Great Japanese food.... Well priced and good quality. Self service place with a range of sushi and bento options. Picked up boxes of assorted sushi and a bento with yaki Soba. Quick, efficient and pleasant staff who helped me make a choice.
I must say i was afraid of trying their food, but god if i regret it. Its amazing, tastes good, its kinda cheap (it depends on what you eat). I always like to go around (miso+sushi pieces+bubble tea+noodles/box) so.. You get it. Just a good surprise!!
I have just spent 7 hours on the plane and a hour in a car to reach my final destination, Hammersmith, We haven't been here for over 4 years, so what a change it was to us !!! As soon, as I saw Wasabi, i become very excited about the idea of trying it, loving all things sushi all that !!! Firstly, I was dessapointed because he took me 15 minutes to argue with the manager for them to reheat the cold edamame peas, but they did at this end...
Then, i had a soup with gyoza which was not very tasty, I mean he food was good but the stock tasteless !!! So, I went to ask for soya sauce and was asked to pay for it !!! What pay for soya sauce ??? It probably cost them more money to make to tiny soya bag, rather that adding the right amount to the stock in the first place... Never mind, on my to Soho, where hopefully I will get some good Japonaise food...
After giving it a second thought, the concept behind wasabi is very similar to Pret a Manger, but not yet there !!!
As always Flat Eric...
A 3.5 rating purely because I wish that such a concept existed in Delhi NCR. A great ready-to-go Sushi box and other japanese cuisine options. The chain is spread across all of London and doesn't escape the eye.
I managed to pick up boxes of Sushi combos twice and loved it for the fact that the taste is very close to authentic and the box has a separate section to cut open the soy, wasabi and pickled ginger.
Now hoping this comes to India soon!!
Damn the sushi there is absolutely lovely! I need to write 140 characters to submit this review? Erm...My name is Jeff, jk, it isn't. Hope you have a wonderful day :)
Although the food is meant to be fresh. I think it is hard to balance from the time they make it to the time we buy it. For that reason I would not give 5 star because my salad was a bit too old and slime at the bottom. But I had other times that I ate all fresh. This is then not a bad review, just a touch of awareness to find the balance where the company shall look to find ways (time) that the greens lettuce would not go bad. Perhaps test it and the food containing lettuce should be on display less time than the others. Or even create an option to add salad to our dish as we ask, so it would be given to us, now and then fresh. These are just ideas and options to make the service 100% sparkling beautifully. Nevertheless I do recommend and I will be eating again. Thank you.
A very odd experience: the food was very nice and the staff behind the till was the best, but every-time someone wants to get something from the sushi fridge there is the manager in the middle part of the fridge fixing shelf or just staying there staring at the fridge and I’m not kidding when I say that he stood there for more then 30minutes, while costumers are trying to get something to eat. Next time I’ll rather go to the one in hammersmith station
My 1st time eating here and the food was lovely!
My daughter wanted to try the hot and Spicy Chicken soup. Me and my husband had the pumpkin Bento box and the katsu chicken bento box.
All food tasty and fresh. Reasonably priced too.
Will be visiting the one in Birmingham soon!
Quick service, average prices.
Relaxing and clean environment.
It is not too busy and you can easily get a seat during peak hours. There is a selection of different foods, rice, noodles, sushi...
I know this place for long time, most of the times is clean the service is fast and professional, not too crowded. Only four star for the lack of vegetarian/vegan options available at the time of my visit. Around lunch time it would be appreciated a wider selection available.
I enjoyed the wasabi sushi & bento! was a delicious meal. The salmon with rice is a classic combination that is always a crowd-pleaser.
the price was reasonable as well. Good food doesn't have to be expensive, and it's always a pleasant surprise when you find a tasty meal that doesn't break the bank.
Overall, it sounds like the wasabi sushi & bento is definitely worth trying if you are a fan of sushi and Japanese cuisine. The flavors are sure to delight your taste buds, and the price is reasonable for the quality of the food.
I love Japanese food! Japanese cuisine is known for its fresh ingredients, delicate flavors, and beautiful presentation.
The thing that makes Japanese food so appealing is its health benefits. Many Japanese dishes are low in fat and calories, and are packed with nutrients like protein, fiber, and vitamins. From miso soup to grilled fish, there are plenty of healthy and delicious options to choose from.
Highly recommend for those like salmon
The food here is definitely money for value, and their menu selection has something for everyone, I love it.
The best worker I have seen in Britain (Margit) treats her nicely, and this restaurant has earned her both sides
Tasty Benton and sushi on a clean and modern restaurant. Only complaint was the food could have been a touch hotter, but otherwise very good!
I love this place for low prices and high quality, food is cool and fresh, friendly service
Love the 50% off deal 30 mins before closing daily.
The best and fresh sushi ever!!! Worth the drive truly is!! 🙌🏼
The best affordable sushi 🍣 till now. You won my heart Wasabi ❤️
Simple and straightforward. They gave the best (and perhaps only) vegan sushi I've ever seen. It was fantastic. A great option for people with a variety of diets.
I often have lunch here and although the food is similar to other branches of Wasabi, the staff is really helpful and friendly, and I find that it is never too crowded and there's always room to eat in.
