Marcella - London - Photo album

Really enjoyed our visit to this lovely and unassuming restaurant on Deptford High Street. The simple menu offers some incredible flavours. The restaurant looks really cosy at night and it would be a great spot for a date. Really loved that you could choose to have either a large or a small size pla
Liked the food, especially the pasta and the dessert! The pork belly was too fatty for our liking! The atmosphere was ok, but a bit too loud and echoey 🤷🏻‍♀️
My food was absolutely delicious, the desserts were out of this world but Lucy's pasta dish was very boring
absolutely lovely restaurant ! me and my sister visited a couple weeks ago whilst in deptford and it was lovely - the food was immaculate and the staff were incredibly friendly and lovely to talk to :) will definitely visit again if we happen to be in the area !
Lovely cozy restaurant in the heart of Depford. The friggitielli with nduja starter was the star dish for me, followed by the delicious beef shin ragù pasta and the panna cotta dessert with blackberry ( although the consistency leaned more towards a mousse then a traditional panna cotta). I wasn’t p
The 3 courses for £25 on a Sunday is fantastic value for money. This doesn't mean you get 3 small courses, we left feeling full and happy. The food is inventive and very tasty, a choice of two dishes for each course meant we could find something for everyone. It's a very relaxed vibe with great serv
We went for their Sunday set menu. Really reasonably priced and delicious food. Only 2 options for each course, one meat + one veggie but all were really good. Fresh ingredients and interesting dishes. Staff were friendly and tables comfortable
Cabbage with the bagna cauda sauce was honestly out of this world. Pasta's were nice especially the one with the sausage, although I found the one with the fennel a bit uninteresting. For main we had the octopus which was cooked to perfection. Small menu, kind of two items in each section, which is
This is a nice restaurant on Deptford High Street but overpriced. Wine only sold (rather cynically in my view) in 125ml glasses or bottles, which. when you add 12½% service charge, makes it unlikely you'll depart without paying £100 for two courses for two people, more if you have a meat or fish mai
Delicious Italian food! We were lucky to be seated without a reservation on a Saturday, but I definitely recommend reserving a table if going on the weekend. Service was good, and the food was really tasty and authentically Italian! Easily one of the best spots in East London.. can't recommend it en
Lovely, simple, tasty food. We shared 2 starters and 2 mains and had a cocktail and wine. Good quality food at affordable prices.
Live locally and haven’t been to Marcella for years. Brought a visiting aunt who said it was the best food of her trip so far. Food was excellent and service pretty good too. Will bring more visitors.
The concept of changing menu with the seasonal ingredients is the best part of Marcella. Loved their bread and butter which they bring as a complimentary starter! From the tastes you can say right away that they use high quality ingredients yet I believe the price of the mains are slightly high! The
I have been meaning to visit this place for a while. Dinner was superb, everything was so delicious and cooked to perfection. We both enjoyed it a lot. Lovely wine and amazing dessert, especially the mascarpone cream 😍. This place is always busy, whenever I pass by it is packed, always a good sign,
Had *such* a gorgeous meal at Marcella - delicious wine, great service and yummy food! The small plates were beautiful, and the pasta dishes looked surprisingly simple, but packed a huge flavourful punch. Portions were generous and the meat was cooked perfectly. Special mention to the rhubarb sorbet
