Really nice food and very quick service, £7 for a large pasta to take away is good value. You can choose two pastas and I got the mushroom with truffle oil and the spicy chicken. Both were really tasty, though I did knock a star off because it’s a bit skimpy on the chicken.

Pizza was excellent, as were the desserts. Brilliant little place and would highly recommend for a quick bite or a break for something sweet with coffee. Team were very friendly and gave clear descriptions of what the dessert options were.

Generous portion (I went for regular). The pasta is quite tasty but it is microwaved. This isn't the same as having pasta that's been kept warm on a hot plate. I would definitely come here again but only if I can get another voucher for £3.5! p.s. the oil people are complaining about isn't so bad. You'll find the pasta a bit dry until you give it a good stir

In short: amazing pizza! I was walking around the area a while back and decided to get a slice of pizza to go. I didnt mind it much, but as soon as that pizza touched my tongue... OH MY GOD.... SO GOOD! The dough is just right, the amount of toppings is above the average (but not an exaggeration), and the taste was... well, wonderful! I needed to go back there and get more of it. I just loved it Seriously, with no exageration: I will remember this moment for a good while. I basically never write reviews, but writing this one felt just right For you that runs Pepe: please never change this, I beg you! You are the beacon of deliciousness, the savior of the taste, the lord of the pizza Yeah, its that good

Cozy place with good food at good prices. Do b warned, rather explicit rap was played loudly for the entirety of our visit. Perhaps not great for families or those with small kids.

Tasty pizza just around the corner from the theater. It's open until late and it's a good quality for the price. Staff was nice as well.

Pizzas are great, pasta is delicious. Brilliant lunchtime spot, and surprisingly good for taking friends and family to in the evening! Good deals for buying lots of slices, makes sharing food with the family work well. And the beers on offer match the food perfectly. Lovely staff as well.

Beautiful pasta and pizza! You can eat there or take away! Good and fast service from very polite staff. Not very expensive and actually it's a great value for money option! Highly recommend especially if you are looking for something tasty and good quality!

Good food on the go. Not much seating but great to drop by if you need a quick bite. Pizza is delicious and the pasta even better. Prices are on the lower end for this area as well.

Tried this place for small hunger & quick bite. Ambience is nothing great, very casual. Everything is Pre-Made from pizza to pasta to potato snacks.
We tried their four cheese pizza which was average. It was on the street we were living so thought of trying. Overall if you are looking for anything great, it’s not a place. Rest for a casual small grab on can try it out.
It’s good for kids though. If you are an Indian and traveling with kids who are vegetarian then this place might meet your kids expectations.

Visiting Trafalgar Square or the theatre district in London and need a quick bite to eat that also gives you change from a fiver? Head to Pepe’s for a slice of authentic Italian pizza. One of the reasons I loved my 21st birthday trip to Rome was the pizza. Square and rectangular pieces of deliciousness that was easy in my wallet too. Grabbing a slice to go at Pepe’s brought back those found memories. With roughly ten pizzas to choose from (I think they rotate their toppings, check out their full menu), you’re bound to find something you fancy. There are even vegetarian options! The best thing is they don’t scrimp on the cheese either. You can tell they use quality cheese. You know, the gooey kind that continues to stretch no matter how far you pull the pizza away from your mouth. The base of the pizza was lovely and soft like a sponge cake too. Great service to boot, the Italian gentleman who served me continued to address me as sir – I’m sure there are some classy restaurants that don’t do this. It’s the little touches which make it one of my favourite inexpensive eats in London. It’s a must for any budget travellers coming to London

Terrible experience.

Ordered via food delivery service but nothing wrong with delivery, was quite quick.

The food however was another story.

First the genius they have packing the food needs to go back to the drawing board.... When u pack hot pizza slices in a flat foil bag that's about to travel guess what happens? Yes... The cheese and toppings stick to the top and u get a nice dough base with tomato sauce to eat.

When u pack these hot bags on top of a mixed green salad that is already dressed guess what happens? U basically get hot lettuce soup.

Mushrooms on the pizza were disgusting and really slimy, and the margherita was basically burnt and therefore the only pizza that didn't stick to the foil.

The pasta was like it came straight outta the fridge... Freezing cold... Very unappetising and was binned along with the rest of the pathetic order.

I should have checked the Zomato rating before ordering.... They should be ashamed.

Pics coming...

I love this place... decent pizza, that looks freshly made and is actually reasonably priced (given the location). It is perfect for when you are rushing out of a pub finding a late tube home. I haven't had the pasta but I have friends who say it is very good.

One of the things I dearly miss from Australia, besides the constant fear of the entirety of nature attempting to murder you, is Spudbar. An affordable, healthy fast food chain. Could I have found that in London?

Ideal location if you have a spare half an hour before a show at the Noel Coward Theatre which is opposite, Pepe is pizza served hot and fast, and in squares, and their toppings are exciting yet traditional. One wasn't actually enough for me (or maybe I was feeling particularly hungry) but I ended up going back for seconds.
However, beware the long lunch queue.

This is definitely a case of horses for courses. In need of sustenance prior to an impending theatre performance one recent Saturday night and with no time to sit and wait for a 'proper' meal - and with the nearby Notes full to bursting - we stumbled across Pepe Food, the Italian 'street food' restaurant. The concept is simple - pizza, piadina and pasta on the go and quick as you like.

The piadina is made to order whilst the pizza and pasta are precooked and on show to all. One of my party went for the pasta penne which was instantly nuked in the microwave whilst the rest of us opted for the safe pizza option which upon ordering are given a molten blast of heat in the wood fired oven. I chose the quattro formaggi which, to be honest and I must admit my great surprise, was delicious. The bread was light yet crisp and the cheeses full of flavour. The accompanying house red was less enjoyable and distinctly vinegary in taste and came with some sort of strange sheen on the surface. I shan't be ordering a second glass! The pasta eater was also pleasantly surprised and happily ate the entire bowl.

As a fast food pit stop or post pub alcohol soaker, Pepe Food is a decent choice. Leave your gourmet hat at home and you won't be disappointed.
