I have eaten here since it opened and its very humble decor bely a first class cuisine with flavours that most of Mayfair's best would be thrilled to emulate. Try it, I don't think you will be disappointed.

On a lovely end-of-summer's bank holiday Monday, it was surprisingly difficult to find open restaurants to visit for lunch. Luckily a walk to the Barbican centre meant a route past Exmouth Market and both Morito and Shawarma Bar were open. I'm a big fan of souvlaki, shawarma, döner and all the like. My partner less so - but with a "gourmet" and middle eastern spin, it was easy to convince.

Very good good at reasonable prices. We went with the set menu which was under £20 per person. They have a great number of options and the lamb is halal. The dips for the starters were served with a fresh and warm bread which were all really good. For mains I got the lamb kofte which was cooked really well and also really well spiced. Would highly recommend for a nice lunch

It is a good place with really good food, tasty, delicious. The atmosphere is Eastern and it is really like a market place with street food. Amazing. While from the other side this place is a bit overpriced, or expensive. You can stay in a way you feel it is correct :)

This place is absolutely exceptional. The food is unbeatable and the service is top-notch. Love the roast chicken plate, the aubergine, the falafel/tahini, and especially the cauliflower (probably the best I’ve had). Was ordering from here almost weekly during the pandemic and the dine-in experience is excellent, with great service and a nice vibe. I was able to get a table without reservation on Wednesday night (20 min wait), but would encourage a reservation. 10/10!!

Food was absolutely outstanding, every item was amazing. The lamb was next level. Great buzzy atmosphere but the service was a bit lacking, had to ask for drinks twice and didn't bring a dish when asked for. Overall though would still go again!

Popped inside randomly on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch. I grew up on middle eastern food so my expectations were fairly high but this restaurant blew me away. The laffa bread was particularly delicious. Name of the restaurant is a bit decieving as there is a lot more on offer than shawarma- but the shawarma dish did not disappoint and neither did the Kofta. Already looking forward to going back, even bought a signed copy of their recipe book. 10/10

Finally a great Shawarma! The food here is perfect! High quality, good combination of ingredients, all fresh and delicious. The shawarma is divine and the humus is smooth and remind bit of Sabich. The pita bread here is at it should be. Perfect. The place is nice, good vibes and great service. Enjoy 😊

As someone who grew up on Middle Eastern good, this place did not disappoint! The menu is not huge, which allows a greater focus on quality - every dish was delicious, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The starters were all great - special shout-out to the Iraqi hummus! - pitas were nice and fluffy (as all pitas should be), and the mains were yummy and really generous in size so good for sharing. The fish kebab was actually daunting, it was so big, but we managed to polish it off. Didn’t try any of the desserts but will definitely come back for more.

Been here twice and we left with full belly and happy vibe for both times! Food is bang on with rich flavour and amazing texture ✨ Aubergine, cauliflower and pita are my favorites so far - I’m going to try more dishes. All the staffs are super friendly and helpful 🫶 They have magic that makes you wanna chat with them. Just got my reservation for the next visit! 🥰

Absolutely delicious! Don't be fooled by the name, ofc this place is more than your corner shawarma shop, it has tasty starters and some of the best grilled meats. The service is great too and I highly recommend this place. If you are not sure if you need a side dish or not I need to yell you that YOU NEED TO TRY THE POTATOES! the potatoes were insanely good!

The food is home made and the quantity of the dishes is enough to keep you more than full. I litterally tried all the menu and I do really recommend to go! Great prices as well. Also great environment and music! It seems to be really in an other reality Amazing experience You have to go!

If you love Middle-Eastern flavours, this is certainly a place to try out. I loved the fact that they don't have a massively extended menu as it's always makes it hard to select what you want to eat. Also, they do cater for vegetarians. The place has a lovely vibe. The staff are really friendly too.
