Amazing burger (California..... prob the best burger I have ever eaten!) and wonderful friendly service. Literally planning a trip back to Clapham just so I can ge another!
I love Honest Burgers, particularly their Clapham outlet. The staff are great, the prices are fair, and their burgers are the best!
First time there and it was grate, burger was beautifull and staff were so friandlie would go again
Some of the Honest Burgers outposts do brunch. Did you know that? Nobody else seems to. We dropped in to their Clapham Common branch early one Saturday morning, hoping to beat the crowds, only to find the restaurant completely empty.
Perhaps everyone was in Fields or Brickwood round the corner. So what do Honest Burgers do for brunch? A big fat fry up for £8.50 (see photos above), stuff on toast (e.g. chipotle bacon beans with a fried egg for £5), and super cheap brunch buns. The Honest bun with smoked bacon, cumberland sausage, fried egg and garlic mushrooms is a mere £5, and ludicrously it comes with a big portion of their rosemary chips too - this isn't marked on the menu by the way, for some reason. Unlimited refill coffee or tea will set you back £1.50, and cocktails are £5. Bargain. Go nuts.
N.B. Only a couple of branches currently offer brunch / breakfast - Clapham, Tooting and Liverpool Street at the time of writing.
In Clapham, brunch is served from 9.30-13.00 every Saturday and Sunday on Venn Street opposite the Clapham Common Picturehouse. During the week (Mon-Thu) you can get a burger and a cinema ticket for £15 - another burger bargain.
I love going to Honest Burger once a month to try their specials.
Last month for December was the Xmas special and its such a pity it always comes around once a year! It includes: beef, bacon, deep fried Bree and cranberry sauce. It is to die for!
For January their special is The Tandoori special. This includes: tandoori beef, halloumi, cucumber raita and mango chutney.
Its Up there with the best burgers I have ever had.
Only downfall is be prepared to queue.
But its worth it!
I've heard a lot about Honest for a while but, not being to bothered about the burger craze, I've not gone out of my way to make a visit. Upon finally sampling, my Honest burger lived up to the reputation - perfectly cooked and juicy with great bacon and onion flavours. The fries were also amazing with the rosemary topping them off nicely. They were perhaps a little salty, but no accompaniment was needed. The aides we had - onion rings and chicken wings - weren't great though. They were a little unnecessary but nonetheless below par. The chicken wings were small, not very meaty and lacked a distinct flavour. The onion rings were similarly dull and not a touch on Bukowski's ( Brixton Village) tobacco onions. Definitely worth a visit for the burgers and fries though and my co-diner said it was better than neighbouring Byron.

Nice seating area out side and good chilled relaxed atmosphere inside. I went for the Clapham Burger, Rosemary Chips and lemonade.
The burger looked exactly like it does on the Honest burger website and was cooked very well. The chips were hot and crispy and flavoursome. Love that its so easy to order a gluten free bun without any fuss, and it was lovely and soft.
Lemonade was really refreshing and tasty
My only criticism was the chips and the bacon in the burger were too salty. I regretted not ordering the coleslaw to break up some of the saltiness.
My server Michael was really friendly and attentive.
Overall a solid and affordable burger place.
Has potential to be better but unfortunately our food felt somewhat under seasoned and not as flavourful as it should be. Ultimately was still nice but won't be rushing back
What a gem. Chips are amazing, the music is a great fit and I've rarely met nicer staff! Absolutely recommend🤩thank you to Bekah, Kirsty and Uma
Grabbed the local Clapham burger and it was tasty, albeit small. The raclette looked more like a slice of cheese and nothing like the photos. Was quite underwhelming, albeit the rest of the menu is relatively good.
They have gluten free buns and Vegan cheese, both are amazing! being dairy free and gluten free it can be tough to find both in a burger shop. They always take my allergies seriously and the rosemary chips (GF) are incredible! I always get great service and the food is consistently delicious.
If you want a burger joint, this is the place.
The menu is perfect, burgers! It doesn’t try to over do it or over complicate things. A few options and variations that hit the mark. Top quality ingredients, well put together and cooked just right. The pricing is spot on and the staff are cool and helpful.
A great location in town.
A simple formula done well.
Love their chips. Some with skin on. The burger was tasty & you ve a choice of doneness for the patty. I chose medium well.
Kinda pricey though
Great burgers!! Do delicious. Just need to fix the banging front door as it’s not pleasant when you’re sat next to it. Lovely to sit and eat outside and staff were good.
Ordered take away and food was (as always) amazing. But, was a little irritated when I saw on my receipt that I paid a service charge for picking up my order. Is this a thing to be expected at all restaurants or are the employees really working for tips? If it's the latter, then we should be given the option to decline or adjust the tip according to the service and not for getting my bag of food handed to me.
Great food, good quality burgers.
One of the UKs favourite burger chains, this is no exception to the quality you've come to expect. The rosemary fries are absolutely amazing, the onion rings are a huge menu item that you should absolutely get, and the burgers are, as the name would imply, honestly amazing. I've had the bacon cheeseburger, the chicken burger and the smash, all amazing, all loaded with flavour, all pretty reasonably priced (for London). Would highly recommend, plus the waitress was super friendly and super cute.
The staff here were super friendly! Jasmin, Julie and Javi were lovely and helpful and recommended us some great burgers. My friend has allergies and she was very knowledgeable about what she could eat. We will definitely be back soon!
Highly recommend ! Delicious burgers and rosemary chips were amazing, would love to go back again!
Always a good time and the exclusive burger at this location is great as well - would recommend.
To have a burger with freshly made warm chips...heaven! My first meal out since lockdown rules were lifted and it was soooo good. Honest was a favourite for takeaways but definitely is better straight from the kitchen. Spring 2.0 was a win!
Always good :) we had The July special chicken well we asked for a extra beef patty Was great. Some onion rings. The onions rings was delicious and crispy. And some chicken wings. The new green sauce was delicious. And I'm almost forgot mention the gravy for me is the best I had tried. 10 star for the staff always nice and quick
The best Honest Burgers experience ever!
Our table was served by Fabio and Jasmine, and Ewa, one of the managers, came round served us our food. The staff are so lovely and lively, and even though it was a busy Friday night, they were so accommodating and so sweet!
Definitely this is a branch to visit if you're ever in the area!
