Malaysian Deli - London - Photo album

I am Malaysian and have worked as a Malaysian chef in London and Malaysia. This place is amazing, big portions, well priced and most importantly delicious! Very authentic flavour, just like how you’d get in Malaysia. Will definitely visit again, thank you!
It’s one of the treasures close to home! 🤩 It’s very nice place to enjoy the real Malaysian food! I came with my boyfriend a couple of times and we have always been satisfied. I recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food at extremely good prices. Main dish and dessert for 3 people came to less than £40. Lots of good vegan options. The staff are kind and accomodating - we turned up without a booking on a busy Friday night and they managed to squeeze us in without making us feel rushed. Will
We tried to go a couple of weeks in a row and couldn’t get in on a weekend, so calling and booking in advance highly recommended. The food was actually pretty amazing and there were multiple vegetarian (with the option for vegan), fish and meat options. You can BYOB for a £2 charge too. Would defi
Affordable, yummy and cosy! I've almost tried every single dish on their menu and loved everything. My favourites are the nasi lemak beef rendang, mee mamak goreng and the onion fritters! It's cash only on Wed and Sun, but there are plenty of cash machines along the road. Highly recommend!
It was pleasant surprise to find real Malaysian food in this neighbourhood and I’m obsessed. Nasi Lemak was fresh, authentic and delicious, the meat was tender and flavour was spot on. The teh tarik was strong just like how it should be. Staffs were friendly and attentive. Would recommend to give it
We really enjoyed this place. Food was fresh, delicious and very flavourful. Service was super friendly and attentive but not overbearing. They do a Sunday brunch menu with veggie, vegan and kids options which we will definitely give a go. For those interested they do BYOB. We’ll be back.
My friend was telling me about this lovely Malaysian deli for weeks before I finally managed to make it down. The staff were friendly and welcoming when we came in. Keep in mind that the place is not normally open during the day and opens from 6pm usually with earlier opening times on a Sunday morni
I’m not an expert in Malaysian food, but we really enjoyed our meal. I especially liked the acar awak (pickled veg). The roti were fresh and delicious! And I love pandan so loved the custard dessert. Friendly staff and great prices.
Can't believe we missed such close HALAL southeast asian restaurant near our place! Really good to satisfy our craving of hometown food. Not exactly cheap but we'll take it. However, the nasi lemak is not really lemak but normal nasi, was confused about that, but besides that the food was great!
Best Malaysian restaurant I've come across. Strongly recommend the beef rendang. The chicken curry/roti starter was great too but the roti is usually slightly undercooked
Sensational food, friendly service, a buzzy atmosphere and very authentic. So glad to have discovered this place, thank you! Definitely book ahead 👍🏼
Really good place for a nice meal! Generous portion size of chicken satay! It was juicy, nicely cooked with a thin layer of crispiness and yummy peanut sauce. The chicken randang wasn't over spicy, gave enough kick and flavours are still there. Where you don't just taste chili. Roti went well w
Amazing little restaurant. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They don't serve alcoholic beverages but you can buy them separately and bring it with you. He food is absolutely delicious and for very reasonable price.
I ordered several dishes for takeaway: Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, and Sambal Tempeh. Everything is good and the portion is big. The nasi lemak came with a beef rendang and it is beyond great. The rice is savory and cooked perfectly plus the rendang is tender, tasty, and everything else you would like
A must visit, hidden gem of London. Upon entering we were instantly transported back to the hawker centres of Malaysia. The hospitality is warm, the atmosphere is cosy, as though you have entered a friends home. The food is delicious, frankly, some of the tastiest and most authentic south east Asi
