Unfortunately I cannot comment on much more than the decor here. We booked a table for tea however were so hungry decided to come early for a few appetisers. However the atmosphere was bleak and we weren't allowed to order from the sushi chefs (so whats the point in a bar?) which seemed very-unjapanese! We decided not to stay for tea.

There are not many tables in London with a direct view across Westminster Bridge to Big Ben and Parliament - but ICHI has one. For any other table you are convincingly transported to a modern minimalist sushi bar in Japan. The negative is how expensive it is, but when you have a million dollar view perhaps it can be forgiven. If you found my review or photo helpful please leave a quick thumbs up 👍 Arigatou!

We ate there once because we didn’t feel like leaving the hotel that night. Sushi was good, but it was so noisy. One particular table of six loud people just made this sushi restaurant felt like a pub.

This is one of my treat days, every so often l like to enter into places that l would never visit, this is one of them. As a performance artist l soak up environments, spaces, places and atmospheres. I received a warm welcome, the staff were attentive, the food is fresh and prepared on the premises. It is quite surreal sitting in a Japanese restraunt looking out to Westminster, watching a parade of government cars with police escorts drive by, its certainly a different way to experience London. I even forgot l was inside a hotel complex. I have savoured every moment, every bite and the luxurious atmosphere. A new memory of my city, it never stops surprising me. 🇯🇵 Thank you ICHI for a wonderful experience.

My husband and I wanted sushi for dinner and we just typed on google map the nearest one and we found ICHI. We didn't know that the restaurant was inside a hotel but for our surprise it was a really pleasant experience. Staff were nice, atmosphere was good and the food was great! I totally recommend having sashimi, it's a must in a place called sushi and sashimi bar! We also had the crab meat and avocado salad and the tuna aburi roll. I'll definitely go back in one of my day trips to London! Shame we didn't discover it earlier! Now it's on my list of favourite places to dine in London.

Amazing food! Extremely fresh. Staff are attentive and friendly. Came back after visiting in 2017 and the quality has remained the same. Looking forward to coming back. :)

Every time I stay at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge I always eat at ICHI sushi. The sushi is great quality with bold creative flavours and they also import some really unique fish types that you don't see often in UK Highly recommend this sushi place for anyone who likes gourmet sushi

Didn't expect this high quality from a hotel sushi restaurant. The quality of the fish was really good. Especially the Eel and Hamachi👌🏻 Would definitively recommend the place (apart from the hotel atmosphere)

Had come down to London for work and wanted Sushi for dinner. Ichi Sushi caught my eye on Googlemaps. Greated by lovely waitresses, ordered a Miso Soup, Chicken Karrage & Beef Teriyaki Sushi which was phenomenal. I took 1 star off due to it coming to £27 which is quite steep.

Nice sushi restaurant inside the Park Plaza Waterloo. A little pricey. Really nice sake menu. Small seating area. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely amazing view and equally amazing food. The staff were perfectly attentive and we’re not too familiar with sushi so was super grateful for Alena who gave the best recommendations for food and answered any questions we had

Surprisingly good and decent prices! A nice hideaway inside a hotel by Waterloo station. Service was excellent and sushi was good - almost five stars! Will be going again
