We have Christmas do’s here and we there yesterday (31st May 2018) got d Birthday party and we had a great night. Wonderful food and lovely staff!
We had a wonderful meal at Gallipoli Again, the food is excellent! Highly recommend it.
Everything has aligned in the creation of this restaurant; from the quirky wall art and ambient lighting to the amazing turkish menu. I came here with a group of 5 and we each ordered different items from the menu, none of which failed to impress. The only negative was that the space was a bit overcrowded and stuffy, but this would definitely not deter me from eating here again.
Amazing cocktails, wonderful food. The chefs and bar tenders are very successful. Turkish staffs are so friendly. Great atmosphere, good service. We’ll come back. They need to serve “Tabbouleh” again.

Hands down best Turkish restaurant in London! The interiors of this place are mesmerizing and the walls are so pretty with a lot of glass art! Any table would get you a beautiful view which does enhance the finding experience. Since we were vegetarian, the menu at many places was restricting I felt. But this place was an exception! Had so many variety of vegetarian you'd be glad to try them all. And so we did
Called for a vegetarian mezzo platter consisting tasters of hummus, cacik, borek, potato salad, saksura, bakla , kisir and falafel! Sure to be enough for two people mind you we came empty stomach and this was great!
Also ordered dolma and some toasted bread to go along with the hummus!
Absolute treat!! The flavours of each dish were distinct and so powerful while we enjoyed the dolma, kisir, borek and the hummus the best! Everything else is a must must try!
We also had one of their Turkish teas and the presentation of it was bang on. So pretty I could just stare at it all the time. The tea was served in authentic Turkish tea pots which added to the whole experience and we were also given complimentary Turkish coffee which tasted amazing too. A little too bitter for my liking but my sister enjoyed it. Overall the staff was super cordial and friendly. They are well versed with the dishes on the menu and provide prompt service. They guided us with the selections and I'm glad I visited this place while I was there. For all this we spent a mere 15£ and no disappointments.

An absolute gem nestled in Angel in London. You CANNOT miss this! The most delicious Turkish meal you'll try!
MUST try on the menu is the vegetarian meze platter, it includes a taster each of humus, kisir, bakla, cavil, soslu paltican, potato salad, borek and falafel. Perfect for 2 with their grilled bread basket which in itself was heavenly.
Absolutely loved dolma, kisir and cacik. Cannot beat the natural creamy texture and flavour of their hummus.
Wash down your meal with the tongue tingling Turkish Apple tea or the traditional Turkish coffee.
An average meal if planned right would cost less than £30 for 2 people. We came empty stomach and spent £15!!
The experience is worth putting down a £50 for. It's one of the best places to bring a guest for global cuisine experiments.
Personal rating 10/10. Amazing staff, they know their menu and dishes, seem to be of Turkish origin, attentive, helpful. The food can't be faulted, their presentation is perfect, quantity and value for money doesn't get better and the decor is a heart stealer. Really don't see why anyone would need any convincing to come here.
I've moved country, but still think of this restaurant... Great food and atmosphere. Would recommend the tajines and pretty much everything else. Order several dishes so you can try them out and never mind what is in them. Enjoy.
There are three similar restaurants along Upper Street for these Gallipoli
restaurants – some have an outside area at the back of the restaurant and
others have seating outside at the front. I visited this restaurant on a
voucher and received 10 mezze dishes and a glass of prosecco for two people for
£20. What a bargain. The staff were friendly and the food was wholesome and
plentiful. The full prices are reasonable and portion wise you probably only
need 7/8 mezze dishes. Would visit again.
Celebrations are important and it’s good to acknowledge achievements, no matter how big or small. After an intense and busy couple of months, that was exactly what our evening out at Gallipoli Again was. A time to relax, catch up and reflect on the successes of the past few months. Gallipoli Again is part of the Gallipoli family of restaurants on Upper Street. Clusters of ornate lanterns hang from the ceiling creating a soft ambient atmosphere. Carved wooden shelves, walls lined with pictures and dark furniture sets the scene for the restaurant. There is definitely a lovely warmth about the place. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and gave us good service. A feast for the evening was called for and nothing less was on our minds. The Gallipoli Mixed Mezze seemed to have a good selection of the dishes and it saved us from having to make the hard decision of which of the many starters to chose from.

Gallipoli has become the staple restaurant of Islington with no less than three establishment’s on Upper Street alone. As an Upper Street regular myself, I am familiar with all three and ‘Gallipoli Again’ is my personal favourite. It’s a great venue for both day and night. The large windows at the back of the restaurant mean that it is somewhat lighter than the other restaurants during the day; one of the distinctive features of Gallipoli is its traditional Turkish décor which includes heavy lampshades which means the other restaurants are eternally quite dark.
I can do nothing but praise the food of Gallipoli. The meze is extremely reasonably priced; a plate for two (which, if being eaten as a starter is definitely enough for four) which comes with limitless bread and spicy sauce on request costs £12.50, and includes all the highlights from the a la carte meze menu. I always go for the 102 Upper Street special for my main because I am obsessed with the way this restaurant cooks all meat so find it a trauma deciding what to have; this dish serves lamb kofta, lamb skewer and chicken skewer so is a huge treat. I also love the fish here; the salmon and prawns are always beautifully cooked. I’m not sure how they season the rice here but I it has a distinctive taste that I love, and which goes beautifully with the fresh salad served with every dish.
My only criticism would be for the house white wine which is slightly acidic, but this can be avoided by going for a bottle of Efes, a Turkish beer which is light and refreshing.

The decor is incredible, very beautiful and upbeat vibes. The place is very big and spacious with 4 different seating sections, each with a slightly different decor but all lovely.
Great for large groups and small both.
The menu is huge with a ton of options all across.
Food was delish!! So yummy, it’s the best Turkish food I have eaten. I got a chicken dish - very juicy, well marinated and fresh.
The hosts & staff are very nice and welcoming as well.

Amazing food, wonderful staff. They don't have your typical platters and dishes here, so if you know what you like, check the menu before going. I recommend the lamb shish, the meat was so delicious.
Mocktails aren't great, stick to soft drink or water.
I went for Turkish breakfast staff was so friendly and the food was decent enough. It was £15 pp and if you want menemen it charge £5. Definitely would come here to try more food.

My partner and I wanted some us-time away from the kids so we decided to walk around in the area and this hidden gem caught our eyes!
Entrance - Outside looking in, you would assume that it is a small restaurant but once you enter, it’s a completely different ball game! The restaurant is so spacious & beautiful !
Food - We had king prawns and Halloumi as a starter and the 120 Upper Street Special as a main! The starters were lovely, cooked from fresh & they even gave us mini bowls to wash our hands in.
The mains looked small but my God it was filling. Again, cooked from fresh, fresh salad and the chilli sauce was amazing !!
Drinks - My partner ordered two cocktails and I ordered a bottle of wine! Very nice!
Decor - Decor was lovely. Very traditional. It was like being in Turkey. Sevilmi!
Cleanliness - Very clean, the toilets were also very clean too.
Customer service - Was amazing! All staff were very pleasant and attentive.
Overall - Was dining for about an hour. Would I return? Absolutely! Such an amazing experience and a credit to Turkey!

Lovely Mediterranean restaurant, service was great, one of our party was running late and we were waiting quite a while but we never felt rushed. Food was delicious, we decided on sharing a lot of tapas type starters. Portions were very generous and absolutely yummy!. A first class meal, highly recommend 👍
Lovely place overall! The food was lovely, the atmosphere was brilliant! Nice ambience. They have a good variety of food but not so much on the drinks side but aside from that, it's been fantastic!

Great theatre and if you see a play this year, this little gem should be it. The Dollhouse was adapted brilliantly. Ends in October.. So get yourself a ticket. Just go and see anything as my first attendance will see me going back. The staff are lovely and drinks are reasonably priced.
A fantastic find, everything is delicious and fresh particularly the salad (I'm not even a salad guy lol) - comfy seats friendly service, I got carried away and ordered too much but it was soo good I can't be mad at myself!
