The food was delicious and arrived really quickly, I would truly recommend all the foods (especially the gimbap, kimchi fried rice and ramyeon) as they taste fresh and are hand-made. The atmosphere is great and the place is amazing to hangout with friends. The customer service was perfect: the employees were very polite and catered to all our needs

This place is amazing. We were on vacations and we wanted to try as much Korean food as we could because we Dont have that in our country. We found the best place. Is literally on of the best places i ever eated. We tried 2 types of bibimbap and some gyosas and everything was perfect.
They let us write our names on the wall. Next time i go to London i will definitely go here!

Authentic Korean food without any unnecessary thrills. The prices were really good and the portion sizes were great. It's really small inside so do expect a wait but very worth it. There kimchi pancake was the best I've had in London. The ghimbap is a must try and the vegetable bim bap set was a steal. I was hesitant to take my vegetarian boyfriend but he had a fantastic time too.

Quite cramped but i mean thats the real experience. A good amount of vegetarian selection offered. Good service. And amazing food šŸ™ŒšŸ½. Honestly one of my favourite places to eat because its quite cheap compared to other Korean places in London.

Went to Seoul Bakery around 7pm. Had to wait for about 5-10mins for a place to sit for two of us as it was peak hour. The wait was worth it, the food was absolutely amazing. Had Kimchi Tuna Bibimbap, which costs £5 on it's own but another £1.50 on top to make it a set that comes with Kimchi as a side and Miso Soup. Good value! Would definitely recommend this place!

Be ready to line up and share tables... Nice authentic Korean food in a small simple canteen style seating. Pocket friendly.
Bulgogi was nice but not enough meat in the dish
Kimchi pancake was really good - crispy outside soft inside just how it should be
Dumplings are simple and nice for snacking on

Maybe it's because I'm partial to Asian food, or maybe it's because this place is five minutes away from where I study, but I'm almost always here. Place is (really) small, but the food is nice and cheap. I usually order kimbap (rice roll) and toppoki (rice cake) because neither one fills me up on its own, but together they cost less than 10 pounds so I'm not complaining.Ā

I've never tried cheese toppoki before, but who knew a slice of cheese could make such a difference? It's my new favorite thing, and sometimes I dip my kimbap into the cheesy sauce. Sooooo good.Ā

This place is busy almost all the time, with people either waiting to be seated or getting takeaway, so you know it's good. The walls are decorated with writing, which I think is actually pretty creative.Ā

Seoul Bakery is closed every Monday, so if you're planning to take a trip to eat there, plan accordingly.

Korean food in London has always been associated with pricey menus – especially if one covets the juicy, delicious Korean BBQ joints.Ā With its previous location just behind Tottenham Court Road Station,Ā Seoul Bakery has popped back into existence to offer to offer really cheap food – tho the attached hair saloon seems to have been lost in the process.

I love Korean cuisines and this cute tiny restaurant offered great authentic food with a homely feel to it. The service was fast even though there was only one waiter. He was friendly and greeted us with a smile.

I had Beef Kimbap, which came in 10 pieces. There were a good balance of meat and vegetables there, with tangy pickled daikon radish to freshen up your tastebuds.Ā

The Toppokki tasted good as well as the rice cakes and fish cakes were bite-sized, the sauce was not too sweet and the spiciness was perfect for my taste with a boiled egg to balance the dish out.Ā

Together with Ramyeon and Kimchee for side dish, the bill was around £14, which was a great value comparing to how much we ate. I definitely will come back here to try other dishes!

If you’re looking for Korean food in London that’s as cheap as chips, look no further! Seoul Bakery is one of my favourite local haunts- it’s affordable, central, and super tasty. Unfortunately, it’s also incredibly popular, and more often than not you’ll see a long line of people (mostly Asian students) vying to have a mealĀ in this tiny shoebox of a restaurant, which only has 12 seats. The restaurant has a very strict first come, first serve policy- soĀ try to get there early. The walls of the restaurant are peppered with post-its and messages from visitors all around the world- including some written by famous K-Pop stars from the bands Shinee and Big Bang. The menu itself isn’t very extensive compared to Seoul Bakery’s other Korean counterparts on St Giles High Street, but their prices are definitely unbeatable. You can pay a little extra to upgrade your meal and add extra toppings to whatever you’re having (e.g. meat, fried egg, cheese, kimchi) , and some dishes offer the option to upgrade to a set meal. First up, some hot barley tea to warm ourselves up after a long wait in the cold. I’m not really sure how to describe the taste of barley tea- it has a roasted, nutty flavour that’s soothing and refreshing at the same time. Some people think it tastes like coffee, but I disagree. Give it a try; it supposedly has many health benefits! Next up,Ā  vegetable kimbap - for Ā£2.50 this was a super generous portion. The literal translation for kimbap is ā€˜seaweed rice’, the two main components of this dish. Other ingredients (in this case spinach, egg, carrot andĀ  danmujiĀ  (pickled radish)) are also added toĀ create a roll. This dish was simple yet satisfying, and I loved how the radish and carrots gave the dish some crunch and sweetness. Afterwards came theĀ  chicken bibimbap-Ā  a

Hidden within the busy streets near Tottenham court road – so well hidden in fact it took me a couple of times of passing it by to realize that what I was looking for was in plain sight – are these little Korean restaurants. Surrounded by hair dressers and various random shops, they have an oddly authentic charm. The space is cramped, but the prices are cheap. So just take a seat. The walls were completely plastered with post its – memorabilia from previous customers. I dont know if this type of thing is a very korean thing to do – because I remember other Korean restaurants that take your polaroid picture and put it up on the wall. Humorously enough, my eye caught a little note on the wall saying ā€œIsus te iubesteā€ – which means, in Romanian, Jesus loves you. One needs to take into consideration that this place is very cheap (and small), and, as such, I would not say that the korean food is 100% authentic. We went for the kimchi (perhaps the most well known dish from Korean cuisine, pi

It also had the shortest menu I’ve seen in a Korean restaurant – unlike the heavy tome that Arang gives you – which made choosing a lot easier. We started with a bulgogi beef bibimbap before it got mixed up together. Lighter than the dolsot version I prefer this for lunch – unless I want to be dozing in the afternoon from all the carbs!

..i tried the honey plum tea which was quite sweet but also very refreshing. the bottom of my mug held slices of green plum so fine that they had wilted in the hot water. seoul bakery is a place for a quick and tasty lunch. the tables are small, shared and cleared in lightening speed as soon as you finish. it’s popular with korean people which speaks to the goodness of the food.

Just by Centre Point near Tottenham Court Road tube station is a little row of Korean restaurants on St. Giles High Street. I'd not tried any of them but a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity when I met up with Sam of life outside the viewfinder in the centre of town; we'd decided on Seoul Bakery, a place I'd first heard about from Tommy at This is Naive . It's probably the smallest of the restaurants along the row, with only three tables, and quite possibly the one with the most character. The place was already packed with young Koreans by noon on that Easter Sunday and we had to share a table with two other groups of two - very cosy. The first thing to take my notice was that the walls were absolutely covered with graffiti. I have no idea whether they actually bake any of it on site but they do have baked goods for sale, along with stickers, stationery and socks. I fell for the place immediately and also for its basic menu full of simple Korean dishes: kimbap , bibimbap, tteokbokki,

I really wasn't sure what I was in for coming here because this was my very first time having Korean food but I've heard a few of my classmates mention this place so I thought I'd try it. I had the Beef Ghimbap which to me was like Korean sushi (though I must say I think I prefer sushi); so the idea of putting beef in sushi was strange at first but I didn't hate it. Overall, I had a nice experience.

Well me being me I love Korean food. This restaurant seemed pretty cool from glancing inside, so I asked my friend if she wanted to go. She had been before and told me it was her favourite Korean restaurant in the area. The place seemed very welcoming. Sticky notes on the walls. Mind you I spent quite a while reading them, and really wanted to add one so: please note if you want to add bring your own sticky note(s)! (A paper and pen and some tape will also do). Once I saw the prices I was relieved to see they weren't too expensive! Me and my friend ordered the 'Sea Food Pan Cake' as our side dish and I ordered the 'Kimchi Fried Rice' which I personally did like (I can be picky..)

The staff were friendly and I liked the atmosphere. Can't wait to go again and try more! ^-^

I was so thirsty after shopping, I wanted a light dinner and also an ice green tea latte so headed off to Seoul bakery. I remember when it was just a bakery the owner would greet me with all smiles his name is hoho son. He introduced me a pumpkin pastry. I was taken for a surprise that tasted good. His now my friend on FaceBook lol.

Anyways this visit I didn’t see him there, it was empty the people asked me if I was eaten in or take away. I told in seating in, and they told me take a seat. The menu is quite varied bi bim bap comes in metal bowels here, there was spicy rice cakes, Korean pancake, sushi and many others.

As I wanted something really light for dinner I choose Korean sushi and my ice green latte.

The green tea latte was a little bitter this time round but cooled me down from the summer heat. Usually the lady who works at the cafe makes the ice green tea sweet. The sushi was freshly made to order and I could tell the seaweed was stuck on properly. The sushi was great, unusual to Japanese style it had carrots, pickle, fish cake, vegetable. The sushi was flavoured and texture went well together.

The damage for the ice tea and sushi came to a total of £5.50 bargain or what.

Next time I shall try the bi bim baps!

There was a wait before seated but it was well worth it. Super good value for money, exceptional quality of all dishes. The bulgogi gimbap and seafood pancake are perfectly executed! Will definitely be returning for another visit.

We had to wait a while to get in. After nine minutes, my son was huffing and puffing. He's impatient, he was hungry. After half an hour, we got a seat. After the meal, I asked whether it was worth the wait, and he said šŸ’Æ yes. We both had the veggie bipimbap, and shared some gyoza, kimchi and citrus tea. It was all MAGNIFICENT. And incredibly cheap too. We both ate for less than Ā£10 a head, which for that quality IN LONDON is unheard of. Recommended to the moon and back, I'm gonna be dreaming of that homemade gochujang tonight 🤤

One of the best places for Korean food in London. It is very close to the British Museum. Its authentic menu is affordable. Taste is worth to try. Only down side of this place is a ā€˜queue’. To be seated you have to wait around 30min and for a take away at least 15 min. It is understandable though, it is a small place. I have been here a couple of times but I ordered a take away recently. It was as tasty as at the restaurant.

After receiving so much recommendations, I now see why it’s so amazing! Food is absolutely delicious, affordable prices, nicely decorated with art on walls and k-pop memorabilia! Gets really busy with long queues outside, but is completely worth it. Restaurant is a bit small; can fit up to 15 people.

Great little place for a quick bite to eat at affordable prices. I went for the kimbap and tteokbokki. The size of the kimbap was very reasonable however the tteokbooki was a little small, but both very delicious. Service was great and would recommend!

Small, authentic Korean eatery. Came on Saturday but the queue was very long I had to abandon but came again Wednesday lunch and no queue. Very small inside with roughly 15 seats on communal tables. I’m also impressed with how clean it is and how attentive the staff are. I ordered the vegetable bibimbap (simple, delicious) and the vegetable pancake (yummy). Very good prices. Will be back to try the other items!

Very local Korean restaurant at Oxford Circus, very busy and long queuing but you won't regret! Every dishes tasted absolutely like Korean flavor, spicy and strong. Also, very very reasonable price, very suit for students and sharing meal! Only the soup is a little bit salty, rest of the foods are all goooooooood! Totally recommend!

Great authentic Korean food for a carby, stewy lunch in London. Come early as there are long lines by midday. The rice cakes and noodles was my favorite though the broth is a bit sweet, which is typical. Kimbap was amazing, definitely worth trying.

If you are following my profile you probably know that I love Asian food, especially Korean food. I can honestly say that their food is very tasty, the sauce, and house made gochujang was very delicious. I loved their kimchi, if they sold it I would have bought it to take it home (Ps.I prefer soury kimchi). The order came out surprisingly fast, which is why I think the meat could have been a little more tender. To be honest my only complaint about the food is that there could have been a little more rice in Bulgogi Bibimbap. Considering the price the portion was very reasonable however there could have been more rice in the bowl. And I was expecting little bit more in the additional kimchi that I ordered. Paying £2 for that little white cuo when I buy 750g for £7.95 in shop, ngl, hurt. Miso soup was nice, I liked that they served it in a tea mug. The bulgogi set was also very tasty and had a great portion. I didn't like that we had to sit with strangers but considering the area it makes sense. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I was impressed with the student-friendly prices and delicious Korean pancake. However, the queue was quite long and the space was quite small, which made it a bit difficult to move around. Despite this, the food was definitely worth the wait and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Korean cuisine.

Dumpling topokki was so delicious. The sauce was sweet and spicyšŸ‘ŒšŸ¼. Kimchi pancake was crispy and so delicious. Beef with cheese ghimbap was nice, but I find it a bit dry…it would be better if a sauce is added to it. The employee was okay. Prices very are suitable. Make sure to go early, otherwise you’ll have to queue.

āļøāļøāļøāļø | Valuable Authentic Korean restaurant in Tottenham Court Road within. Central London Food 7.7/10, service 7/10. Valuable price and cozy space for you to enjoy the authentic Korean family style food. Easy to approach by Central, northern and Elizabeth line. Don’t be afraid of the long queue when you be there at the peak time. Lol. It also good for you when finishing a good journey after British museum. Highly recommended to try about the Bibimbap, Gluten rice cake dish and seafood pancakes! šŸ’· Ā£7-16 per šŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø 10mins+

Loved the place! I had their beef bulgogi and hot chicken noodle soup. I would recommend both the dishes. The beef was very tender and flavourful and the noodle soup tasted amazing as well. The place has some Korean/K-pop memorabilia which are reasonably priced (I got myself a blackpink photo print). On top of that the owners were very polite and nice to us contrary to what I read from some reviews. They do have a fairly long queue at peak times, so try to get there a bit early. The only complaint I had was the lack of seating. At a time, 15 people can dine which is not very low but they have more space for seating downstairs which they aren't using.

Very small place and I did not understand why there was a large queue outside, thankfully it moved quicker than I expected (after 25-30 mins) but after trying the food I understood why. The portions are very generous and amazing for the price, I went with a friend and we each had a main with some sides and a drink, it came to only £25 between us. The food was lovely and very homemade indeed. Will definitely return here. Service was also great and so was the atmosphere of this small place, truly a hidden gem near Tottenham Court road.
