Have eaten here a couple of times. The food is amazing and all the staff are superb. The papaya salad is my favourite dish but everything is great.

We had an amazing lunch here yesterday. The aubergine dish was fantastic and we loved the chicken curry. We often come here for lunch and are never disappointed, the food is always exceptional and service is always good too.

Wow - a really delicious meal! Banh banh was the perfect setting for a group dinner with friends. The papaya salad, sticky chicken wings and pancakes were real stand outs. A great friendly atmosphere - classy and stylish yet perfectly laid back. I'll be taking my parents there next and returning many times after that!

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Food was fresh, not greasy or fat, simply tasty and fulfilling. Also the drinks, great. I had a grapefruit cocktail that was very tasty. Staff is very nice. Inside it's simple but really cozy. Toilets clean. I will definitely come back.

SICK. Best Vietnamese I've had in my life. Would definitely recommend to share as you don't want to miss on anything. Papaya salad, chicken wings and the pork are absurd

Really great little neighbourhood Vietnamese restaurant in Peckham, just opened in 2016 I believe. They have this special dish - Banh Khot - which is tasty and interesting, haven't seen it in other Vietnamese restaurants in London!

Their pho is also surprisingly one the best I've had in London, and I've had many. Soup broth was clear but rich, lots of veg given, and a generous portion for the price (I think it was like £7 or £8 a bowl).

Definitely a go-to place in the Peckham area!

Stumbled upon by accident but will be back, delicious food, great cocktails we had the cocori and mandarita 😍 the house beer (Bia Saigon) was a stand out too. Peggy gave us amazing service but the staff later on were hard to get a hold of :( Will be back for food and cocktails, only bad thing I can say is the dessert wasn't done well, could use a pastry chef maybe? The food itself was delicious but the creme caramel was overcooked and bubbly.

Came in today for a little 🧚🏽‍♀️girl dinner🧚🏽‍♀️ by myself and had such a lovely time!! The atmosphere was very tranquil and nice, not to mention the lovely service by the beautiful and amazing staff !! I was treated so nicely and the food really hit the spot (was craving summer rolls 😛). Such a nice spot for a nice light lunch/dinner. I had the Lychee Collins which was so refreshing and light. Their house Riesling was also very sweet and smooth. The summer rolls are so refreshing and filling😋 Their kimchi is probably the best kimchi I have ever had, tastes so homey and you can tell was made with love. In fact I was told that one of the relatives of the management makes it themselves!! Can’t get more authentic than that ❤️ I suggest you guys stock up because I would so buy a tub x Will be coming again soon ❤️❤️ Big shout out to Hanna and Peggy for taking care of me and ofc everyone else 💗💗 (it’s me, table 20🧚🏽‍♀️)

Went there today for the first time. Had the beef brisket pho which was delicious, the broth was divine. Enjoyed the noodle salad with pork and inhaled the summer rolls because they were that good - especially when mixed with the sauce. Ordered take away and even when we had an issue, it was resolved immediately by the staff who were super kind and efficient. Will definitely return to try more dishes and dine in-house!

Fantastic meal here last night was fortunate enough that there was one extra table meaning we didn't have to book but I would definitely recommend doing so if you want to ensure any larger tables The menu feels very refined and deliberate and is well designed for a sharing environment I had the Pho with beef which was incredibly generously portioned but also perfectly made really delicious and hearty after a long day of walking around the city

Lovely restaurant with good energy, great food and quick service. I don’t usually go for pork but these meat was so tender! The broth of the noodles was fantastic and complex. All the food and two alcoholic drinks came to £40. Would only suggest having an additional vegetarian starter option.

We popped in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and were very happy that they had a seat available for us. The food came out relatively quickly and all staff were friendly and positive, so this helped to justify the 12.5% service charge added to the bill (I'm not saying that service charge is a good thing, servers should simply be paid more. But if it's going to be on the bill as a standard I'm happy to pay it if the service is good). There's a nice buzz in general which is enough to keep a lively atmosphere but still have a conversation at a comfortable level. This was our second visit here. My first time was several years ago during the lunch service which was much quieter as expected. We ordered the spring rolls, pork skewers and beef pho. All the food was super fresh and delicious and whilst I couldn't fault my food, my partner was disappointed that coriander was put into the pho as standard, as opposed to coming on a separate dish similar to some other restaurants. If you can't tolerate coriander, make sure you tell them during your order! In total we spent just over £20 per person. We were both full, but I feel like value could be improved by including meatballs in the pho, instead of a £2 optional extra. If you're in the area and like vietnamese food you should definitely pop in, no question!

I’ve been going to Banh Banh in Peckham for a number of years and always have a great meal at a very reasonable price. My top three dishes are the prawn pancakes, summer rolls and the chicken wings (so good I once ordered a second portion for a dessert!) One of my favourite restaurants in south London.

Fabulous and different Vietnamese menu, service attentive but not intrusive, atmosphere very student-cool… loved this place and will definitely be back semi-regularly. Bonus is that the no. 37 bus stops pretty much out front!

The best Vietnamese restaurant in London and they’re an independent small family chain! I personally love the sticky chicken wings, the spicy noodle pho and the Vietnamese coffee.

Literally amazing. Don’t normally write reviews but this is probably one of the best restaurants in Peckham. Fresh, honest delicious food. Great price, good portions, good value for money, chill staff. Food doesn’t taste oily or too salty. Will be going back for sure. Caters to vegans and vegetarian 🌱

The clay pot tofu with a side of rice was my favourite, the salad was tasty and spicy too, I would order both again. Cocktails were good too. We were so full we didn't have room for dessert.

They have a meat-free monday with such an extensive menu, I wanted to try it all. So much vegan choices, and my goodness - The food was perfect, the service was impeccable. I go there again and again for a reason, please trust me on this - it’ll blow your mind. (Try the BANH CUON STEAMED ROLLS = phenomenal.)

Nice catch up with friends over delicious dinner in Banh Banh. As I understand it's a family business run by siblings. Their food reflects the dishes created by theirgrandma whilst she was a chef in Saigon during the 1940’s. We've had summer rolls and spring rolls to share between 3 as a starter. Simply gorgeous. My other half had very flavoursome pho and me and our friend scrumptious Banh Khot Pancakes. All that lovely food, 3 Saigon beers and 3 lovely 'not G+T' for under £30 per person. On top of all the deliciousness we got very friendly and helpful service. Definitely to be repeated and certainly recommended.
