An absolute gem in all the chaos. Justin and Lisa were extremely nice and welcoming. It quickly became our favourite place after a crazy day at the office. See you again soon!
What an amazing space for a drink either on your own or with friends. If your on your own you'll be delighted with the array of wall hangings and pictures trinkets and true Irish pub memorabilia (which isn't all Irish) This establishment is a true pub in the sense it has old worldly feel and atmosphere. Off the beaten track, down from Algate East worth the walk and adventure. Don't miss out on an experience not just a beer.
Such a cozy dark pub. Good for visitors. Very friendly service. Walls covered with photos and drawings. Thai food or fish and chips and other options like a burger. Beer on tap. Full bar.
Great, easygoing, unpretentious East end boozer. Each time I drink in here I feel like some historical figure will cone crashing through the door, Edmund Reid for example bursting in quizzing all about the whereabouts of Jack the Ripper.
I feel like ice entered a time Portal whenever I come in here😊.
A fantastic pub. A proper old school pub with a cracking interior. Nice little beer garden at the back too.
Chilled out place with very friendly service, naturally it was fairly quiet for a Monday night. Ordered three starters for £16, the food was served hot and came out fairly quickly. Nice amount of spice in the dishes, tasted good. I think with the name Princess of Prussia I was expecting the decor to be a bit different inside, the olde pub style benches don't lend themselves for relaxed eating. I wouldn't let that deter me going again and would be interesting to try the beer garden in the summer.
Nice place, with a dehor to stay out. Very friendly staff, good beer and nice food. What else?
Nice interior, friendly bartenders, tasty ale, good location - just a short walk from the Tower Bridge. It was my first pub to visit in London, and every part of my experience appeared to be positive. I haven't had a chance to try out Thai dishes they offer since the kitchen was closed by the late hour I came, but drinks were nice as was the pub's vibe on Saturday night.
They just keep coming, a proper gem old school pub. Great choice of drinks nice little beer garden at the back just simply a lovely old school pub,24.9.23 took the guys in had a lovely couple of Guinnesses and the ales where spot on too. Great friendly polite staff. Pop in keep places like this going it's worth it.
Excellent pub near Tower Bridge. It has a really traditional look (Victorian all the way), a good range of beers on tap and excellent Thai food. Definitely recommended and the prices are very good. Also there's a real fire
Very quiet for a lunchtime, but good pint and pleasant garden.
