Bella Bar & Restaurant

Came here with my mum and sister as a girls weekend away in June, it was such a gem to find as all the other restaurants were so busy and loud. The staff were welcoming and the food was out of this world amazing, well worth the find and so much atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

17/08/19 We were a party of 2, and this was our first time visiting Bella Bar & Restaurant. We decided to dine here, based on the great reviews we had read, and let me just say, we were not disappointed once in the 5 hours we spent, taking our time dining here! We got a very warm and friendly welcome from the manager Bledar, he went the extra mile, the question was asked; 'Is the Lobster fresh?'... We were pleasantly surprised and grateful that he actually brought us out a fresh lobster, uncooked on a plate to show us exactly how fresh it was, that was perfect for us, and that decided my mind straight away on having the Lobster Linguine as my main (Thank you). Mmm let me tell you, that lobster was succulent and sweet, perfectly cooked. Throughout our 3 course meal, we were looked after by the manager and one other of his team with him, both very friendly, relaxed but professional. We were made to feel welcome the minute we walked in, till the time we said goodbye. The Ambiance and atmosphere was relaxed, unrushed & cozy, and all the food we tasted here was cooked to perfection, and had some great subtle but very tasty flavours... Well done to all the chefs, your cooking skills and knowledge, we could not fault, very tasty! (Thank you). This place has only been open 6 months, and we haven't ever seen reviews like yours in any Bar & Restaurant in Balham. Seriously people, if you love great Italian food, and being looked after very well through your dining experience, then Bella Bar & Restaurant is definitely the place to be. Well done to Bledar and all his team, thank you for a fantastic dining experience, we will definitely see you again soon. This little place on Balham Hill, is a Gem, and we hope you stick around and continue your great work for years to come in Balham See you soon!

2 weeks ago I came to this beautifully designed restaurant with a very cosy loft/industrial feel. The owner was such a wonderful gentleman and the server my partner & I had (Vera) was so welcoming and friendly. I ordered the ‘Tagliatelle Giallo’ and it was just cooked to perfection! From the flavour of the sauce to the pasta! The owner gave a glass of complimentary Prosecco which complimented my pasta dish! Will definitely be visiting again and this time with my family! They (along with anyone else who reads this review) MUST try this restaurant!
