Very impressive, the food was delicious especially the seafood dish we ordered plus the lamb in fact all 6 tapas we ordered were very tasty, the service was good too and we will be returning, highly recommend!
Excellent as always beautiful food good wine very friendly staff who work very hard Absaloute love the place viva espana!
Our first visit to this tapas bar on Orford Road was stellar: blink and you'd think you were on holiday in Spain instead of Walthamstow, especially with the balmy evenings we had a few weeks ago.
The aubergine batons are a must-order: lightly battered and drizzled in honey, they're irresistible when hot. The mussels and clams are also winners, cooked in white wine and garlic. I was disappointed with our paella mixta, which was over salted and undercooked ... the rice was a bit too hard for my liking and didn't have enough flavor.
Still, I'd take friends and family here but will stick to the tapas for our next visit.
Lovely restaurant with good service and a diverse menu. I would suggest that you book a table as it's really popular especially on weekends. They even do churros con chocolate.
Amazing.
Wouldn't be out of place in Seville. Great menu. Reasonable price, specials always great.
A lovely local tapas restaurant which is larger in size than expected. It has seating in the main restaurant, seating at the back as well as a good sized garden which also has seating some under permanent cover. The food was nice and the service was good too.
This is a brilliant neighbourhood restaurant that serves really authentic, Spanish food with bold flavours. I’ve been here many times and the food is always superb. The wine list includes unusual wines from all over Spain at great prices. Buzzy ambience too and lots of outdoor seating
Very nice restaurant with pleasant efficient staff. Food was served quickly. All dishes ordered were presented really well with a good portion size. Flavours were ok but could have done with more spice for my palette. All in all we had a lovely anniversary dinner that was definately good value for money. I have recommended to friends and will return as it is relatively local.
Lovely service and vibes but the food wasn't that impressive, some things better than others. The calamari and patatas bravas were particularly disappointing... Felt a bit like a British grandma decided to have a go at tapas.
Wouldn't be mad about going back if someone else chose it, but wouldn't choose it myself probably.
Great food and wine. We have a lovely evening. If you want to spend time with a friend chatting and having tapas this is a good place if you are around the area.
Fabulous tapas bar. Lovely and unusual wines from Spain, with great recommendations from manager. Food was all freshly made and very tasty, especially good croquetas de bacalao and a chorizo dish with lentils -- great vegetarian choices too. Tables in pedestrian area out front, and quiet outdoor space in rear garden (some covered). Highly recommended.
Lovely restaurant with good food and service. The patatas bravas was a bit undercooked, which was a shame but other dishes made up for it.
Happy to return next time I’m in the area again.
Second time we’ve been here and we love it!
Definitely would recommend - authentic Spanish tapas and wine.
The octopus was great but the highlight is the squid ink paella
Delicious and authentic tapas in a lively local restaurant with a lovely courtyard for summer evenings. The wine list is fantastic and well priced too - I will be returning.
We didn’t have a reservation but the team were so accommodating and quickly found us a table. The restaurant felt very relaxed, and we had a delicious feast of tapas! We can’t wait to come back and try one of their paellas
