The Barley Mow - London - Photo album

A nice pub! I was on a day visit from Yorkshire on one of the hottest days of the year. After a day in a badly ventilated room, my visit to the Barley Mow started with an incredible blast of cool air when I walked in, followed by smiling staff and a nice bottle of ginger beer with ice. Just what I
Good staff given how crazy it can get sometimes! The chips are delicious and you never have to wait longer than 15 minutes! Lots of space to stand outside, cosy inside. The ales are great too! They even do a gluten-free beer
Popped in for food when walking through the area. It was very quiet and the server was friendly. Got the pie, which was ok and the parsley sauce it came with was amazing. They had high chairs for children.
Walked in for a quick bite in the evening with our kids. Burgers were great. Good choice of ales. Waiters were friendly and attentive. You have to order in the bar. Terrace was crowded but inside empty, probably due to nice warm weather. Inside its air-conditioning.
Slightly off the beaten track means for a quieter weekday afternoon drink, meal and chat. A large pub with friendly staff and a very tasty vegan burger/chips.
We ate here twice during our week in Westminster. The first time, after being turned away from a couple of other pubs on a Monday night (closed kitchens?), we found this one. They were warm and welcoming. The people inside are exceptionally nice and the food was tasty, classic pub fare. Our second vis
Great food at pretty decent prices for it's location in London. It's a little off the main path so it wasent jammed full of people but the interior and exterior were very pleasant and welcoming. I had the fish and chips with marshy pees. It was very pretty large portions and fresh. Plenty of beer an
Nice, traditional pub just off the beaten track. Decent beers and food. Staff are friendly and helpful.
A great team and pleasant relaxed but very clean venue. You should try it if your in London. 507 bus drops you outside if your travelling from Waterloo.
Food just great! Sweet selection of beers as well; highly recommended
Great vibe and location. Very relaxing setting. 10/10 if you go to Westminster and are tired of the crowds, come relax here
We came here two nights in a row! Wonderful vegan menu and animal food too. Delicious gins and tonic. Very cozy and home like atmosphere
Staying nearby and popped in on a fairly quiet evening. Staff very friendly and informative of the area. Drinks were perfect, bar area was spotless and average price for this part of London.
Large street corner pub with plenty of seating outside. Good range of beer, I had the Doom Bar which was in good condition. Nice food selection, I tried their burger which was larger than I was expecting. The chips were nicely done. Not particularly cheap but good quality.
Best fish and chips I've had. Friendly service, decent prices, and open on a bank holiday. Good go to. Also, vegan friendly options if needed.
