Been wanting to go for 30 years, made that move last night 16th September 2017. The question you ask was it worth the wait, well the answer is why the hell did I wait so long, food & service incredible. Would I recommend yes without hesitation. Go & enjoy Italian food at it's best xx

Love the hustle and bustle of this place ... and can't get enough of the tomato garlic bread belissimo. Although under the railway no one cares about the train noise because they're too busy enjoying the good food and birthday drums . 😊👍🏼

The staff took time to acknowledge us waiting for long. I have given an advice average rating as their pizzas make me happy and make me visit again.
I would say this is my favourite place for Italian ! As you can see in my collections ! I particularly like the garlic pizza bread they serve . I crave for it for days . They have the best freshly baked pizzas and an excellent service ! The manager there is absolutely amazing and looks after everyone who comes in . Very welcoming ! Best place for having vegetarian pizza and particularly when it comes to pasta they have a lot of variety for veggies! The ambience I would say is also good . This special little spot has become a London favorite of ours.
The prices are surprisingly good and portions are massive. The quality of food is also really good. From pasta to salads, veal and chicken all food is tasty.
The places is always buzzing and is open until midnight.
Many starters are large enough to be enjoyed as mains. You never leave hungry.
Their Tiramisu is absolutely delicious.

Whilst an hours journey to get to a restaurant is never ideal the food served at L'Artista is certainly worth the travel.
Found under the railway, yes you can hear the trains rattle overhead, its not necessarily anything to look at, but head inside and you'll be treated to fine food.
The prices suggest that the quantity of food might be lacking, it certainly isn't. The starters alone could constitute a main course, which means by the time your main course comes you wonder how you will cope.
The gnocchi, whilst a little stodgy was wonderful, so much so that I had to insist on taking the leftovers home, a first for everything.
When you pass by l'artista there's a beautiful smell which attracts you to get inside and try their delicious food.
This place is always busy, even on a Tuesday evening. I think is because of their fresh food and the good value for money so people can enjoy a nice italian meal.
My partner likes the sirloin steak with tomatoes, capers, olives and tomato sauce or pizza quattro stagioni. Personally, I think the pizza is too soggy. But perhaps is because of the generous toppings they put on it.
I enjoyed the chicken breast topped with ham in a light tomato sauce which costed £10.
I didn't order dessert as the portions were generous and with a glass of wine everything was perfect so didn't want to ruin that sensation.
I recommend this place for the quick service, friendly staff and good food.

I was there with my kids in begging June 2013 on two occasions. We were seated at veranda like and got spaghetti and pizzas. Restaurant is quite spacious but was crowdie at the time, indicating its popularity among the people and suggesting there must be serving a good food. We were not disappointed. The service was kind and polite. On the end I paid a moderate bill, a cheaper comparing to many other places of similar food. I liked restaurant's good food, efficient and good service in simple and very warm ambient, which is quite unique with its overpass train location that occasionally rumbling and vibe the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to ones who loves simplicity, a good service and food and the warm ambient.
My first review has to be of the place that I go so often to ..L`artiste. Located in Golders Green, just as you walk outside the underground station - wonderful location, easy to locate and hard to miss. This place has a very warm feeling to it. One of the staff members will immediately attend to you and offer you a table of your choice. Choose a table overlooking the street on a slightly sunny day. You can choose a seat in the inner part of the restaurant for dinner when you want to have a warm relaxed treat.
L`artiste has a variety of Pizzas and pastas to choose from. I recommend the spinach & goat cheese ravioli with mushrooms. The cheese garlic bread is one of the best that I have had at any Italian restaurant. The quantity per dish is good and prices are reasonable.
A mention has to be made about the wonderful and prompt service. Great place !
GREAT FOOD, amazing olive oil, perfectly seasoned tomatoes and beautifully ripe avocado and melon! The starters were beautiful and the pizza dough is great.
The service was simple and quick. They forgot one of our mains for 10 mins and it arrived over cooked, so that was a shame. But loved it!
Being an international visitor, it's hard to find somewhere to eat that's good. Asking the locals, they recommended L'artista. They weren't wrong. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices.
Delightful Italian restaurant close to Golders Green Station. Outdoor seating and indoor seating available. Friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere, food is full of flavour and there are so many options for vegetarians which is great. Can get busy so recommend booking in advance. The Ravioli stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta is my favourite dish as well as the Tomato Pizza bread, definitely return.
There is no kid’s menu, but the staff were very friendly, the food was tasty, generous portions and reasonable price. I would like to come back again!

One of the best Italian restaurant in London! The experience you get once you step inside is absolutely ITALIAN! And from an Italian person, the type of service may seems rude but is absolutely completely Italian Style friendly and Passionate. Food is stunning and the portions are huge. I have been there last Sunday...simply amazing!!! The wine Frascati was a spot on, my starter with the add of grilled vegetables, wow and the pasta so good... portions are huge, service was perfect and the price, compared to the quality and the quantity isn't even enough in my opinion...will definitely be back ...Thank you very much
Excellent food, friendly staff and a lively atmosphere makes this a fantastic place to go to. Lots of great options for vegetarians here, which was a delight as I'm a vegetarian myself. The portion sizes are large as well, and I found myself unable to finish the meal I'd ordered! Definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for some Italian food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at L’artista Pizzeria a wonderful Italian restaurant located at 61 The Parade, High Street, Watford, GB WD17 1PL
I visited on Friday without any reservation, the place was busy but me and my friends were welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put us at ease.
The first thing that struck me about this restaurant was the attention to detail in the decor. The walls were adorned with beautiful pictures of celebrities, and the lighting was just right to create a cozy and intimate ambiance.
After waiting for 3-5 min we got a place to sit.. once we sat down were given the menue as one of our friend is a vegetarian we decided to order everything vegetarian
(cheeky move: I looked around at other tables they were receiving big serving so ordering couple of things from the menu and sharing was the best move ;)
Moving on to the food, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the ingredients used in each dish. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the bruschetta classic, which was topped with ripe, juicy tomatoes and a perfect blend of herbs and spices.
For my main course, I ordered the Penne Al'arrabiata, Pizza Funghi and Garlic bread which was one of the best I have ever had.
Pasta sauces in Penne Al'arrabiata was delicious flavoured with tomatoes, garlic and dried red chillies I believe.. would love to know from where do they source their tomatoes as they reminded me of my time in Italy.
The wine selection was also impressive, with a wide range of options to suit any palate, however we opted not to order wine as we were all driving.. to and back from the place..
Last but not least, the service at this Italian restaurant was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was enjoyable.
L’artista Pizzeria follows the Italian traditions of making the customer feel special and specially when they are celebration their birthday … they dimmed the lights and a staff led the way with complimentary cake and staff followed her by playing drums and tambourine it created a great vibe … definitely a place to be if you are planning to celebrate your birthday there ..
When asked if I could take some pictures the staff also posed for me .. it's a great bunch of people made us all laugh 😂
Overall, I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and I can't wait to return.

Delicious food, made in the proper Italian way. Good prices and the portions are just enough, if not more. I recommend booking a table as usually it's busy. It's interesting to have a birthday celebrated here, because of the way they bring the cake ('make some noise' is one way to put it) 😄.
A welcoming place with delicious food and friendly staff. Would recommend for getting together with family and friends. Generous portions and affordable prices. Me, my family and friends have went there for over 10 years for multiple celebrations and every moment was delightful!
10000% recommending!!! If you want exceptional authentic Italian food then this is the place to go!!! Unbelievable pasta & huge portions!!! We started off with the calamari & aubergine fritters, pizza garlic bread & tricolore salad. For mains we had the prawn & pesto seafood pasta & i had the puttanesca but added chicken & olives (you can add/remove ingredients with no hassle). Absolutely no complaints with the food! It does get very very busy so you may have to queue but once you are seated the service is quick!! Are bill came up to just over £50 & its totally worth it!
