The White Wine was to die for, food was great for everyone at the table although my carbonara was not great but still a great place and fantastic staff.. will return again !
We live down Narrow St. and have been going to La Figa for a few years and have always found the food, atmosphere, service and prices very good. The portions are huge, the staff are attentive, (Pepe is our favourite) and the menu has everything you could want. The lasagne and pizzas are to die for and are the best we've tasted outside Italy and NYC.
If you go in say hello to Carlos the head barman and ask him to make you one of his cocktails but watch out he's a bit of a ladies man. ;-)
The atmosphere at night is great, have a sit at the bar before you go to your table and In the summer if it's warm then the doors are opened and you can enjoy your meal outdoors.
They also do a good takeaway. No need to phone, just go down and enjoy a Peroni at the bar while you wait and if you can't finish your restaurant meal, just ask for a doggie bag to take home! :-)
See you there!
Had a wonderful 50th birthday at La Figa, service was great, food fantastic and good portion size. It made our family celebration a great success
Really good food at a reasonable price, in my opinion. Angelo was warm and friendly, chatting to our kids and setting them riddles to solve and brought out a delicious slice of "grandmother's cake" and sang Happy Birthday when he found out it was my birthday. Sure it's not all corporate hospitality and brand awareness but overall a lovely meal out.
The nicest food!! Really good portions too. The waiter was always super friendly and accommodating. I used to go here a few years ago when I lived there. Returned on a recent visit and was not disappointed. I had the starter of mussels.
Amazing food! Big portions for the great price! Enjoyed everything! Atmosphere inside lacks a little bit of design, but when you try the food you stop caring about it! Totally recommend🤗
A nice Place to be. Price and Quality of the Food are top.
I can honestly say this was a great Italian restaurant. The food was fab, and the portions would satisfy the heartiest of diners. Can't really comment on the atmosphere as we were the only 2 diners there... bit early for the night life.
Highly recommended
I was looking for a bite to eat near my brother's house in Limehouse Marina, but didn't fancy paying Gordon Ramsay's prices. There aren't actually that many places around that area. I decided on a Cappriciosa pizza at La Figa.
As a long-term Thailand expat making a trip back to London, I was horrified at the prices in London, but I guess that £17 for a pizza including service charge is about normal these days.
Anyway, the pizza was huge (much larger than the plate) and very good. I just drank iced, tap water, which was free. This was appreciated. Some places force you to buy expensive bottled water, which is basically the same as free tap water.
The service was excellent with the wait staff being very attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.
All in all, it exceeded my expectations. The food was great, service was excellent, and bearing in mind how expensive everything is in London, not too expensive.
Great place for dining in. Get there early as it fills up pretty quickly. The people are very nice and friendly. Enjoyed the food and drinks offered and those off the menu too (for the mocktail lovers)
I love this restaurant. I go here every year for my birthday because the people are lovely, service is excellent, the food is delicious, drinks are tasty, and we always have a wonderful time. It is not my birthday without a meal here!
We were lucky to get a table on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation, and it was a wonderful evening at La Figa. They serve huge portions indeed :) I thoroughly enjoyed my tuna steak from specials of the day mains. House champagne was decent too. Great place, friendly service. Thank you.
