I really recommend this place for chilling out at the bar and for the tempting menu offered! The staff was very kind and well organized. Loved it!
Lunch with 4 friends around 2pm on the 15th December. I had the soecial which was pigs cheeks black pudding and scallops with some trimmings , it should be a menu staple. Absolutely fantastic, had a bit of a wine connoisseur in our group and we had the most amazing experience overall. Young guy serving us was great and generally staff were nice so highly recommended.
One of the best place in Chelsea, always was treated nicely and had the most amazing cocktail here even I’m a fussy costumer, the atmosphere is great, the last time I’ve choose a non alcoholic cocktail was as good as I wanted, the manager was a bit grumpy but one of he’s bartender the Italian one make it up .
Thank you guys
The staff. I love the staff and the lady with the blond hair is fantastic!
Great place to meet drink and eat. Just over the road from John Lewis so a great place to relax having finished your shopping
The best food, the best service, the best atmosphere. Love it
Phenomenal service ! Great drinks and fantastic service ! I highly recommend this place To everyone who wants a good drink and atmosphere
This place does scrambled eggs and Salmon on toast just like my dad used to do them. And it don't get better than that. It's been 30years since I last enjoyed a breakfast like this one. Excellent place to eat and relax.
Just popped in pre-funeral for nibbles and a well needed drink. Although it was very busy the staff were friendly and efficient. Extensive wine and nibbles selection. Excellent location.
Excellent food and drink. Loved it. The Gin Carafes were excellent value. Staff were great.
Amazingly attentive staff, without invading your space.
Lovely food.
Nice ambience.

The best of the best... Excellent service, great food, awesome drinks.
My favourite place for lunch. Great food. Vibrant atmosphere with attentive welcoming staff.
Service - Outstanding!
Atmosphere - Comfortbale and elegant!
Location - Right in the centre of Chelsea, easily accessible
Lovely cocktails and very friendly, helpful staff.
Finding somewhere good to go for brunch in London is easy. There are SO many brilliant places, the list is endless - but finding somewhere good to go for Bottomless Bubbles close to where I live (out in the sticks)...now that's an entirely different situation. Don't get me wrong - I love heading into town - it's just sometimes you don't want to have to sit on a train for an hour after too much food and drink, you know? Well, my first-world problems have been answered...all thanks to the Botanist in Marlow.
Aside from the long queue and long waiting time (which we were actually still lucky as we managed to get a table on that very busy night) still all went well. Food was good, service was good. We'll definitely come back.
To use a quaint British term:this place is the dog's bollocks. Let's start with the toilets. Clean, with lovely fittings and stacked fluffy cloth towels for hand drying. We had lunch, good specials on offer, we had the plaice with summer citrus salad and skate wing with beurre Blanc, broccoli and anchovies with capers-this dish was full of umami flavours. The plaice was a feast for the eyes (see photo). Serviceable wine list, solid cheese board and good coffee. Worth the money to lunch with the Sloane Rangers.
The soft shell crab benedict wih jalapeno was an interesting twist to the classic eggs benedict. Staff were friendly, nice classic interior. Must order: avocado on toast.

After a day at London Fashion Weekend me and my friend decided to finish the day treating ourselves to a nice dinner and we know this place was supposed to be quite good. We were lucky enough to get a table although we were told we'd have to leave in an hour because there was another booking.
The menu is lovely and everything looks delicious but it is also quite pricey so we decided to take advantage of the set menu option that was valid till 6.30. That is a great deal because it cuts the price to less than half of what you'd normally pay and you get the same amount of food.
There was a small issue with the waiter being reluctant to bring us that menu, then claiming we were too late and it stops at 6.30 sharp even if it was still 6.20 and me having to actually show him the time on my phone. I kinda felt like he did not like me much after that but he was still extremely polite anyway and the rest of the staff were absolutely lovely.
The food itself was delicious. I had the schnitzel (soft and juicy) and my friend had the fish cake (surprisingly filling) and we also had the burrata and whitebait starters and some red wine.
The atmosphere was very nice as well, it felt grown up and sophisticated, just like a nice restaurant should be and they also treated us to a piece of chocolate at the end.
I would definitely recommend this place to celebrate a special occasion or to meet with relatives or as a treat after a day shopping designer clothes in the area. Just make sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.
The girls and I used to do brunch often, but lately we've all been busy and it's been a very long time since the last one. With 2016 already flying by (how is it mid-Feb already?!), we decided it was time for a morning of pancakes and eggs. Chelsea is the easiest place for us all to meet, so we thought we'd try the brunch at one of my favourite bars; The Botanist, on Sloane Square.
I usually have eggs these days, but I decided to treat myself and go back to my old ways, so I had the Buttermilk Pancakes with Bacon, Maple Syrup, and Blueberries (£12), and my good ole Greek yoghurt on the side (I just love pancakes/waffles/french toast with Greek Yoghurt)...
Have come here for drinks a few times.
Last time I was there I ordered a champagne cocktail and it was so awful- flat and just not tasty with whatever was in it.
I went back to the bar man and he was so kind and served us some normal champagnes free of charge.
I really appreciated how kind he was about it and that there was no huffing and puffing about it!
went here for dinner with my cousin & dad at around 7.30. couldn't hear myself think let alone anyone else. Food was very nice but I think I would prefer to come here when it's not as busy.
I usually come here with my friend for a latte on their outside tables, which I find much nicer.
I visited with a group of friends and had a great evening. Started with some drinks at the bar before being shown to the table. A busy night but was seated quickly enough. The food was good enough from what I remember and the service was pretty smooth.
A good evening was had in Feb '14.
With exciting new places opening up in London on an almost daily basis it can be easy to forget about old favourites, but when my friend Gemma suggested Sunday lunch at The Botanist in Sloane Square I was keen to revisit one of my much loved locals. When you walk past The Botanist, there’s always a lively buzz, people spilling outside on to the pavement; stylish Made in Chelsea girls, people in suits coming for after work drinks and couples heading to pretty Sloane Square for an evening drink.
Amazing cocktails.
Loved the Japanese Manhattan.
Awesome vibe, buzzing and right in the heart of Chelsea. Couldn't have asked for more.
Will be back soon.
This place looks lovely from the outside and the decor inside. Service is wonderful and the menu is nice and varied. Had the chili crab linguine, not as good as the ones I've had in Singapore, but it was delicious nonetheless. The portion sizes however, combined with the price let it down in my rating. Otherwise, a fine and sophisticated place to lunch with friends/dinner
Smart. Very smart restaurant. Good food, good wine list and good crowd. Not cheap but enjoy yourself !
Good for pancakes!. Came here for pancakes. they were absolutely delicious. they were slightly hard on the outside and soft on the inside - melt in your mouth amazing. they had a tasty blueberry filling on the inside. we ordered them with bacon, but the bacon wasn't as crispy as i would have liked. there also could have been more fresh blueberries.
this was complemented by hot chocolate which was reasonable.
i would definitely come back again for pancakes!
Great Restaurant, Fantastic Ambience!. When we're in London, we eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good inventive cuisine with hints of French cuisine, great decor, it's like being in a very airy, lighted apothecary with copper plate engravings of plants, hence the name The Botanist. Very ideal location, right off Sloane Square underground stop and one stop from the V&A.
Busy and buzzy brunch. This is a great place for brunch after a late night before. It can be a bit busy, but absolutely worth it. Food and service really are fantastic. They do an amazing Bloody Mary, if you're so inclined.
The term gastro-pub could almost have been created for the modern socio-conscious Sloaney. Think about it. A supposedly simple venue where diners can feel like they are 'slumming it' combined with restaurant quality food which has been slightly dressed do
Thanks to David at Jing Tea (we made contact on Twitter), I met him in The Botanist in Sloane Square (they stock their teas) for a tea tasting at their invitation. It was clear from the outset that David is very passionate about tea and I was quite excite
The choice of the menus here is very nice the fish was cooked perfectly the staff are very helpful and always on point to decoration is lovely and is always very busy
Had Brunch at the Botanist on Saturday. It was generally a good experience.
Right next door to my all time favourite club, Tonteria, The Botanist was recommended to me by my cousin who loves their Brunch. Coming from Dubai, a city famous for its Friday Brunches, I expected too much. It was simple but extremely elegant.
I ordered the eggs florentine which came perfectly, each component almost perfect. The Cafè Latte I ordered was also a very good quality. The Brunch menu though small covered everything one would expect in a continental Brunch. The setting was quaint and the large windows allows one to see the opulent Sloane Square. The staff were very nice but I believe the kitchen for Brunch closes very early which was a slight inconvenience.
Overall a great place for Brunch.
Great place! The ambiance is warm and classy, and the servers mimic this feel. The menu is very exciting, and all the food is great quality and presented beautifully! I loved the sweet corn fritters that I ordered, very tasty and well cooked.
Though I think this place is wonderful, it is slightly on the pricier side. Also I feel as though there are too many places I want to try in London, that this place didn't impress me enough to make me want to come back anytime soon. It was nice, and I can't really fault it, but it wasn't incredible enough for me to go out of my way to come back in the near future.
Had bunch here once with a friend and it was satisfactory. Definitely on the pricier side, yet nothing spectacular. Dishes were served in small quantity and were quite bland.
Located in a really great area in Sloan square however, would be a lovely place for a cup of coffee or for late night drinks. I don't think their food is on par or a great value for money.
Waiters were polite and the surroundings of this restaurant is lovely, very luxurious.
I have returned several times, but mostly for their coffee which is always made perfectly (great cappuccinos)
A Slice of Gastronomic Heaven
The Botanist is a unique place. A very exceptional restaurant with a unique menu and the most polite and friendly servers you will find in London. They are both attentive and helpful but never pushy.
This restaurant is in a lovely area around Chelsea. The atmosphere is relaxed but sophisticated. Our waiter made recommendations both on the food and on the wine, as the choices are plentiful but definitely different.
This is due to the creativity in the kitchen by paring different flavors and using a lot of vegetables, fruits with the meat dishes. We were not disappointed.
The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was art on a plate! I was never rushed and only made to feel as though I was the most valuable client in the place the night I visited even though it was busy.
Dishes are pricey but they definitely deserve a try.
Highly recommend this restaurant - you will not be disappointed.
Great place to start your day on the right path. Classy and elegant ambiance.
The menu offers a wide choice of dishes, very detailed and well presented. I chose to order their avocado on toast, mixed up with chilli, and smoked bacon. To drink, I went for some organic Green Tea, which was sweet and fresh. I would suggest you to certainly try their teas.
It is a lovely place where to go with friends and family. However, quite expensive but you pay for the quality of their service, and food. You should expect spending 30 £ for two people. Try it out…
...and enjoy their beautiful view on Sloane Square.
The Botanist is a firm favourite of mine when it comes to bars that offer something a little bit different! Their range of unique and tasty cocktails adds a bit of spice to the London bar scene.
Their location is fantastic, offering a beautiful view of Sloane Square - and is good for people watching. The bar is always well presented and in my experience, always has a good crowd!
Try the Sloane Ranger if you fancy a well-made lemongrass cocktail.
Really good cocktails, nice crowd. Gets busy on the weekend, but worth a visit
Went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday and we were a big group. We opted for the bottomless brunch with two courses. The drinks came quickly and the food was good. But the service, particularly Andrea, was ❤️🔥❤️ We all left happy and satisfied☺️
One of my favourite bars in London is conveniently located across the road from Sloane Square tube, serving some of the best cocktails. It boasts fabulous decor along a delicious menu. A must visit bar in the trendiest location
Last minute walk in at 6pm for drink and small bite for one. It was starting to get busy but I was quickly whisked in and given a cute table near window. But the icing on cake literally was the five star service by sweet Angelina! Normally servers could not be bothered to give recommendations but Angelina directed me with confidence and care. I ordered the warm goat cheese starter which I was not expecting to be so delicious and then she recommended the milk chocolate brownie dessert with such authority that I ordered regardless of dinner in the next half hour. Needless to say completely satisfied and great service is really priceless these days. Put it on the list!
Beef cheeks were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is great. The staff was very friendly.
We stopped for pre-theatre dinner and drinks last night.
Service and food were pretty much faultless.
Was a very pleasant surprise as disappointment tends to be my default these days.
Not cheap, but I feel we received value for money.
Well done, everyone!
Bar on one side reaturant on the the other. Very good cocktails. Variety of food on the menu
Something for everyone.Slone Square prices
Sloane Square has everything any shopping enthusiast could want. Cartier and Tiffany are neighbors, there’s a bespoke tailor across the way and restaurants are plentiful. I took the train to Sloane Square and happened upon the Botanist. Excellent random choice. I enjoyed the roasted chicken with a glass of wine. Delicious food with friendly service. I sat in the window and people and car watched. Londoners really love their cars and designer clothes. I highly recommend the Botanist for lunch.
Been to The Botanist after a while. The service was good but i didn’t like the new salt and pepper calamari. The one that was served before was way better and i normally order a few portions just for myself. I ordered only one this time. I would like to have the other calamari back. Overall it was nice as usual
I changed my order slightly from the menu and the staff were terrible accommodating throughout. A lovely experience, everyone was friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. My second visit. On that occasion I had the English breakfast on a Saturday (its served later)
Key point: Bottomless Brunch had no delay in refilling drinks. It was a true bottomless brunch.
We had a 30 person brunch party served by Mohammed and his team and was done incredibly well. Great environment, great drinks (especially in the bottomless selection) and great staff. Had a wonderful time and we are all appreciative of the work the staff did!
Cute brunch spot with good food and decent service - the bread with garlic butter, the salmon tartare and the salads were delicious (although I’d skip the chocolate cheesecake). Service was a little slow (despite the restaurant not being at capacity) but other than that, it was a lovely brunch!
Elena the waitress delivered such a good service. She was polite, engaging and helpful which made this experience one of a kind.
From the moment I walked in Bibi greeted me with a warm smile. nothing if was a bother. she is a great role model for hospitality. it’s my first time here but it definitely won’t be my last. Kindly thank Bibi for me for her great hospitality
Wonderful cocktails and excellent service! I was sitting at the bar when what could only be described as 180cm of skön walked up, sat next to me and chatted my ear off until my dinner reservation ⭐️⭐️. I suspect I’ll be a fan for life.
Iman is great! She was friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable. She recommended some great items from the menu. Really good cocktails here too!
