Came here to celebrate our friends' wedding dinner.
In general, the setting is absolutely lovely and lush, and it feels really fancy. We were upstairs in the main dining room.
We ordered a bunch of different foods to share, and I can highly recommend the squid and the dimsum sharer.
The chicken in general all tasted more or less the same (we ordered 4 mains of chicken), so I would recommend switching it up.
We were sitting right in front of the band, and the only downside was that it was excessively loud, as in you couldn't even hear the singer singing because the instruments were TOO loud.

Overall a good experience, live show is great and food is good.

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy the brunch at Park Chionis and I must say, it was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm, inviting ambiance that set the tone for an unforgettable meal.
The selection of dishes available was diverse, catering to all tastes and dietary needs.
The standout for me was their grilled black cod and honey roasted BBQ pork
The quality of ingredients used was noticeably fresh, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to offering top-tier cuisine.
The service staff was professional, courteous, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food they were serving. Their recommendations were spot on and it was evident they took pride in their knowledge of the menu.
Park Chinois is truly a hidden gem for anyone seeking a delectable brunch experience. The passion and dedication to culinary excellence is palpable in every bite. It's a must-visit for locals and tourists alike!
PS! The cocktails are tasty too, specially the Negroni!

The best place in the world! Great food and amazing experience. Everything was absolutely wonderful and the food was incredible. Definitely I’ll come back.

This is a review for their underground speakeasy bar. We had a fabulous Friday night there, were lucky to get 2 empty sits at a bar counter. There also booths and tables closer to the stage. There was a spectacular live program including dancing, singing and burlesque acts.
The cocktails and service was the best part of our experience. Massimo bartender was super accommodating to my cocktail wishes (both were off the menu) and made the best pisco sour I had in London using aquafaba (which makes it vegan), but he was very willing to go an extra mile and find an eggwhite which is supposed to be in this cocktail. He also was super fun and witty to talk to on top of being extremely handsome. His coworker did a great job fixing me French 75. Highly recommend this place.

I had an amazing dining experience at Park Chinois! The food was simply delicious, from the perfectly cooked duck to the sea bass and truffle rice that were too good to pass up. The duck sauce was particularly amazing, adding a burst of flavor to an already amazing dish. And to top it all off, I had an awesome time with my friends. The atmosphere was perfect for a night out with good food and great company. I would highly recommend Park Chinois to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Can't wait to go back!

Our new favourite place. Food is good, excellent service, everyone is so polite and friendly!! Special mention to Massimo, who is welcoming us at the bar, making nice cocktails, just before we are heading to our table. Sophisticated please, relaxed atmosphere with live music and comfortable interior. Be careful how much you order because I never have space for a pudding. 👍👏 💫

We had a wonderful birthday meal, the food, drinks, service and ambience was wonderful throughout the evening. Even the drummer in the jazz band was so friendly 😊 The flavours of each of our meals was fantastic!

Services was a bit slow and the food was great for me. However, we were group of ladies and some complaints. But the atmosphere was amazing 💗💗💗

Park Chinois - the treasures that await patrons of this boldly decadent venue are some of the most sumptuous you’ll ever indulge in your lifetime.
Come here for the decor, vibe and atmosphere, stay for the entertainment and the food and drink.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all - the diverse performances completely exceed all expectations - from powerhouse singers and divas to boxing drag queen and dominatrix dames, Park Chinois has truly something for everyone (except maybe those looking for something tame).
The food is stunning - some of the best high-end ££££ contemporary Chinese food we’ve eaten that tastes highly authentic (the gai lan is a standout dish), certainly on par with the Mandarin Orientals and Shangri-Las of the world, if not better - and good enough for a Chinese person like myself.
Park Chinois has it all - a divine destination that is simply unforgettable.

Excellent food, lovely cocktails, great vegan options, top class entertainment. This place has really gone up.

Excellent bday dinner with my love. We had a superb waiter. Galzi was a charming gentleman with fantastic suggestions.

Interesting dishes and the duck was spectacular, just not sure it is worth that much 🤷🏽♀️ Cocktails we’re very good but barman charged £3 to hand it over the bar. Sea urchin carbonara was very good but had tiny amounts of sea urchin and the dish was actually better without it. Service could have been better especially for 15%

Park Chinois is a very upscale and fancy Chinese restaurant at the heart of Central London. The vibes and interiors are really nice and well themed. It’s got an old school classy feeling to it. The live jazz band is also a great touch.
The food here is also really good. Really recommend the starters to share. We also ordered a main each to share. Definitely get the carbonara. A really interesting dish!
Highly recommend to finish with the dessert platter. We were able to share this across four people. Small little bites to finish off a good meal!

Amazing ambience and amazing service
Comida Deliciosa
I was here for my birthday dinner (surprised by husband!! which is very rare indeed!!) Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience. The ambience, the live music, the food. What an amazing combination. We tried quite a few items, our favourites being crispy chilli chicken Szechuan peppers, soft shell crab, dim sum platter and the crispy chicken chilli mango sauce.!!

Park chinois is one of my favorite restaurants in london. <br/>The place is quite expensive but totally worth it.<br/>They have a lot of vegetarian options.<br/>Their truffle rice is a must try.<br/>Reservation is necessary as it is generally fully booked.

Came here for lunch, <br/>Ordered a variety of dishes such as wagyu dumplings, truffle dumplings, vension puff , and their signature duck dish which was super tasty, <br/>The rest of the food were all very good<br/>I loved the duck! <br/><br/>Staff were friendly and attentive <br/>With Sprezzatura

Absolutely one of the best places to be in London. My ultimate favorite. The food is always amazing along with the ambiance, the live entertainment, VERY good crowd upper scale international and local people, it’s pricey but according to me it is worth it. Go for the duck pecking it is a must have - I don’t eat duck but I loved it ! Caviar selection is great and pretty much not a place to worry about dieting ! A must !

Dinner and a show this is the place to be! Amazing interior with exotic notes that welcomes you from the entrance through the powdering room:). The atmosphere come alive here in this place. The menu offers a good variety from where you can choose what you love. I took the truffle dishes and i loved the truffle paste. <br/>When in London you must try!<br/>

Loved the food here. Was tempted to try the pork but that didn’t happen. Appetizers were Wagyu Gyozas and Chilli chicken. Both really good. For the mains we ordered the Beef rib and the Rice pot with Black Truffle. Next level. Great food, great ambience. May need to come back here with a bigger group to try more

Terrible food extremely greasy and portions are so small for what they charge. Service was also far from what you'd expect when a restaurant charges 15% service as well as 10 £ cover charge per head. So disappointing, Not a patch on hakkasan which is right next door. Never again!
Ishan S Agarrwal
The shortest experience ever at a restaurant as we didn't even make through the bar. We were a group of four and who were super excited to go here cause of the buzz about the place. We were welcomed in by this cocky guy who though he was too good to be a doorman! Tried to give him a compliment cause he was wearing cool shoes! I shouldnt have! <br/>Anyways we entered and they were quite cold at the enterance.. suddenly they asked us to strip down our jackets and caps. That would have been ok if they had informed us earlier that they had a dress code over the phone which they didnt.. so after going through the humiliation they made us wait at the bar! <br/><br/>The only good part was the lady manager!! She was so nice after me informing her what happened! She was very polite and tried to change out mind of leaving thr place without eating.. so kudos to her. <br/><br/>The food must be nice! But the humiliating incident and the cold welcome filled us up! Cheers

The food is not worth what you pay for! The place has a wonderful interior however the staff are rude and not friendly. Also, there are a lot of waiters moving around it bothers you. As for the food, I did like the vegetable dumpling and the sweet and sour chicken is beyond delicious, however, I did not like the mushroom noodles and vegetable rice. Nice experience, but I wouldn’t go back.

well it took me a while to finally write my review on this place. But it's simply amazing, the ambiance, the seevice, the food (they have the best duck ever). I really hope it opens in Dubai soon with the same concept. would love to be back.

Nothing sort of a movie set. This colourfully done restaurent on two floors is on Berkeley street.<br/>Sure immense fortune must have been spent on customising everything . <br/>Great service ,ambience to match <br/>This 300 plus seater is immensely popular since it's inception about 2 years. <br/>Dishes to remember <br/>Summer truffle dimsum<br/>Yin and yang trio of prawns <br/>Glass noodles <br/>The chicken bao<br/>Worth another visit at dinner time with 500 guests swooning to music and great cocktails<br/>Wasabi prawns do need special mention<br/>They were the best I have had

I was invited back to Park Chinois to experience the venue as it should be, and by way of apology for my last visit, which had a bit of a shaky start. This time I wasn't going to be disappointed, and all the stops were taken out to ensure my visit would be a memorable one for all of the right reasons. <br/><br/>I was made to feel like a VIP from the moment I entered, which was a huge improvement from my first visit. All of the staff at the door and reception were friendly, professional and accommodating, quickly locating my reservation with ease and showing me through to the upstairs dinning area.<br/><br/>Starting the evening at the bar (as I was very early......again), I was seated and welcomed and enjoyed friendly conversations with the bar staff whilst sipping on a delicious and well put together Espresso Martini, accompanied with bar nibbles. <br/><br/>Once I was ready to dine, I was shown to a large, spacious table, with great views of the live band. A bottle of complimentary rose champagne was delivered to enjoy with the meal, which was a wonderful gesture and of course appreciated. Glasses were always kept full, and the wine glasses that were not in use, quickly removed. <br/><br/>The wonderfully talented live Jazz band and singer played in the background which added a sexy, vamped up atmosphere, without being too loud to take away from the venues speak easy vibe. <br/><br/>The food; venison puffs, cooked to perfection, the meat just melts away in your mouth. Once one portion had been consumed I felt compelled to order another. <br/><br/>Summer truffle dumplings, which had generous amounts of truffle and the Har Gau, with well balanced flavours and again, generous portion sizing. <br/><br/>Castilla y León jasmine tea smoked back rack of ribs, which may I add, are some of the best ribs that I have experienced. They were juicy, sticky and free from any form of fat. I highly recommend any one dinning at Park Chinois to order them. <br/><br/>Feeling rather full from the array of starters, we decided on one dish for main to share, The Park Carbonara, Inaniwa udon, sea urchin, 65˚organic egg and pancetta. This was a show stopping dish that is brought to the table, presented to you with an explanation of the ingredients all before being carefully mixed together, then plated for you with delicate precision. The pancetta was deliciously smoky and the organic egg tasted fantastic. <br/><br/>For dessert and by recommendation of our server, the orange soufflé which had a well balanced combination of sweetness and subtle hints of the orange coming forward without tasting artificial and also the Figs, which were very sweet, but also delicious. <br/><br/>Finally to finish the evening, an espresso martini and complimentary almond biscuits.<br/><br/>Park Chinois is an opulent and glamorous venue, acting like a time machine; not only transporting you back in time to a 1930's Shanghai jazz club, but seemingly making time fly by too quickly from how enjoyable the restaurants atmosphere is. Will I be back? Absolutely.

When you arrive at Park Chinois, you are likely to be greeted by a colorful character with just as much personality as the restaurant itself. PC has a lively atmosphere with down tempo music. Great for birthday get togethers. Food and ambiance are great.
Sarah Bailey
Terrible, terrible service! Seated at 9.30pm, on time, the 20 minutes just to order a drink! The service didn't get better from there. We finally left at 1.30am as it took almost an hour for them to sort out our bill due to adding dishes that we hadn't actually received and over charging for dishes we had. The food was pretty nice and we had some great wines (although the wine list is on the ridiculously expensive side compared to other restaurants of this quality!) I wouldn't return just based on the service alone!

Best restaurant I visited in 2016. What great food and the duck was outstanding and the steam wild sea bass and the park carbonara. I highly recommend this place if you are in london.

The place is fantastic and has a lovely atmosphere for the evening. I was not very impressed with their vegetarian selection. They messed up my vodka order by serving me for the most expensive one and made me pay for it.

I have always found the choice of Chinese restos at the high end in London fairly limited relative to Asia fusion, and hence was happy to try this place - look the dim sum is really good (try the shrimp its a house favourite), we also had the beef for main and a red prawn curry like dish, all were strong flavoured and an enjoyment. The crowd maybe is over the top but thats Mayfair after all nowadays, the staff were courteous although at tines our waiter went missing for 10-15 minutes, will go again.

We were told that if we want to have the same food quality as KAI MAYFAIR, then we should visit the popular and the fancy Park Chinois. The ground floor is more of a fancy/fine dining with staff in white uniforms and a jazz band in the middle of the restaurant however, the lower ground is more of a club-oriented restaurant but with the same menu. Once you get in there, the staff open the doors for you and they escort you to your table. I felt so pampered, I felt like a king for one evening and I loved it. This is how every person is treated in Park Chinois. <br/><br/>Appetisers <br/>Bang bang chicken salad: the salad was extremely delicious with all of the cheese, crunchy chicken and delicious leaves. This is strongly recommended 5/5<br/><br/>Salt and pepper squid: the squid wasn't cooked well, it was I think too crunchy or over cooked (I don't remember). The salad was too spicy as well 3/5<br/><br/>Crunchy duck Spring roll: the roll was fried to perfection and the duck was cooked perfectly. The flavours exploded in my mouth and I am literally drooling as I am writing this review #sorrynotsorry 5/5<br/><br/>Mains<br/>Chicken, groille: the chicken was of high quality and it was mouthwatering. The sauce that came with it was so light, nearly water 3.5/5<br/><br/>Welsh lamb: I didn't like the lamb so much maybe because of the cut. However, I fell in love with the salad that came under it. It was full of crunchy goodness and delicious greens 3.5/5<br/><br/>Angus beef: this was the highlight of our main course. The beef was mouthwatering and devilishly delicious. 5/5<br/><br/>Desserts: <br/>Apple tart: it tasted like sugary baby food 3/5<br/><br/>Sense of touch: I didn't taste it because it was too hard and too cold

Another restaurant by Yau. The ambience and decor is very warm and charming. Takes you back to the 30's in colonial China and probably Vietnam. <br/>The service is excellent and professional with the exception of the guys at entrance who treat you as if they have done you a favour to accept you in spite of having a reservation. <br/>The food is very good but mixed. Some dishes stand out (the ribs for example) some are good (crispy duck rolls), while others are just ok (the Wagyu beef). Not all dishes are Chinese though. Some are Japanese (soft shell crab) and others are Thai (shrimp curry). Desserts are definitely not Chinese. Worth a visit.

The restaurant upstairs is more formal dining. Basement is lounge dining - dark and very decked out. <br/>Service was average. Staff always in a hurry and not courteous on occasions. <br/>Very limited veggie choice. The dim sums were average - chilly one better. <br/>Chilly paneer, edamame and tofu salad was very good. The duck was average - bit too greasy. <br/>Mushroom salad was okay. <br/>Apple tart for desert was excellent. <br/>This is a very pricey restaurant.

I am a huge Alan Yau fan. (in particular Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Duck and Rice, and Cha Cha Moon all on multiple occasions). I have dined here twice, and it's impressive to me how Yau manages to reinvent himself just enough when creating another Chinese inspired restaurant. The dining room is one of my favorites in London, boasting an unrivaled feeling of grandeur. It seamlessly combines, style, glitz, and live music into an amazing and one of a kind space. <br/><br/>Food I think is a touch below quality wise with Yau's other Chinese ventures, while attempting to be more innovative with certain dishes. I think the price tags on some of these dishes (and the cocktails, some clocking in at over 30 quid) are near extortionate though. The price to play ball in Mayfair I suppose.<br/><br/>Baked char siu bao (7/10) - There is an immense amount of skill in the baked dim sum here. The pastry has a crunch that would fill your ears if not for the live music being played. It also manages to be cooked through and moist. Perhaps the sugar used to obtain that crunch is what keeps it from being perfect though. I found the pastry overly sweet. <br/><br/>Venison puff<br/> (7/10) - I'm a sucker for Yau's vensions puffs, wherever he'll serve them. (My favorite incarnation of these are at Yauatcha.) These were capably made. The filling full flavored, the meat tender, the sauce providing moisture to the pastry. The pastry was immensely buttery, while somehow not being greasy. I thought this too was a bit sweet though. <br/><br/>Cornish crab wonton<br/> (5/10) - I thought this was a bit lacking in intensity. Despite swimming in chili oil, there was not much spice or seasoning. The wrappers themselves, while providing a good texture and satisfying chew felt more like a pasta noodle than a wonton. The skins are too make me think of a wonton. <br/><br/>Har Gau<br/> (8/10) - Everything I'm looking for in a har gau. A thin dumpling skin, a mixture of meatiness from the pork while the prawn allows it to have a spongy feeling in the mouth. The filling of the dumpling was flavorful and moist and the roe placed atop the dumplings added a satisfying bite of salt and unique texture.<br/><br/>Check Low Chinese Pasta, prawn, xo, Calabrian Nduja<br/> (9/10) - Spicy, salty, meaty, fishy, all on some deliciously chewy noodles. Everything here feels like it would be missed if absent from the dish. The dish is filled with little dried shrimp and nduja sausage, making it a huge salt bomb. I could eat bowls and bowls of this. <br/><br/>Angus beef short ribs, baby shallot, black bean<br/> (7/10) A good iteration of the Chinese classic featuring the ever so chic beef short rib. The sauce is a real winner (though it may be a bit salty for some.) I'd highly recommend having a bowl of rice to accompany this dish.<br/><br/>Ibérico pork loin katsu, sweet sour caramelised pineapple, heritage tomato (5/10) - There isn't much wrong with this dish. The pork is well prepared, and the sweet and sour sauce delivers on all accounts. Its just entirely unremarkable and comparable to iterations that I would pay half the price for. I'm paying top dollar and the bulk of the plate is filled with large pieces of uncooked, unseasoned vegetables. There was certainly a sour taste left in mouth long after the sauce was gone.<br/><br/>Norwegian King Crab, 5yr Qing Hu rice wine, homemade rice noodle<br/> (4/10) - The crab and the noodles were both wonderful. The sauce was a throwaway and devoid of flavor. I understand wanting such a luxurious ingredient to shine, but the sauce did nothing for the crab nor the noodles. The noodles and crab were both too similar in texture. I don't understand why they were paired. It made the entire dish pretty soft to eat.<br/><br/>I think the consistency of food is higher at the list of Yau establishments at the top of this review, but the ambiance is not something to be missed and the food really does attempt and often times succeed to stand out from Yau's other restaurants.

When you’re married to a person who started eating Chinese food when he was only a few weeks old, the only cuisine that will do for Birthday’s is Chinese. Add to that his love for dim sum and suddenly every Birthday involves some kind of Dim Sum lunch. The only way to make more of what could be a pretty dull trip to the same restaurant each year is to find the newest, most talked about restaurant of the year, and book it as soon as you possibly can.

I originally planned to visit the Hakkassan during my trip in London however I had change of heart when I found out Alan Yau had opened new and trendy Park Chinois. It was more my type of place with 1920's Shanghai glam with live jazz music and elegant glitzy setting. Its located in very posh Mayfair neighbor, it's exclusive with heavy doors without any big flashy sign outside. <br/>As I made my way through I loved the warmth from the beautiful fireplace, I felt as though I was really transported to the glitzy, glam night life of the 20's. The live jazz really heightened the ambiance and it felt more like a dinner show. <br/>I ordered the steamed egg pudding with dried scallops and anchovies, it was perfectly suitable for an appetizer it left my stomach warm and desiring for more food.<br/>For main I asked the waiter for a recommendation and he said tge Angus beef steak with black bean sauce was very good and popular. The portion was big, the steak was so deviliciously delicious. <br/>I also tried their cocktail called 'Millionaire #1'. It was honestly my top best 3 Ive ever had. <br/>If you are taking a girl out for a night, this is the perfect place, look no further.

Park Chinois has been on my list for a while, but I never realized that they did afternoon tea until a friend of mine suggested it. Walking through the heavy red velvet curtains, we are greeted at the front reception desk before being led through another set of doors, above it hung a notice with the words 'On Air'.The red colour theme continues throughout, with interior decorations and furniture that give a 1920's Chinese dance hall feel to it.

Happiness In May
Both food and drinks menu were very exciting and we ended up having two rounds of cocktails each, because we just wanted to try everything!! For the first round of cocktails, I had the ‘Blood Orange Thyme’, while my friend ordered ‘Apricot’ cocktail which were both great. We particularly loved very delicate and elegant cocktail glass that ‘Apricot’ was served in. Then we saw a nearby table ordered a very pretty looking pink cocktail, and wanted to try the same, so the waiting staff for our table went to find out the name of the cocktail, and promptly ordered them for us. The mysterious pink cocktail was called ‘Redcurrant Verjus’ which had a floral aromatic scent yet very light and refreshing. It was certainly the best cocktail we tried from the menu...

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole Park Chinois experience. I was a vegetarian and my friend was not so we tried both. I ordered Potted Pumpkin rice which was delicious, and my friend ordered Guinea Fowl. The setting and atmosphere was so romantic, perfect place for a date, casual people watching, or an entertaining evening for both food and music. I liked that it was sophisticated, elegant yet friendly at the same time. We felt very special while we were there throughout the whole evening, and I sincerely hoped that this atmosphere continued into the future. Unquestionably, it was a breath of fresh air for Mayfair nightlife scene, a much classier and more exciting night out than the usual member’s clubs.

Park Chinois is Alan Yau’s latest opening (he’s the bloke who recently brought us Babaji Pide and Duck&Rice) and it’s a real stunner of a restaurant. I’ve neither been to Shanghai nor lived in the 20s but I imagine this is exactly what it’s like. Everything about the place exudes opulence, from the two doormen, the fireplace by the reception desk and the live band who played for most of the evening.
The Foodie Diaries
So the other night, I stepped back in time and into a sumptuous world far removed from anything that I’ve seen of late. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going in. In a recent FT article, the inventive restaurateur Alan Yau described of his latest venture – Park Chinois – a “1920s dance hall”, with the music “a mixture of the Cotton Club meets Japanese haiku.”
