Really enjoyed dinner at Moro. My partner’s been before but I have not and he’s always raved about it. I opted for the croquettes for a starter and the mixed veg mezze for a main, between us we shared a bottle of orange wine. Usually we’d go for the typical starter-main-dessert but we were both supe
If you love the tastes and smells of Spain, the eastern Mediterranean and North Africa then Moro is just so tasty. A fantastic lunch of crab, chicken lamb, yoghurt cake with a lovely dark red wine. Great food and atmosphere with friendly staff.
We had the most incredible food in a great atmosphere. The cherry cava aperitivo was so fresh and delicious, and the food was seasonal, beautifully cooked and the portions were generous. I especially loved the chocolate orange tart. The person who served us was really attentive and experienced. High
Love the Moro cookbook and been meaning to visit this restaurant for the past 20 years! Testament to its quality and ethos meant that I could. Loved the bustle and noise of a packed restaurant. Great service, tasty, hearty, healthy food. Kudos to the kitchen team pictured here!
The food was just delicious.
Loving the details, Salt & pepper, table tops, branding, floor tiles…
A restaurant that is full of nice details.
Good meal all around.
If you want to try something new and while having the comfortable feel of a home cooked meal, this is the perfect restaurant.
Great service and food! The place itself is not very fancy or well designed - it’s pretty casual, but the details show more than that.
A bit overpriced, but once you taste the food, you’d get why. The bread is really great and served immediately when seated. We had the 2 different soups and they wer
Came here for our team Christmas lunch. Had never heard of it, but was booked by someone else in the team. As soon as you walk in you can smell the lovely food. We had their Christmas menu which included a bunch of starters to share, a main each and a dessert too. It was all SOOOO DELICIOUS. I’m no
Moro is a great Spanish restaurant - though I'm not 100% sure how authentic Spanish the food is or from what region. Some up-market restaurants explain their background and cuisine type in an area of the menu which can be useful. The food was excellent quality, perhaps a tad overpriced for the porti
Great spot for tapas, love that they open early for dinner as we went at 5ishpm for a pre show bite. Amazing tortilla (even though theirs is a cold version), and probably the best bean soup I’ve ever had. Some other things we had were underseasoned, and some over seasoned but overall still tasty eno
I’ve been going to Moro for over a decade now. It surprises me I have never tired of it. Small tasty and thoughtful appetizers, generous and delicious wood-grilled mains, simple and spot-on deserts. Go once and you will want to go again. Sit at the bar if you are in your own or you can’t get a reser
Delicious sharing starter plates - we had all of them (feta watermelon salad, bean tuna salad, spinach anchovies and mini burgers) and didn’t get round to mains. The bread at the start was fantastic and the toilets very clean - always great signs of a good restaurant. Service was also delivered with
Lunch at Moro
I have used Moro cookbooks for several years but never been to the epicentre! On this visit to London, we made time for a Moro lunch break. Genuine atmosphere with genuine food. There is a reason why Moro has been here for 25 years! Loved the menu, slightly pricey though.
Moro offer an absoluty divine Christmas set menu for groups of eight or more.
I was so excited to enjoy each dish as it came that I completely forgot to take images for later.
The selection of 5 starters to share were all delightful alongside their fluffy sourdough to finish the sauces.
The stand o
Such a lovely time - excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere in one of the most fun streets in London. Menu wise, food was mostly delicious: chicken was succulent and flavorful and lamb and aubergine was divine with the homemade flatbread. Didn’t love the artichoke dish, which was not
Good food, lamb was very nice, in the lovely pedestrianised street of Exmouth Market
I had a very nice time at Moro. The restaurant is on a nice lively street, inside the atmosphere and the decor are simple, elegant and laidback. The food was good and healthily prepared. My partner is vegetarian and found some good options on the menu.
However, as many others say, their prices are q
Delicious birthday lunch on a Friday. Sam Clark was in the restaurant so she kindly signed my book.
Pork belly main was perfect
Yoghurt cake for dessert was super new to me and tasty!
Will be back!
Fantastic meal! I had the beetroot and black cumin soup; the chargrilled lamb with warm potato and feta salad, roasted beet root with hot mint sauce and for dessert the rose and cardamon ice cream. The lamb was cooked to perfection!
The service is as top notch. I would definitely come back to eat
