Popped in here today & realised we had very little time to catch our trains.
The waitress was super friendly & efficient & said she would put in the order immediately. The food prawn skewers with pineapple salsa arrived super quick..& were utterly delicious 😋
Our drinks were gorgeous but my Margherita was divine. We asked for the bill which was sorted equally quickly.Kudos to the fantastic waitress who was so keen to help & the visit was just flawless! Will be back next time in London 😊💥👏

We went for lunch and the food it was very tasty , nachos with cheese excellent, the steak fajitas incredible and the prawns sublime!
Also I have to mention the staff are amazing providing top customer service!!! The gentleman in the bar and the manager made us enjoy a nice experience!
Highly recommend it!!

The food was some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Tacos with plenty of pull pork, spectacular nachos and enchiladas filled with pull pork. Everything was exquisite. The classic margarita is delicious.
And the atmosphere is very pleasant, it has a very typical Mexican decoration and the waiters are excellent. It is one of my favourite restaurants. And finally, it is a restaurant with normal prices.

Haven't been to a Mexican Restaurant in a while. Living in Germany means every restaurant tastes a bit like German people prefer their food. So I came here and had the best Mexican food I had in a while. I had the spicy (no, it's not spicy at all) Beef Tacos. Plus some extra refried beans, Pico de Gallo and Avocado. I have been to Mexico and Central America a lot so I know how to prepare my Tacos. This has been absolutely fantastic. Had a Modelo light first and a strawberry Margarita after. I can highly recommend this place. The Service was very nice even though they looked a bit concerned about seeing me eating the way I did. It was a great experience. Plus the wall paintings inside are amazing.

Food tastes good, but the portions are a little light. The service was excellent.
Fabrizio Ori
Reliable Mexican restaurant in a quiet area, 5 minutes from Victoria station. Food is not spicy but quite tasty, menu is very comprehensive for Tex Mex. Service charge is low for London standards (10%) without compromising on kindness and cleanliness.
A few months ago I ordered a delivery on UberEats and, again, another positive experience for quesadilla and chilli single-portion sampler (totopos included in each dish). Big portions!
HJ Park (Rebecca)
had Sunday lunch here, not so crowded as many other options nearby that we could enjoy the food. the fried mushroom was good and quesadilla was okay too.

Loco Mexicano is one of the restaurants I most wanted to go when I visited London and I don't regret it. Very good food, nice decor and great service. I will definitely go back there!

Excellent place for a meal or celebration.
Food and cocktails were superb+

First time here. Good Mexican feel atmosphere and the service was good. Enjoyed the mains. They tasted good and were of a decent size. Starters were a let down. Nachos just not up to the standard I expect in a Mexican restaurant.
Overall decent night

The food was amazing flavor and test outstanding. But The Mexican rice was cold and didn't find the actual test of the rice and the chicken was half done not good well however the atmosphere is nice and good.
Service was very slow and the waitress has to be more attentive to the customers. You need to improve the quality of customers' services and food quality.
All of the above was a great dinner with loco Mexicano.
Enjoy the food and beverage.
Good luck for you

Had dinner with friends here, and I would definitely recommend the Sangria. Actually, all the cocktails were very nice. The food was great. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have been to.
The staff were extremely accommodating with a few unusual requests as well as swift and professional.

Lovely meal and so much choice! I suspect I will be going here quite a bit.
Staff were great and prices quite reasonable for the location & quality

I was here yesterday for my baby shower lunch/dinner. The staff were incredibly accommodating especially as we were a large group of excited ladies up and about all the time playing baby shower games and there for 4 whole hours. The staff were brilliant, especially our waitress who was very patient, the barman Brijesh, the waiter who had the mammoth task of sorting out the bill with us. Thank you so much to you all, you helped make it a special day. The food was great, all out in time, the drinks were really good and I would definitely recommend, all those attending also commented on how good it all was. Great location too just by the station. Thank you!

Fantastic, friendly environment and the sever was so efficient. The cocktails 🍸 were delicious! We went for a friend's birthday found it down the road from our hotel. The food had a nice kick, a great range of menu will definitely be back!we got a few items to share because there was so much to try. Can't wait to go back. It was a warm and friendly place to be, with great food, and drinks.

Ok guys !! I have been going to this restaurant for about 10 years ! Never been so badly threatened!
We spend £200 pounds , and we didn't had enough money to leave the tips but there was few changes we left in the table but the Portuguese speaking waiter follow us on the away out and throw the money in to our face ! After spending £200 I don't thing he should have done this !
All waiters and waitress did their job and the food was nice ! Shame about the ending !
Julian Hollier
Beautiful meal, fantastic service, really friendly staff will definitely be going back very soon. Huge portions & lovely cocktails.
Linda Koskinen
Salsa was tasteless and smelled weirdly plastic and our food was covered in think bbq sauce so that other flavours were completely hidden. Obviously these are personal preferences... Beef chili starter was absolutely amazing and tasty. I wish I got it as a main! Same goes with the hard working bartender and perfect margaritas and beautiful mojitos Staff seemed a little unorganised and I felt confused by all different people serving us or even harassing other customers at times due to lack of comunication. Creating everlasting happiness amongst the employees would do wonders to your restaurant.
Naz Mistry
Went here with my Husband for Our wedding Anniversary and I love it !!!!! The cocktails are good and the food is amazing but be warned the potions are huge !!!! I had the ribeye steak and my husband had beef burritos and both were delicious so tasty and came piping hot just how food should be !!! So well done to my Hubby good choice ️

Got taken to this restaurant as a surprise for my bday August 27th and what a great surprise it was. The food was absolutely amazing and the portion sizes were very generous. The waiter was lovely and as he took our order he recommended that we not over order as they were big portions lol so we cut down our order and there was still too much food ha! We pretty much rolled out of there and we loved it haha! Just been talking about it and we definitely want to come back and get fat before the year is out! Best get saving coming from Sheffield lol if I could give a 10* rating I would.

Good portion sizes & very tasty, great atmosphere & not overly priced. Loved the live entertainment

Great place, fab food, kind staff - loved it! It was great!

We came across this place purely by accident, and we were glad we did. Food was excellent and plentiful, even if one of the waiter's was a bit dopey.....

Such a cute and cozy place to have one of the best Mexican food items at reasonable prices , optimal hygienic conditions and punctual service with the help of a really nice and friendly staff.
Priya
Honestly, the best Mexican food I’ve had so far until now! They serve you lip smacking food and to go with it their margaritas take the vibe up a notch. Lovely background music makes you wanna groove and their oh so friendly staff are the highlights.

After having wks of craving mexican whilst travelling through Greece, Italy and france you can imagine my delight in coming across this gem offering up fantastic variety! The smell that hits you upon walking in is fantastic. Busy, yet attended too fast my order was taken just as quickly as delivered to me. Opening up my goodies once I returned home, it all looked so good. Sadly they forgot to add our flour tortillas
For the fajitas we ordered so that was a downer. The guac was much too lemony. The beef was nice as was the chicken but the nachos was just average compared to what I have had in the past. Was a tad disappointed considering the great reviews.

If I could give this restaurant a zero rating I would. The food was ok but the service was terrible. Not only was I kicked by a waiter whilst wearing a cast, they told me that it wouldn't be put into their accident report book as they didn't have one! When I contacted them the next day after experience intense pain and swelling due to the ordeal, I was informed there was no company email address and any correspondence would have to be sent to the personal email of the waiter who took my call. That alone should have set alarm bells ringing! I called again the following day to ask for the manager again - I did and he advised me to continue correspondence via the personal email and he would contact me once he spoke to his legal team to discuss liability. This phone call never came. Not only have Loco Mexicano in Victoria denied liability, they have also denied that I ever contacted them...repeatedly. Makes sense now why they failed to return phone calls and wanted to keep all communication from me via the gmail account of the waiter as they can always claim they didn't receive it. Very dubious company with shady operations - choose a different Mexican restaurant if you can as you're less likely to get injured

One of the best meals of my life. We been down in london for the weekend and had gone to 3 different places for lunch and dinner and found this mexican restaurant just on our way to the hotel that we were staying at and we did try it guess what we did the best thing .the meal was simply wonderful our starters was classic nachos and mussells both hit the spot and we both had steaks which cooked the perfection the service was good and efficent and all of the staff was very helpfull .
This mexican restaurant made our stay in london the best that we had over the year next time when i go down to london i know where i am going to have my meals "Loco mexicano"its a shame we do not have any good mexican restaurants like that up in north of england.
Well folks i would gladly recomment this gem of mexican restaurant to every friend of mine thank you

The rudest service ive ever encountered. Had been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed my time there so decided to go back....four of us went however, due to work, one of us was slightly delayed. We decided to order sangria whilst we waited. We subsequently ordered starters and a bottle of wine whilst are friend made his way to the restaurant. However, things turned sour roughly half an hour later when the manager came over and told us if our friend did come in the next two minutes he would kick us out - even though we had ordered food and drink and were just about to place our order for main. I told him that perhaps he should be more polite to his paying customers and he was unbelievably rude to the point where we nearly left however, to our detriment, we decided we would stay for our main. After the meal i went to complain about the poor attitude of the manager. His response was, and i quote "get out of here...go f*ck yourself". I have never experienced anything like this in my life. It was truly appalling. After spending over a hundred pounds the least he could do was apologise. I was going to go back into the restaurant and demand a refund however the man was so threatening (after then telling me to go f*ck myself again) that i thought it wasn't worth it and it was better to just walk away

DO NOT GO HERE. The manager is the most disgusting individual i have ever come across. Truly shocking.

Shockingly bad. The only authentic thing about this 'Mexican' is the sombreros! The food was terrible; the vegetables in the burritos were easily out of date (brown baby corn?!) and they had been filled out with large, tasteless, chunks of potato. The fish smelt way too fishy, it was a long way off fresh. Staff didn't seem at all interested in the customers, chosing to spend most of the time either chatting on the telephone or standing behind the bar just looking at the diners.
Foodie11
Let me preface this by saying we are originally from Texas, so we know and love Mexican food - this was bad, even compared to bad NYC or Florida Mexican food standards. The stuffed jalapeños, our starter, was cold in the center, so we knew it was going to be bas from that moment on. The enchilada was cold, the chili con carne burger lacked chili con carne, the margarita was awful, and the mojito was made with the wrong type of rum. The staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the drinks were bad, and the food was even worse. We would not recommend it to anyone.
Jay
Terrible!. One of the most disappointing dinner me and my friends have had in a long time. The restaurant is quite small so not really comfortable nor cosy. The staff were not in the mood at all. Most importantly, the food was below average and tasteless. A spoilt evening. Will not return.
Niky
Harassed by manager. Service very poor
Gino
Always good atmosphere but.... Loco Mexicano is a nice place for having a good laugh with mates, colleagues or partner. Cocktails are decent and despite the cold weather outside, the staff try to make you feel like in Mexican canteen. Having visited Loco Mexicano a few times, I can't state this is the best Mexican food around London and this isn't the real Mexican experience either. On the other hand, you will not been disappointed with the food, portions are generous and tasty like many british people enjoy. Chiminchangas, enchilladas and fajitas recommended! On the negatve side, I must point out that cocktail glasses are now much smaller and on my last visit I got charged £1.50 for a tiny bowl of grated cheese and £2 for extra soda water which makes me want to check out other Mexican restaurants before going back to LM.
Bex
Great food, reasonbly priced!. This restaurant was loads of fun (they supply you with mexican hats to wear), the staff was attentive and the food great and cheap too! Brilliant if there's a group of you looking for an unpretentious fun filled evening

HORRIBLE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!. I gave this place 4 chances and boy do i feel silly! I really love mexican food but this place has the worst service in the UK if you can believe that! and the food does not make up for the poor service. Each time i ate there they completely messed up our order. Service does not exist its like you do not exist! They play this HORRIBLE music so loud that you cant hear the person sitting next to you while you eat. the atmosphere is terrible. Believe me i really gave this place several chances but its just down right awful. It is owned by the same person that owns one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Pimlico so its hard for me to write this review. but where they got things so right at the other restaurant this one has failed miserably.

They try to force you to where a sombrero it is truly like some awful fake disney world mexico. NOTHING like the real deal, i truly can not express enough just how horrible the staff and worst of all the manager is! The manager is the biggest joke! He walks around in a Poncho!! Yes seriously he is some weird little man that walks around with a frown in a sombrero and a poncho and I dont think this guy has ever even been to mexico much less from mexico what a loser! He is extremely rude and obviously could care less about his customers. Dont even want to waste my time writing how bad the food as you can tell i took very personally just how horrible my experiences were at the restaurant I hope i can save you the hassle of experiencing this dump!

First night in London . . .. And I drink the best Margarita of my life! This is regular stop for my sister and her husband. I had the veggie burrito and it was delicious! Everyone raved about the food. If you go you have to wear a sombrero and order the guacamole/hummus/salsa trio, it will change your life and have you singing . .Loco Mexicano! Loco Mexicano!
Robert Hoeller
The fajitas were great and very generous, the prices were more than reasonable and the atmosphere was fun. The Margerita pitcher wasn't great, so that's something for them to focus on. Overall it was a good night
Paolo
Great cocktails. A mexican treat in the heart of London with the sombreros and mexican beat!. We quenched ourselves with superb cocktails offered at a great deal on happy hours, the food is good especially the fajitas served sizzling hot!. Some of the serving staff are very friendly especially the asian girls who attended to us. The tables however look awful with those torn, faded and spotted table covers! But i dont recommend you go there on busy nights as you would feel suffocated with its limited space.
Whatever
Worst service experience ever!. My boyfriend and me just found the restaurant by accident last night and were really excited to taste some nice Mexican food. Unfortunately it's been the most disappointing dinner we have had in a long time. The restaurant is small and easy, the table cloth has nothing to do with Mexico and it rather reminds me on an old school canteen back in the days. We were "greeted" by the waiter who obviously wasn't in the mood for work that day. We were directed to a table and I was sitting on the broken bench, really uncomfortable. A moment later another waiter came to ask if we were ready to order. Showing such a disrespectful attitude, I couldn't help myself to give her some indirect piece of my mind. She went back to the bar and spoke to her colleague in their own language.. Polish is suppose. As I am working long time in the customer service industry myself, that's just nasty and unacceptable. Anyway, we orderd the food which came in less than 8 minutes... really fresh, right! I had to kind of grab it myself over the table as the waiter was not bothered to come around to serve us on our table. Maybe we choose the wrong items but my boyfriend being a born Mexican was far away of being impressed by the food. The presentation was buffet style and the taste... well; I rather keep it for my self. When it finally came to an end, the well motivated waiter from the beginning brought me the bill. With absolutely no eye contact she kind of flung the PDQ machine towards my direction.
At the end I couldn't help myself and used the rest rooms. Absolutely disgusting! Dirty, toilet paper everywhere, toilet seat off and the bowl looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time.
Everyone who wants to experience Mexican food with a Latin flair, DO NOT ENTER LOCO MEXICANO!! The money I have spent their could have easily flushed down a toilet... horrible service and lousy food
Tom Warren
Not great food, not even for UK Mexican. Very British/Caucasian man in a sombrero and a poncho standing at the entrance and we were given sombreros to wear when we were seated. That says it all. Not in the same area, but you can't go wrong with Cafe Pacifico.
Aaron McKee
Good drinks and environment, but otherwise far more British than Mexican. I must prefix this by saying that I'm originally Californian and may have either different, or more snobby, tastes on Mexican (or TexMex) food than the typical local. Although I can heartily recommend this place for drinks, will be the first to say that the service has always been good, and that it's generally a fun place to go, the food is so un-authentic that it makes a little part of my cry inside. In its own right, it's entirely fine (well cooked, flavourful, etc.), so this really could be a matter of what you're used to, but it sort of feels like the cookbook has been translated through a few languages between the original and the implementation. I'd probably give the place a 2.5/5 stars, if Urbanspoon gave the option. The place is good in its own right, but if you're questing for a South of the Border taste, keep looking. If you're used to British Mexican food, it's likely a great place.

Good Time Cantina. Loco Mexicano is a typical fun-style, Tex-Mex cantina. It is a place you go for a good time, a good feed and fun drinks. Loud Mexican music, over-the-top Tex-Mex decor, wildly decorated drinks, waiters in ponchos and hats, lively evening crowd and big portions of food all add to the atmosphere.

The food is good, typical Tex-Mex, fresh and very good portions. I had the bean dip starter and then the chicken burrito, all washed down with sangría and finished off with a warm slice of chocolate-pecan pie. It won't win any culinary awards, but I would give it a solid 7 (out of 10).

The waiters were very cute (especially the 2 butch guys with the cowboy hats) and attentive, and the crowd was having a very good time. The prices were modest for the size of the portions.

Definitely a place for you and your mates to go to kick back for a late evening of good food and drinks.
The Picky Glutton
Of all the Tex-Mex restaurants here, Loco Mexicano near Victoria Station is easily the most undignified. The maître d’ wears a poncho and sombrero, while punters drunk enough to have lost their self-respect can don cowboy hats and sombreros.
Sophie
Loco Mexicano was a reasonably priced restaurant with tasty and filling food that comes out fast. I can't vouch for the authenticity of this place, but the restaurant definitely had interesting food. A great place for a for a pit-stop before seeing a show at the Apollo Theatre which left us warm and happy.
Tiffany
Loca Mexicano is doing something right...they know how to please the general public. The place was packed! The prices are cheap and they have a menu that is diverse with enough Mexican sounding items that for most (probably nearly all) visitors they appear totally Mexican.
Sam Harding
I've been here numerous times, I work close by. Well the food is OK but to be honest I don't come for the food. I come to drink cheap cocktails, tequila and have fun. I've never had a bad time here. The sombreros and giant Corona bottles are great props for drunken photos! ;) If looking for a fun night with a group then worth a try, don't come with high expectations for the food though.
Greg
First off the only positive reviews on here if you notice are like 1-2 lines max from people with zero previous reviews! Does not take a rocket scientist after my experience with their TERRIBLE service and even worst quality microwaved frozen food to figure out this is staff / owners writing the positive reviews.

Avoid like the plague, totally faux mexican experience with obnoxiously loud music, ridiculous decorations, obviously frozen food that has been thrown in a microwave and over the top rude obtrusive staff..

Nothing positive to say just avoid!
Chris V
The place has great nachos. Unfortunately, the compliments pretty much end there. They are a very reasonably priced mexican food place in London, however, one can struggle with the menu if you are not ordering fajitas. I had ordered enchiladas and they seemed to be steeped in sauce that made it difficult to distinguish between meat and vegetables even. The margaritas are relatively cheap. The place could have been salvaged by great service, but despite the ambience that falls flat as well.
