local place to eat at! Chicken and meat was halal and purchased fresh daily courtesy of the halal butchers right next door.
The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Great selection of food and dim sum, really enjoyed everything we ordered. I especially loved the chicken wonton soup and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the beef/lamb fried dumplings. 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down one of the best places in the area for din sum. Great family run place and kid friendly also.
Food arrived in good time and everything was high quality and at a great price. All of the dumplings were delicious as was the Dan Dan noodles.
The atmosphere was really lively and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves.
I'll be coming here more often for sure.

Returned after over a year to enjoy the dim sum and I have to admit that the food has never tasted so good. The dim sum is freshly made so the quality is exceptional. Loved every mouthful.

One of my favourite restaurants in the area and some of the best dumplings I’ve had in London. Homemade, delicious dumplings made fresh each day. Only request is that it would be amazing if they could try out some more veggie friendly dumpling options. Perhaps tofu.

Incredible dumpling and noodles from this unassuming venue! The staff were friendly and accommodating and the prices are more than reasonable. Will definitely keep coming back.

Tasty, fresh dimsum but wish there was more selection. The fried dumplings were a highlight. The noodles were ok, tried the egg / wheat noodles with tomato and egg that had shredded cucumber which was 6/10.
Good to try and small, independent restaurant. Reasonably priced.

So usually the second time you visit a restaurant is not always as good especially when your first visit was exceptional. In this case I have to say my expectations were high and they did not disappoint again. The same high standard of food preparation all the way. I have eaten dim sum at many famous places in China town and many high profile central locations but this place completely outshines them all. Very fresh and very tasty! This has now become my Go-To place for dim sum and it should be yours!

Panda is great, the dim sum is lovey and so are the other dishes, you will always be welcomed warmly and even if you haven’t booked they will try and fit you in the best they can.
All the dim sum and bum options are great and you can’t go wrong, good vegi options also.
The Chinese broccoli with garlic is great and the double cooked pork.
The staff here are lovey and always happy to help and always have a smile.
It’s BYOB bring your own booze, which is great (lots of shops around to grab a bottle etc).
The decor is very simple but reminded me of some of the best dim sum places in Asia I had visited.
The taste of the food was very similar to that of dim sum in Asia also.
All the food is made there and you can see them preparing the dim sum and other dishes.
Prices are not that bad either, well worth a visit and I will definitely be back.

We had the most delicious dinner here last night. All the dim sum is made fresh, even the dough and you can taste it. Every dish was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend the duck steamed dumplings

Very delicious freshly made dim sum, especially enjoyed the fried special dumpling and steamed prawn dumpling. The Dan Dan Noodles was too oily and salty, I would prefer some peanut butter added to it as well. Overall it was really nice with the 50% off due to Eat out to Help out.

Great place for homey and comfort dim sum. It’s a tiny place so expect a small queue during peak hours.

Great food and prices, fast service. Not a huge menu but there is good variety. Would definitely recommend. Especially if you want dim sum outside of the traditional serving times.

Wow! Such tasty food and really friendly staff. Can see the dim sum being made at the back, fresh! The wonton soup was sooo lovely and warming and the roast duck dumplings were nuts! Can’t wait to eat here again

Intimate little gem in Leytonstone with really friendly staff. The dim sum is delicious and it’s really nice to watch the chef, who personally came over to have a chat after my first meal here, wrap them up individually before steaming.

I cannot believe how great the dimsum is at Panda's Cafe. We've seen a lot of families with kids here so had assumed they might sacrifice (particularly spicier) flavours, could not be more delighted to be wrong. The chicken wonton soup was a particular highlight. Charming service, clean kitchen and one of London's best dim sums at reasonable prices. We'll be coming back for dinner to try the szechuan bass.

This place is a little gem! Prices are very fair, the staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! The dumplings are so good! Would absolutely recommend!

I have been visiting Panda Dim Sum for years and along with the vast majority of satisfied local customers have always been impressed with the extremely attentive, friendly and polite service. Yes it's a small family run business so it can get hectic for them occasionally due to their popularity, but they work extremely hard and bend over backwards to ensure customer satisfaction. The food is consistently delicious and authentic, more akin to what you find in Chinatown and China itself than the usual run of the mill neighborhood fare (the dim sum and aubergines in garlic are scrumptious!).
I will certainly keep going there and look forward to my next visit.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Terrible service from beginning to end. We got there and literally had to sit ourselves down. We literally had to get their attention to even order drinks and seeing the couple who came in after us who got served straight away. The food was nice but the service was slow and we literally felt invisible. We asked for forks and didnt get any even after the food came, had to go up myself to get the forks. And finally when it came to paying the bill, let's say it got a bit out of hand where they literally called the police. My friend didn't like the taste of the Sechuan noodles, and instead of the lady being apologetic, when my friend asked if she can choose something else on the menu the lady's face dropped and asked her "Like what?"...erm how about you give her a menu and a chance so she can choose. Anyways my friend didnt end up picking anything in the end because of the ladies attitude, and instead of the staff letting us know that we still had to pay for the sechuan noodle dish they took the dish and threw it in the bin, not even giving us an option to take it away. Worst service ever. I dont care if your a small business or a family run business it doesnt mean you lose your customer service skills. They got defensive and raised their voices as soon as we said we wasnt paying for the noodles and It escalated from there (to the point where they put the shutters down thinking we were going to leave without paying. I mean that is definitely illegal, keeping in mind I'm pregnant and we had a 5month old baby with us). I even left a review on Google and their response was just sickening. Their defense was that they were not able to re-sell the noodles. I mean who in their right frame of mind would even think about giving food they've just given to a customer to another customer. It's absolute madness! They gave two comments saying the police came 10mins after we left and 3mins after we left (I mean which one was it) after they told us they were going to be an hour. We didnt want to sit there for an hour especially how bad it all escalated, so we was forced to pay. They say they have it all on CCTV, ok that's great that means you have on camera when they tried to keep us hostage. Never have I ever experienced anything so horrible. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this experience i just couldnt let it go. They were not apologetic at all and were adamant in getting the last word in. THE most horrible experience we have ever encountered, never going there again...with an emphasis on NEVER.

Every time we come to Panda (and we go pretty much every week now!) the food and service are impeccable. The Szechuan fish stew is the best I've ever had and everything is made fresh and the balance of flavours is just spot on. Perfectly spiced and fragrant and really authentic.

The special dumplings, in fact all of the dumplings, are all made fresh on site and are packed with flavour. They make their own chilli oil, and you can really taste the difference. The way the chillies are toasted, it is just the perfect finishing touch to an already perfect place of food. It's really nice to see the chefs in the kitchen rolling the dumplings up from scratch - no shop bought stuff here!

The char sui bau was one of the lightest, freshest and most delicious I've had - and I've had a lot!

The owners are so lovely. The lady that manages it so so sweet and does such a lovely job it's always a pleasure to go there.

I swear the fish stew gets better every time we go!

It's BYO so works out cheap and there's a great new craft ale shop opened next door.

I could go on....

10/10

The dumplings are a revelation. Hot, fresh and tasty they are a taste sensation. Great range and all worth trying. Steamed broccoli a must try. Food is cooked in the open plan kitchen. Friendly local service and being BYO is great value. Highly recommended.

Quite simply the worst takeaway I've ever had the displeasure of enduring. Unfortunately a furious customer in the aftermath, especially at £31 for two people. To start with, my order was bungled and the soup I ordered was replaced by a dry noodle dish. The dim sun and pork buns were decent for sure but this is where it ends. The salad was merely cucumber drizzled in soya sauce and the two noodle dishes we were left with... deary me. Stuck together, gloopy, soggy, ultimately inedible. The worst. Will never be back.
BYO London
The menu is broken down into sections – steamed dim sum, fried dim sum, soups, noodle and rice dishes, and special house dishes. Between the three of us, we ordered prawn dumplings, char sui buns and broccoli from the steamed section, and pork and Chinese leaf dumplings and chicken and Chinese mushrooms dumplings from the fried menu.

The dim sum comes in portions of three or four pieces – perfect for trying other people’s food, but difficult if the number of pieces isn’t divisible by the number of people at the table! The food comes out as it’s ready – which is quite slowly – but is worth the wait. This is really good dim sum. The char sui buns were my favourites by far – pork enveloped by a fluffy bread-like bun.
