An absolute joy to have partaking with one glorious pint of London Pride and the food service was 'outa this world'! Such one friendly atmosphere and well recommended! Ideal to while away the time and rail timetable a most handy convenience!

This train station pub is part of Fuller chain and run promos for members of their mailing list. The food is nice, and drinks choices are plentiful. Most staff are Spanish and very friendly. Would happily visit again.

Great and confortable little space. Amazing chicken club sandwich and a great cup of tea. The only downside was the bacon, to saltie for my taste but overall a great place for a quick meal before you catch the train.

This is a cool place. I have rated it a little high perhaps because I had such a nice time here. Used it as a pick up and drop off point for Paddington station (naturellement) and have had over 2 stays the pulled pork nachos and also the sausage & mash with spring greens.

I have to say the nachos were the most luscious and superb nachos ever. Admittedly I was quite drunk but that normally makes me more judgemental...

The sausage & mash was a second choice as I had actually wanted the sweet potato curry. However! When they realised they were out of that I was invited to choose whatever I liked from the menu & would have had a refund if it had cost less. I'll put it this way, I wanted the curry, but I loved the sausages.

Thanks The Mad Bishop & Bear. You were a beautiful backdrop for an amazing weekend.

This is a hidden gem upstairs of Paddington station. The staff are so lovely and the place is really spacious with the traditional feel of an English pub. They serve my favourite Japanese Asahi beer on tap! Which is the highlight for me ☺️ Today we had the Smoked Salmon with watercress and brown bread. And the Fish Finger Sandwich with chips. Everything was SO good. The chips were crispy and buttery, the smoked salmon was super soft and delicious. I will definitely come here again and again for food or drinks . Please check it out if you’re at Paddington station area. Just find the shopping corner where you’ll see Boots, Accessorize etc and it’s upstairs from there.

This is really an interesting hidden gem inside the London Paddington. Amazing draft beer and vegan friendly restaurant. Perfect place to relax while waiting for the train. Ask them for today’s beer on tap. The vegan menu doesn’t have many options. They accept cash and card.

As railway station pubs go it's decent enough. Good selection of well-kept real ales. Friendly, chatty staff and plenty of power outlets to charge your phone or laptop, which is helpful when killing time between trains. Drinks prices not too bad for the location. I had a Full English breakfast for about £15 - the sausage was actually really nice, good quality vs your average breakfast cafe, black pudding was decent, poached egg good enough, but the bacon was a tad dry and considering the price of the breakfast, there could have been more than one rasher. However I did order right at the end of the breakfast service period so that could have had something to do with it.

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and polite staff from this pub within Paddington station (on the 2nd floor). We had a late brunch and the meal was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The coffee was also a good quality. Order arrived in a timely manner. Though if you are not in a rush for a train I would recommend to others this place; great value for the location.

Hands Down, the best Eggs Benedict anywhere--sorry New Orleans. We had just gotten off long flight and taken train to Paddington when we found this delightful breakfast. Perfect blend of flavors.

I’ve been to Paddington station plenty of times before but never knew that this place existed. It’s like a little oasis of a pub in a railway station. The menu was small but reasonably priced and the food was pretty decent. The prices were reasonable but the service was itself was excellent. Very speedy, helpful and friendly. I’d happily recommend this place if you find yourself in Paddington with time to spare before your train.

Very good pub above the concourse of Paddington Station. Five cask beers on handpump when I last visited. Lots of outdoor seating all of it covered. There is a train arrival and departure board in the bar. The pub got its name from the fact the land around Paddington Station used to belong to the Abbey of Westminster - but was sold to the railways rather cheaply by a somewhat ‘mad’ Bishop! With the addition of the most famous resident of Paddington.

The bar man was so friendly and chatty Went with my family. Got the fish and chips. Was so tasty. I didn't like the tartar sauce. But my sister loved it

Absolutely wonderful place in an easily accessible location. The food is (for london) quite cheap, especially if you factor in the quality and quantity. Portions are generous, but they’re so tasty you will still want more anyway :) . The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, even when they’re super busy. N.B. Unlike most places, the busiest days here are Wednesday and Thursday (according to the staff)
