First time trying The Walpole's pandemic takeaway service. We really impressed with quality and portion size. Plenty of Smoked salmon left from the starter for tomorrow's lunch and lots of red cabbage for dinner. It's not cheap but we feel it is very good value.

Excellently executed home style food. Huge portion sizes. Be prepared to be stuffed, but in a very good way. My second time for dinner here and both were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere for dinner with friends.

Outstanding Food and Hospitality. Possibly the best place West of London for local Bistro culture.
We came here as a surprise dinner for my Wife’s birthday, after wanting to try it for ages. The place is small (18 Covers possibly?) and only open for dinner on the weekend. Even though we booked for the last possible table (9pm) the Owner and front of house made us feel incredibly welcome, as if we were regulars.
The food was exceptional. The portions were massive. Try and resist the large slabs of homemade bread if you want to make it to dessert.
The menu changes every week, I’ll be back in no time!

Amazing food in a quirky family run restaurant which is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings. I believe you have to book ahead to avoid disappointment. The portion sizes are generous and delicious. It's a set price for 2 or 3 courses. Bring your own bottle I think but if you run out, there's an off licence a few steps away! Can't wait to go back some time!!!

It’s been a while since we’ve been to our local gem of a restaurant. It don’t disappoint. I opted for the Romney Lamb, absolutely delicious and my son went for the steak option - I don’t think that I’ve ever seen such a big portion of steak before. I rounded off with the chocolate pot. The food is all freshly cooked, great buzz, fab staff, definitely worth a visit!

Great 'homecooked' food for a reasonable price. A good selection of wines and large portion sizes.
If you go as a foursome go for two courses and share the starters and puddings. You will still come out completely stuffed! The ambience is like a small town French restaurant. Love it!

Hidden gem. It’s only open at weekends and very small (so definitely worth booking in advance) but serves really delicious hearty food! I must go back

Excellent food with large portions. A hidden independent gem in Ealing. This establishment is only open Friday and Saturday evening. Husband is the chef and wife runs the restaurant floor. Great service.
