I had a really great experience there! My partner and I had breakfast. Because I was returning, we received 20% discount (I think every time you return there). The food was amazing! The coffee had options for decaffeinated ☕️ , which we prefer. Additionally, the staff is amazing, and the environment is lovely! I definitely recommended it, especially for those staying in the Zedwell hotel. 👌

Food and service are great. And the opening hours is the best for us after the opera. We’ve ordered omelette, ribs, chicken milanese, butter milk chicken with waffle, bolognese and some drinks. All of them are great especially the banana milkshake and berry-go-round. We, 4 adults and 1 child, visited on 2 Jun and we are from Hong Kong. 😊

Went before our theatre showing and received a free glass of wine with our meal. Restaurant was surprisingly empty first week of January but the atmosphere was nice and service was friendly. On arriving, there was a guy leaving who was bad mouthing the restaurant and food quality. I am so glad we decided to try the place out for ourselves. Steak was cooked exactly as ordered and the burger was very tasty with all the add ons. Can’t fault and will certainly be back!

The food was very good, cannot fault it. The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. And if you are staying in the hotel next door you get a discount. I am very happy with my expirence :)

Went in to get a takeaway and the atmosphere made me stay. The waiter was great and chose a table in a great position. Took my order and didn't keep me waiting. Checked a couple of times to make sure I was happy with my meal.

The fact that they stay open 24 hours is great in itself. Me and my friends went for the breakfast menu and I went for a veg breakfast. It was tasty and enjoyable it was on the slightly costly side however the quality was on point

Luckily on a Saturday evening, not far from London's heart We find this place to get ourselves some dinner. Great pretty busy restaurant!!! With a bit of everything on their menu. Good prices and great food!
Nearby Tottenham court road station, a bit away from hungry shoppers on new oxford street. We did enjoyed our visit for over 2 hours at Vingt-Quatre!!! Recommended !

Always super service and food quality here. Had eggs Royale as per usual. Different this time with the hollandaise sauce slightly grilled. Daughter had her fav pancakes which she adored. My only slight complaint is the Cappaucino soon goes cold so im now going for Americano with milk to add. But the rest is excellent and will return soon

Very cute diner with a really friendly and professional staff and punctual service . The ambience is nice, the prices are reasonable and the staff is highly professional and friendly too. Highly recommended.

Service was terrible had to ask for water three times whilst all other tables had water brought including new guests sitting down. Took a very long.time.to.order and still charged me 12.5% for a tip lol. Food was okay tho

The worst VQ ever! The staff was shouting and swearing at security(Rodger was trying to solve it ( in an altercation. The manager banged on the table and shouting.
When I tried to speak to the manager he ignored me
Three times , he then called me an extortionist when I tried to give my feedback . This is the worst experience I have ever had. The only good person here is the Spanish male waiter ....
Every body was shocked by this restaurant behaviour

Simple. Tasty. Pretty great if you’re after a quick meal (at any hour of the day)! Also, the bacon 🥓 was salty and delicious 🤤

If you have allergies or food intolerances they are super accommodating too!

111A Great Russell Street, London24-hour dining isn’t something we’re really accustomed to, I mean other than students, who fancies breakfast in the afternoon? Well if you are in the minority it’s no surprise really that London has you covered. There are a few establishments dotted around the capital specialising in all-day-all-night dining, a few of them by the name of VQ (Vingt-Quatre) french of course for 24.I was watching a guide to London by Gordon Ramsay which listed some great hidden gems. At the very end of the video, Ramsay recommends a place on the Fulham Road, a branch of VQ, for one of the best breakfasts in the capital at any time you fancy it. Handy for a chef. After comparing reviews of the various outlets of VQ we settled on the Bloomsbury location just beside Tottenham Court Road station. On the approach to the diner the first impressions were very positive. The place looks smart, inviting and nothing like a traditional greasy spoon – more of a sleek, swish place you can picture the likes of Ramsay enjoying his Eggs Florentine and a cappuccino. It’s hard to really recommend a peak time or quiet time to avoid or arrive at as this place does breakfast all day and serves lunch on the day menu and dinner onwards from the night menu. The place certainly doesn’t lack ambition. The menu’s are extensive and even stretch to afternoon tea between 3-6pm at a very modest £4.50 ($6 US). Alcohol is served between 8am-2am (Thursday-Saturday until 4am) making VQ a tidy option after a night out wherever you happen to end up in the capital. We weren’t after booze or lunch, we came for the breakfast. The waiting staff were friendly and gave us the pick of the free tables. We chose the table right beside the large front window for a view of London in motion while we enjoyed our food. The menu is a great size with many tempting breakfast favourites. After much deliberation we settled on Egg’s Benedict at £8,95 ($11.94 US) and Belgian Waffles at £6.95 ($9.27 US)..Drinks here are insane value for London. A Macchiato and an orange juice were just £2 ($2.66 US) each, the Macchiato did come in a small cup but was really good quality for the price. The only slight negative at this point was getting the attention of the staff as by now the place had filled up with a large group and couples out for a late breakfast or early lunch. The waitress gave me an option of ham or bacon on my Benedict, i just couldn’t turn down bacon so on it went! The food actually arrived incredibly quickly but cooked freshly and presented beautifully. The egg’s on my dish were cooked perfectly with a runny yolk. The bacon wasn’t over crispy which is always good and the hollandaise was decent. I’d recommend it.The Waffles were sweet but with a little too much cream although the fresh fruit made up for that. We sat watching other people ordering then diving into their chosen dishes, all of which looked tempting and of decent size portions. After finishing off our breakfast getting the bill wasn’t a problem and neither was the price – £24.07 ($32.01 US) overall which we were happy with.Did VQ blow us away? Not particularly but that said it is a place that serves its purpose – decent food at a decent price at a decent time. If you’re stuck for an option late at night after a long flight or if you’re self catering at a nearby hotel then VQ is an ideal way to start your day. The Egg’s Benedict that I had were the large size serving but you can have a single egg serving with the hollandaise, ham/bacon and muffin for £4.95 ($6.60 US) if you’re on a budget or not as hungry.Opening times: Daily 24 HoursNearest Tube: Tottenham Court Road (Central, Northern Line)Website:

1. I was at VQ on Sunday morning 6:30 am for breakfast
2. Had ordered a veggie breakfast and the guys forgot to bring baked beans along with it. Although it was present in the menu in the dish
3. When I pointed this out, the manager gave a lousy excuse that since there are 2-3 tables full of 7-8 people, the waiter would have been confused
4. Spinach was dry and not cooked well
5. Hash browns were really hard.
6. I had asked the eggs to be made “well done” It seemed like they just rushed through it. It was sunny side up.
7. Only good thing is when I pointed out about the baked beans, the manager was ready to give me a 30 percent discount
8. God knows why this restaurant charges cover charge if they cannot guarantee quality of services
9. On top of this, they were shameless enough to me to mention 2.55 service charge on the bill.
10. Would not recomment this restaurant for a late night/ early morning meal at all.
Pleasantly surprised. When you think of 24/7 you don’t generally think of good quality food. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were really good. Table also ordered the eggs Benedict which was just as good. Service was great and coffee was great. Great location and a great place to visit.

Best thing about this place, 24 hours 😉 perfect place to eat (or pass out) after a long night out getting absolutely smashed 😅. Food wasn't the best, but haven't observed the full menu. All in all check this place out if you're ever nearby 🤙🏽

A rather big 24 hour restaurant that I have probably walked passed a number of times and have never paid attention to it.

My friend chose the place and I followed (ha ha). It must have been down time when I was there as it was not that busy.

We got ordering and I felt like having breakfast (at dinner time as you do) so ordered smoked salmon, eggs, granary toast and avocado. I also got a mint tea.

My friend on the other hand got a burger and fries and also a butterscotch milkshake (I think) which he did not like so returned it.

Service was good but the food was ok. I guess there's not much more you could with salmon and eggs. My friend enjoyed his burger and fries, it's a shame about the milkshake. He said it tasted watery.

Overall, the restaurant is clean and in an ideal location of hungry at any hour.

Vingt-Quatre (better known as VQ) is a Fulham Road staple and is well known for their round the clock breakfasts, burgers and steaks. I was first introduced to VQ a little over a year ago when I was out with a few friends deep into the a.m’s and feeling some food. I pulled out my phone and did a quick Google search to see if there were any decent 24 hour eateries near us and VQ, with it’s numerous positive reviews, stood out like a sore thumb. We thought “What the hell” and gave it a shot… and bloody loved it. VQ is a place that I’ve been wanting to review for quite some time now but have chosen not to for one simple reason… inconsistency. When I first visited The Quatre it was actually their Chelsea branch over on Fulham Road… but seeing as I’ve been to their newer, Bloomsbury branch a lot more, I figured I’d go ahead and base my review on my many visits there. Now you may be thinking that this is kind of unfair on other places we’ve reviewed as they get based off of one single visit and I’m about to write a review on a place that I’ve visited more times than my nan but that’s why we do updated posts like our Orange Buffalo and BRGR.CO reviews. All you’re getting here is a hell of a lot of updated posts condensed into one single post… Did that make sense? I think I’ve confused myself. Anyway, back to the inconsistency problem. It’s no secret that my love fora good English breakfast is bordering on an addiction, all you need to do is read my reviews of The Breakfast Club and Toast to see just how much I adore a good old greasy fry up… And with my first few visits to VQ (both the Chelsea and Bloomsbury branches) I was sure that I’d found the very best breakfast in London. Hell, even Gordan “I tell people their fillet mignon tastes like shit!” Ramsey said so. Their bacon was crispy, the sausage was thick and flavourful and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Sure the “single” option may have been slightly stingy but what do you expect in Central London? I was so sure

VQ (formerly Vingt Quatre) has been an institution on the Fulham Road in Chelsea for 18 years, an awesome 24 hour restaurant, they've just opened a new site in Bloomsbury just off Tottenham Court Road. I first went to VQ at around 8am on New Years Day a couple of years ago, after having around an hours sleep from the night before, and since then I've been at least once a month since. Tuesday evening was the VQ Bloomsbury soft launch, which was basically a chance for the new staff to test the waters and practice on some guinea-pigs who would come back no matter how bad the first practice was. I took along a couple of colleagues on Launch #1, and some friends on the second launch night. Dan had the Super Burger, which is absolutely enormous, and

The menu at VQ offers an all day breakfast, plus lunch and dinner, who doesn't want pancakes at 8pm? Of course there are plenty of cocktails, wine, champagne, beers and milkshakes, pretty much you think of it they have it.

Sure the “single” option may have been slightly stingy but what do you expect in Central London?

I was so sure that these guys did the best breakfast that when a friend from America came over with her sister, asking where the best place to grab an English breakfast was, I cockily told them that I knew just the place… But it didn’t live up to my previous experiences. It wasn’t terrible, but it was nowhere near the standard that they’d reached before.

Even worse, on (I think) my fourth or fifth visit it went even further downhill. The beans, which were equal parts “dog breath” warm and “you ex-girlfriend’s heart” cold, were clearly microwaved. The bacon looked like it’d just taken a swim through a pool of grease and the sausage looked about as appetising as Susan Boyle. It all left me really confused and not too sure I wanted to revisit… But I did. And it was glorious. But the time after that? Meh… The time after that? Amazing… After that? Dreadful. I mean honestly. What’s a man to think?!

I’m really not sure what to say about VQ. I loved this place so damn much after my first few visits but I can’t recommend it anymore… I mean, I could, and whoever visits could love it… But they could hate me for the rest of their life if it’s as godawful as I know it can be.

At the end of the day, I’ve got to say steer clear of VQ… Unless you don’t mind taking a risk. There’s a chance you’ll have the very best breakfast you’ve ever had, but there’s also a chance you’ll have a very strong urge to punch the chef.

If you want to see our other non-food related reviews and features please visit our site.
