Born & Bred in north london remember this place as the waggon & horses pub, came here with very good friends last sunday for lunch, had the mixed platter. Fab delicious clean & being on a Sunday busy alive & kicking thoroughly enjoyed well worth it.
Love the food! Ordered platter for a family. Excellent quality, friendly staff, no concerns! Will come back again!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Clean and hygienic. Staff paying attention to details. Ready to help at any moment. Prices are decent and affordable. We had a shared dish for 2, which we paid £33 but there was such an amount of food as we couldn't finish it. Turkish food is something unique that I have always loved and enjoyed, and if there is a good chef who knows how to cook it, then the mix is amazing.
I recommend this restaurant and for sure I'll come back when I'll be in the area.
We had a breakfast with family. It was delicious and rich breakfast. If you are 2, order breakfast for 1, if you are 3-4 order it for 2. Because it will easily satisfy all. I strongly advice especially for those who like Turkish Breakfast. In addition it is quite affordable.
Amazing Turkish food! The adama kofte was so good I finished it in 3 minutes
They serve authentic Turkish food and we generally liked everything we ordered :)
The Lahmacun could have more lamb mince as toppings and thinner in crust.
The complementary “appetiser” they serve for every table was a big bowl of salad, a basket of pita bread and hummus. They were all very delicious 🤤
Iskender lamb was my favourite of all time and the lamb shisha was also tender and juicy.
All the food came in large portion even the starter🤣
We ordered 3 plates of mixed meat mezze plus salad and dips for starters, and it was all good. The service was friendly and attentive, so no complaints here. Would definitely recommend this place for family get-togethers.
Excellent service, we had really nice waiter. Ordered 3 starters on top we got hummus, cajuk salad and bread. Mains are very big portions.
One of the best Turkish restaurants in the area. Food is fresh, vibrant, and plenty of it. Service is superb, and the decor is great. Only challenge is no parking on the premises but if on street parking can't be found, 2 hours parking is free in Asda opposite as a last resort.
Went there for father's day. It didn't disappoint. They were packed with people arriving constantly. But they have plenty of staff. Food was amazing, staff professional and friendly. I will definitely be going back
Kervan has a charm and appeal that has to be experienced to understand, if you can tune out the fact that you’re just off a roundabout in Southgate, you could almost convince yourself that your dining experience is taking place in a distant exotic land. The menu is expansive and delicious, it’s consistent, and for the most part has a good separation of flavour and is beautifully presented.
Second visit here, staff are friendly and polite.
We were told that the seating inside had air-conditioning, so we opted to sit inside on a hot summer's evening. Little did we know that we couldn't feel anything and they just left the doors open, so that was disappointing. There were 5 of us, we ordered the hot meze starter and the sharing platter. It all came fairly quickly. We also got warm Turkish bread and salad on the house, but we ordered chips and houmous. All was lovely but towards the end, service was extremely slow especially when we were waiting for the Turkish tea, which is complimentary, not sure why, it wasnt too busy then either. But they were great in bringing the birthday cake out with a team of staff singing Happy birthday to the birthday girl. Beware that there are quite a few stairs around the restaurant.
Overall it was a pleasant evening, would visit again.
