Excellent choice to end our touristic day with a good light lunch!
The crawfish salad was spot on! Also the chicken sandwich Lebanese and roster chicken sandwich was delicious as well!
Cleanliness was good with bathroom facilities...
I would gladly repeat the experience!
Pret is the to go place for lunch. For a cheap, really good lunch I recommend this place one hundred percent. It’s a quick, easy and really fast way to get lunch when you don’t necessarily have the time too. Or do. The food here is actually really good. And they have a massive range of products. Which range from sandwiches to sushi. I recommend the Hoisin Duck Salad Wrap! Super good!
As Prets most frequent customer, I have nothing but praise for this food-chain. Each employee is just so welcoming and friendly, with them frequently taking the time to ask you about your day. Whenever they make a mistake, they offer a drink on the house. The food changes often with a new and personal favorite in the Kale Macaroni. For starters, the tomato mozzarella croissant is delicious.
Whenever I am in a hurry, Pret is always my first choice so be it for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon snack. As a daily customer, I have no complaints whatsoever for Pret and only praise.
Pret A Manger is one of my go to cafes while at university. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, salads and wraps that are on display and open for you to choose. Behind the counter there's hot drinks and croissants too.
My regular is the chicken and bacon baguette. Filling and tasty, get's the job done! Also a big fan of the ham, bacon and cheese croissant for a snack. Comes warm and usually very fresh.
Great for quick trips in between work or university.
I've been to this cafe so many times to grab a quick lunch or a coffee during my lunch break. They make a decent cup of cappuccino. I've only tried one kind of wrap from here and it was good enough for me to come back for it every time I go there at lunch time. I tried the hot falafel with halloumi wrap and it tasted really good. Since it was hot it was the perfect meal to eat in London's weather and is also really filling.
I also love Pret because the staff that serve you are always so energetic and happy, it sure brightens up your day.
Can you beat a proscuitto on artisan as a quick lunch? I am not sure! The fresh sandwiches are of high quality and do the trick. It is no wonder that Pret is so ubiquitous nowadays, convenient and tasty; there are not too many of those places around!
I have great memories of this sandwich chain. Only reason being its proximity to my old university. To be fair, there is not so much to say about Pret a part from that it sells good and varied sandwiches to thousands of Londoners everyday. Let me tell you, a sandwicherie doesn't become one of the biggest names in lunchtime London without selling better food than the others. Yes, Pret is unrivalled by its competitors such as Eat, Greggs or even Marks and Spencers (although arguable). Why you will ask? Because of the quality of the ingredients it purchases. Unlike others, Pret isn't necessarily always looking to reduce costs. Yes it likes to save money but will always look to serve better than average quality.
A big negative to Pret is the price. many people say that selling a tuna baguette for 4 pounds is too much. I agree with this. However, think about it, everyone still goes to Pret because ultimately the price IS reflected in the quality of the product you buy.
Enjoy!
Ps: little touch I love about Pret can be found on the label of its fruit waters: "Best enjoyed when chilled, as indeed we all are". cool shit
Next To Little Waitrose
Infront of 110 High Holborn.
Small One and some sitting space outside .
There is a new girl at the counter (or at least I don't think I've seen her before). Blond, probably east European, I'm not sure. I guess she's new as I started seeing her from this Monday onwards. Well... where should I start? Compared to some other girls that were working there and with a constant annoyed face, she is just a breath of fresh air. She's polite, smiley and very welcoming.
This morning I saw her again. She approached me with a lovely smile and a 'how are you?' and I decided to tell her how nice it was to see her smiley face. Then I ordered my matcha latte and granola pot. She smiled back and, unexpectedly, she said the coffee was on the house.
I can only imagine how tiring it is to say the same things over and over, to make 3000 coffees a day or whatever crazy numbers the shop does, but that girl deserve my praise for making me start my morning with a smile and a sense of gratitude.
P.s: Hire more people like her... she's a must have in customer service.
Really convenient location for a coffee place and so glad they have the cold drinks back too.
My go-to chain for a delicious quick breakfast/lunch and a coffee too
Small place but a wide range of food, very good team, fast and smiling, filter coffe is just 99p. and good and sometime they give me for free. The place is clean and during the summer the outdoor space is nice to have lunch. The shop stay open till quite late which is very good.
Pret A Manger became home over the years! Super friendly staff and always an alternative choice for food when your walking around the city for work or visiting and you get that sudden need of food or coffee!! Great value with healthy alternatives to sandwiches as well! Keep it up Pret! I’m glad there’re many of it in London:)
My coffee pit stop shop before my 9-6. Fast and smooth service
Like almost every Pret the service here is phenomenal. It really makes a difference having happy and friendly staff every time you go. As a vegetarian I also love the variety and effort they go to with veggie options. Thanks all!
Really great service and so friendly in this Pret on Saturday afternoon. My daughter really loved her warm welcome and babycino. Thanks so much!
Love Pret.. Nice organic coffee and freshly prepared food that taste way better than what you normally find in similar chains of coffee shops.
Also friendly staff which for me is a bonus.
There are three absolutely tremendous Baristas at this Pret. Namely: Stan, Jan and Shiela. They don't just meet you with a smile but also greet you in the nicest manner possible.
