If you can’t take out time to go to this incredible place then you ain’t sexy enough.
Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.

I loved this place. It has best ambience and best food in town.
The sushi and salad were beyond amazing. I would love to visit this place again and again
Just entered in my favourite restaurants guide!
Awesome food but the most spectacular was the environment!! Awesome for a pre-night out!
We had a crab udon noodle (perfect), a octopus carpaccio (ok), a carabineiro (very good), shirmp tempura (for me was too much oil but they loved) and a fried rice (awesome but too spicy)
Certainly coming back again and recommending to friends
This place is known for their sushi and i must say the shushes are really amazing in taste and presentation. Everyone must try their sushi menu
Rezervasyonsuz kesinlikle kabul etmiyorlar. Servis son derece kibar ve özenli. Seçtiğimiz tüm yemekler harikaydı. Tatlıları özellikle çok başarılı
Fantastic experience! Great energy! Food was delicious. Very welcoming atmosphere. The place is buzzing with positive vibes. And the Staff very kind and attentive. Definitely recommended.
I recently had dinner at SexyFish on a busy Saturday evening. My wife and I had no booking and it is not advisable to do that and we just got lucky as we had a table for us for 1.5 hours. We ordered some avocado and asparagus maki (delicious), mushroom gyoza (came with almonds and it was nice), wok fried noodles (too salty). The food overall was good, the sushi was absolutely brilliant. The setting is great, and the restaurant is a bit expensive. Great experience overall.

Just amazing food . The fish I ordered was amazingly caramelized. Very well seasoned and it tastes very good. The salad also was very well presented and tasty. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
The food is ok, but no fireworks! The setting is hip with nice crowd and nice music. Dinner can get a bit too busy, so it could be a nice outing rather than for a business dinner or a quiet romantic one...
One of the best places to visit in London!
The interior is beautiful, with a giant aquarium in the lower ground that is well worth to visit!
The food is delicious as usual and the atmosphere is amazing at night!
Top place recommended in London!!
Amazing restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, food so so good albeit priced a bit on the higher side, lovely place for a dressy evening with loads of instagramable aspects.
Sexy Fish has nice interior and located next to some of London’s best restaurants so you would expect it to be on par with them. But unfortunately it just isn’t. It’s very expensive for what it is. The Asian food they serve is OK, nothing special. Novikov Asian is better. Would not recommend it as there are better restaurants out there
Very good food, the sushi is amazing. The vibes are good and the waiters are well informed and very helpful with menu, would 100% visit again.
Everything we ate was perfect from the virgin mojito to the yummiest cheesecake ever !! The calamari, soft shells crab , tempura , beef etc alll was sooo good!! The ambiance is lovely and the price was worth for 4 people
Good Ambience and Decent Service.
Wide wide selection of Japanese Single Malt with an interesting scotch whisky and single malt menu.
Prices were a bit high but this is Mayfair.
Place is nice but for the price there are better options available.
This place is beyond beautiful, there are so many beautiful art works all over the restaurants and the ambience is amazing. Sexy Fish has delicious sushi, signature Japanese dishes and lots more seafood dishes. The waiter advised we order 6-8 dishes to share so we got 3 signature sushi rolls, 3 varieties sashimi platter, scallops and mixed vegetable tempura.
Overview
At the restaurant itself are a choice of 4 Non-alcoholic cocktails on offer: Seedside, Virgin Bellini, Driver’s Julep and Jasmine.
Seedside
What is it? : A tall clear refreshing glass of summer flavoured with spice
What does it taste like?
Gin, a spirit deriving from juniper berries, is the idea behind this drink. It starts of by using the alcohol free spirit, Seedlip Garden , which is noted for its grassy, floral taste as a base, and thus providing the setting for this concoction. Then, a touch of lime juice and mint are added to enhance it’s already entwined with nature taste. To bring these flavours to life, a touch of sugar is added to sweeten it off, and then finally topped with soda. The subtlety, not usually associated with a mocktail, are surprising and is the start of a very grown-up drink, and not just an overdose of sugar upon sugar, like most mocktails.
The light touch, works well, with the predominantly fish dinner and provided a subtle backdrop to the meal itself. The sharpness of the base drink, cuts through any sweet or heavy sauces.
Price: £7
Availability? : This drink was created by SexyFish Restaurant, London but you may re-create it using Seedlip Garden.
Jasmine
What is it? : A sweet, fruity, sophisticated drink
What does it taste like?
This tropical beauty blends pineapple, strawberry and jasmine to give a smooth sweet taste. To give it that added silky edge, a dash of egg white is added. Lastly, a touch of lime finishes this drink and is sophisticatedly served in a coupette glass. The tropical fruits complement each other while the jasmine, a subtly sweet flavour compliments the sweet tones highlighted in this mocktail.
The sweet drink is sipped slowly through dinner complimenting the light dinner. Alternatively, it could also work well as a contrast with hearty or meatier dishes.
Price: £7
Availability? : This drink was created by SexyFish Restaurant, London but you may re-create it using jasmine and serving in a coupette glass.
Good decoration• very nice ambiance• a bit expensive tho!
••• This place has an excellent quality of fresh sea food!
••• cocktails are really good; however a bit overrated
•To try•
Çok güzel dekorasyon çok kalabalık ortam dj süper çalıyor müzikler çok iyi... yemekler yıkılıyor Londradaysanız mutlaka gelin haftasonu için çok iyi bir seçimm
10/10 with almost everything ! Great ambience : great seating esp high tables nr the window overlooking Berkley sq. Yellowtail; Skewers; Spicy Rice & sashimi platter were the best tasting. Alwaz busy so getting a table is a reward in itself !!
Totally love this place. Although it's not a kind of place I have never seen before but it still have impressed me in every way. Service, ambience, food taste and quality were all top notch. Had a great dinner. The Popcorn OldFashioned drink was something different but I didn't like it 🤣 everything else was great.
I like the location, the place is great for lunch but that food isn't that great. my one favorite dish is the raw octopus the sauce is amazing i usually order 2 portions.
Definitely one of the best if it wasn't the best fine dining restaurants I've visited in London. Highly recommended either for a dinner or just a drink and dessert. Had their sushis, yellowtile and grilled beef. Great customer service experience was outstanding. Well done loved the concept.
Excellent food , quality of fish and ingredients are good , and there service is excellent . Ambience is excellent , and bit difficult to get table .
Nice place to eat, great art decor with lively atmosphere . In very friendly service. I really liked the Frank Gehry white fish at the bar. Worth visiting
Really good place. Fine dinning. Good wine. Excellent service and amazing seafood. Really recommend that you give it a shot. Must reserve before going.
It was my third visit to Sexy Fish, food is over the top, excellent meal which you definitely should not miss in London. However, the place is overpriced, however, it is worth every penny you spend, great ambiance, service and food. The guest service on the entrance were very accommodating and provided us with the table which we reserved within minutes after arrival.

Sexy Fish. Not two things you usually associate with each other, but when you have a look at the amazing interior, I can see why they chose the name. I’m not usually into hype and there’s been no shortage for Sexy Fish but the Japanese restaurant pretty much lives up to it. And yes, I know it’s annoying to have to book a month ahead of time. I actually had a reservation when Sexy Fish first opened but had to cancel. However, this Saturday, we just walked right in and sat at one of the high tables near the bar for lunch. TIP! You can also go by 6pm during the week before all the hedge funds let out and try to get a seat at the bar and you’d probably do well.
Had a wonderful time! The ambiance was great and the staff was very friendly and the food was very well made and tasted great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sexy Fish opened with a bang last October. Owned by Caprice Holdings and with the perfect location in Berkeley Square, a glamorous interior designed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, and killer cocktail list; all the ingredients were there for the restaurant to be the next big thing. Perhaps it would steal the crown from Chiltern Firehouse as the up and coming A-List hang out?
As a little birthday treat to myself I decided that I would snap up the chance to book a table for the one and only, and oh-so-trendy, Sexy Fish restaurant on the corner of Berkeley Square. What I actually did was try to book a table four months in advance, and then set myself a little reminder to go back exactly a month before my birthday to book a table. I was determined to get a table at the Asian fish and seafood restaurant. Oh yes. Luckily my precise planning paid off, I did get a table, and I didn’t have long to wait when 20 June came round. After a slight hiccup (I was flying back from Amsterdam that day - both my flight and the train from the airport were delayed) I got there, albeit half an hour late. The staff were very accommodating however, as my friends arrived on time, and explained the situation. Note, you’re given a two hour table time. So, finally, I could relax and we got stuck in! The dishes work in the new trendy way - which is small plates to share tapas style. The waiter recommend three dishes each but we were informed that if we ordered too much he would let us know which was awfully helpful of him. It was a very difficult decision as we wanted to order one of each dish, alas our wallets would not allow it. I was also very envious of the table next to us who had the whole ice platter with sashimi shebang thing in the middle of the table. To start:
Very nice venue, refined Japanese dishes, great atmosphere, good service, located in the heart of Mayfair. We went there for a Saturday lunch. Will definitely go back.
Book in advance.
Sexy Fish is a very very Mayfair place. It serves Chotto Matte type food to a Novikov type crowd in an elaborately decked out setting.
The restaurant is actually pretty cool and the food is good. The highlights of the menu are in the Robata grill section. Other items (rolls, tartare, dumplings etc..) are good but not too exciting.
All in all, I would be happy to go back but I'm not in a rush to do so.
All photos are NHYM apart from this one, generously borrowed from the restaurant’s website. NHYM 2016. Design: 4.5 stars. Service: 3.5 stars. Atmosphere: 4 stars. Overall: 3.75 stars . ‘I have never seen a restaurant whose ethos is so clearly and comprehensively, so preeningly and unapologetically: ‘I’m rich and I want a golden cave and servants. I want a pony and all the hookers I can strangle. I want a pyramid of cocaine and an Audi -Quattro.’ It is like being punched in the face by Abu Dhabi.’
In the end, I had to put my splayed fingers on the glass, covering the faces of the paparazzi, their noses pressed to the window. They were hoping to catch a glimpse of Rita Ora. I can’t imagine that they were particularly interested in Piers Morgan, sitting a couple of tables away, but really, who can blame them?
Mr Silver knows he has a rather demanding wife who has high expectations for everything, particularly her birthday. Well, he married me and now he has to put up with me…He’s well aware that the choice of venue for our special birthday date night is an important decision that rests heavy on his shoulders and fortunately as his birthday is only five weeks before mine I’d already set the standard by taking him to Zuma. But this year ‘the boy did good’ and booked the hottest ticket in town. The latest restaurant by Caprice Holdings: Sexy Fish. And with a name like that you know they’ll be setting the bar high.
Trouted as the hottest opening of the year, the plaice has been making waves in Berkeley Square ever since the indomitable restaurateur Richard Caring took over the site of a former Natwest bank in early 2014. From the extravagant artwork to onyx marble floors and no-expense-spared interiors by Martin Brudnizki, it’s seariously all we’ve been herring about.
There’s no getting away from the name Sexy Fish – it’s pretty garish. But then again, it’s the new restaurant from Richard Caring (The Ivy, Scott’s, J Sheekey et al) so a bit of opulent flamboyance is to be expected. The dining room is exactly that – times ten. A bar, top and tailed with Damien Hirst mermaids, a wall with cascading water, salmon banquettes, staff wearing jazzy jackets (some velour), an open kitchen next to a display of fish on ice; the whole thing is big and brash but quite simply stunning.
Excellent food, I recommend the pre-set menu which sometimes gets people out of their comfort zone eating things they would not eat regularly. Cocktails also amazing. Prices comparable to similar restaurants in NYC. I like that it transforms from a restaurant atmosphere to a club atmosphere throughout the night. Service was excellent.
After hearing mixed reviews on this place I was hesitant to book, so I opted for lunch and went for the set menu.
Great value for a Mayfair name and would definitely go again.
Food wise all pretty amazing, presentation for a set lunch menu was delicate and inviting.
The only course I was not keen on was the tempura black cod - not for me but my friend loved it. Being a fan of black cod I felt it was too overpowering for the delicate cod which hid inside.
Service great but some lack of knowledge of wine menu was a little disappointing, and we did wait a while for drinks.
Atmosphere not amazing but it was a Tuesday afternoon so I can imagine this place is buzzing in the evening.
Loved the over the top decor and it was obvious it was part of The Ivy group, which I love.
Definitely good spot for a nice lunch and would go again.
A must do in London. The dining room is beautiful and well decorated. Great cocktails, awesome sake selection. The food is very good but nothing crazy. I really liked the vibe and the shows. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely come back!
Incredible atmosphere, with a very suggesting decor. Sexy Fish really stands up with a great customer and amazing food.
The menu is quite rich and a lot of interesting dishes, also well described.
In terms of drinks, also a large selection and well displayed on their menu. However, it would be interesting to know more about the arome and intensity of the drink (basically how strong it is).
overall, I def recommend 👌
Incredible dining experience, we ordered a few dishes to share. The caramelised black cod and Salt and pepper squid were absolutely delicious 😋! Great music and ambience, quite busy for a Monday but can still hear one another over the music. Staff were amazing, explained each dish well. Only thing I would suggest is a wider range of mocktails. Otherwise everything was great!
The venue is cool and they have a Dj and dancers on the weekend.
The food is good quality and amazingly presented.
The staff polite and attentive.
However the whole dinner experience seemed a bit rushed and I’m not impatient to go back or recommend it to friends that’s why I am giving it 4 starts.
Also, if you want to go for the taster menu and one in the group is vegetarian or has other dietary requirements then the dishes need to be changed for the whole table rather than accommodate just the one person, I found this a bit of a let down. And each course is not individual but just a big portion to share, wasn’t a fan of this either.
best place ever. might be hard to get in if you don’t have a reservation but you can always get a drink. very expensive sushi but worth it. super nice staff and the atmosphere is really a vibe. their cheesecake is delicious
We had the lunchtime special. Although it wasn't cheap it was still relatively affordable as far as Sexy Fish prices go. The decor isn't for me, too busy, same for the outfits of the servers, nevertheless the food was good and is worth a visit.
Great cocktail bar, the bartender takes the time to talk you through your preferences and suggests a few options. Would return for more cocktails, didn't have any food this time. Atmosphere was good at around 10pm, some people may not like the loud music but I didn't mind too much!

I was not familiar with this type of restaurant. Great ambience, very stylish interior with matching corporate identity and attentive service (noticed which drink I wanted without me having to ask). There is a DJ playing music in the restaurant, from 10pm onwards the restaurant mutates into a kind of club. The food was formidable and served in an appealing way. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in London.
Enjoyed a 5-course dinner in The Coral Room. Was an absolute delight! Each dish was delicious and unique- got to try so much amazing food, and was filled by the end. The atmosphere was lovely, with a completely private room and bar, large aquariums either side. Staff was very friendly. Couldn't recommend enough!
Receptionist wasn’t welcoming. As soon as we walked in, I felt been judged by the way she was looking at us. Hardly any smile on her face.
Food was nice. We ordered lunch menu which was very valuable for money. We added few other dishes such as lobster, scallops and King prawn. Waitress was friendly.
Food was absolutely delicious. I dined here on 03/08 and the duck watermelon salad….yum yum yum the black cod was also good. Service was great but one waiter. Regardless we had a blast.
Instagram fabulous decor 👌🏾 tasty food especially the 'two' scallops which were divine. The best dish was the Sexy Fish 🐟 stuffed with Passion Fruit, Pistachio and cream...stunningly presented. It was a special occasion and for the price a one off but worth the visit
I’ve just dinned in recently on the 22/08/2023. First time at Sexyfish. I was surprise how good the food was. I love it! Friendly welcomed. Well mannered staff and excellent service. Food was delicious including a fantastic atmosphere. We were served by Loreley, table 1. It was quick & fast, along with her professional skills when taking orders and her knowledge about drink recommendations, very detailed and well explained. I’d highly recommend Sexyfish to our friends and would definitely come back again!
Wonderful, fabulously inventive food. BUT...
While the music was creative and enjoyable, it was incredibly loud and meant we had to shout to hear each other.
Why is there a cover charge per person?
Why is the service a massive 14.5% as standard? Normal is 10-12.5%. Your food is exceptional, as are the prices so I don't get why the excessive extras?
Drinks too were extortionate prices for 50-60ml for most drinks!
Apart from one waitress, I've never met a bunch of more pretentious waiting staff who couldn't have looked down their noses more than they did. When we said we won't be having wine, the waiter couldn't have looked less interested in us anymore. You may as well say that 'only multimillionaires are allowed' and forget the rest.
Sexy Fish is a trendy seafood restaurant located in Mayfair, London that offers a unique dining experience with its stylish decor and impressive menu. The restaurant's interior is luxurious and visually stunning, with a bold and contemporary design that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
As for the food, it is simply delicious. The menu is focused on seafood and sushi, and the dishes are expertly crafted with the freshest ingredients. The sushi is particularly noteworthy, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including both traditional and more experimental rolls. The seafood dishes are also exceptional, with the restaurant offering a diverse range of options to cater to all tastes.
The service at Sexy Fish is also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who are happy to assist with any queries or requests. The wait staff are well-informed about the menu and are always on hand to provide recommendations or offer advice.
Overall, I highly recommend Sexy Fish for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in London. The delicious food, stylish decor and friendly service make this restaurant a standout choice for seafood lovers and sushi enthusiasts alike.
