We dined there on a Monday night, so there weren't many people there. The food was delicious and priced similarly to what we pay in Houston. The wine selection was nice and the service was quite good. All in all a very nice evening to end our time in London.

La Tagliata has a very nice and cosy interior. As a starter we had some focaccia and thin and crispy Sardinian Guttiau bread 🍞 Both were so nice and salty that I had to stop myself not to get full before mains. As a main dish I had beef fillet steak 🥩 with rosemary potatoes. As you can see the steak was perfectly medium rare. My boyfriend had some pasta with sausage and tomatos 🍝(orecchiete salsiccia e pomodoro). As a dessert I had for the first time Affogato which is basically icecream with coffee 🍦☕️ Oh my, that was delicious! With all that we received a bottle of white Trebbiano wine which I loved because it wasn’t sour at all. Overall, we had an amazing time and I would definitely come back any time.

Lovely food, high quality restaurant. If you want a high end restaurant this won't disappoint. The only downside is if you are looking for value for money the bill easily comes to £100 for two people with food and two drinks each.

Really enjoyed our visit here tonight, a little more pricey but we actually felt it was justified as our food was extremely tasty, good quality and wasn't just bog standard dishes that you get at any Italian. Maybe on a busy night the tables could be spaced a little further apart at the back but wasn't a problem today as it wasn't totally full up. Service was great and I'm basically vegan (+egg allergy) so they adapted dishes no problem for me. Easy to park in the evenings too! Great find!

La Tagliata is a stunning Italian restaurant in Fitzrovia. Inside, the décor is gorgeous, finished to a high standard with low lighting and comfortable booth seating. The atmosphere is relaxed with friendly staff letting you take your time over the delicious food. There is an impressive wine list which has been carefully chosen to match the menu on offer. It was such an impressive menu making it hard to choose what we wanted! We started with La Mozzarella di Bufala: Buffalo mozzarella served with mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes and Sicilian Caponata (£10) and I Gamberi alla Fra’Diavola: King prawns in a spicy tomato sauce (£10.50). Both our starters were incredible. The mozzarella was amazing quality and tasted so fresh and delicious. The caponata was full of flavour making for a perfect addition. We loved the big juicy prawns which were cooked so well, the sauce was really tasty and the crispy thin focaccia was a great extra touch. For our mains we had the current special La Carbonara con Tartufo Nero: long pasta with egg yolk, pecorino cheese, smoked guanciale and black pepper, topped with black summer truffle (£23) and La Fregola Ai Frutti Di Mare: Sardinian pasta with courgettes, prawns, queen scallops and mussles (£18.50). Both of these dishes blew us away. The truffle pasta was rich, creamy and so moreish. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The Sardinian pasta was equally delicious and was almost like a risotto. The sauce was full of flavour and the seafood portion was very generous. For our desserts we opted for the classic Tiramisu (£7) and La Torta al Cioccooato e Mamdorle: warm homemade almond chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream and almond crumb (£8). Both desserts finished off the meal perfectly. The tiramisu was fresh and creamy with the coffee flavour coming through but not being too overpowering. The cake was chocolately and rich and we loved the ice cream and coulis combination. We loved our evening at La Tagliata Italian Restaurant in Fitzrovia and felt well looked after by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The authentic Italian food was impeccable and we loved the relaxed vibe of the restaurant. It is a little on the pricier end of the spectrum but you certainly pay for the quality ingredients here.

The food at La Tagliata was fantastic, honestly some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. The crab pasta was amazing – one thing that really stood out was how generous they were with the crab meat which was really nice. At the end of the pasta, you were left with a pool of crab meat and oil which was perfectly mopped up with some of the fantastic bread. The portions are beautifully presented but leave you feeling full as well. It was a wonderful dinner, I can definitely recommend.

Nice and delicious. A little bit pretentious but when quiet it has a relaxing atmosphere and it is enough to have the "tagliere" (shareda antipasto) and a glass of wine. Wine very expensive but damn good ones!

Found this place quite by accident whilst staying in Fitzrovia. Whilst on the expensive side, the food was outstanding. The bread was actually a big basket of many different kinds and very filling. Good choice of wines with a very satisfactory Riocha. However the highlight for me was the Lamb Pailliard, cooked to perfection and literally melt in the mouth. One of the best lamb dishes I have ever tasted, and I eat a lot of Lamb! No hesitation in recommending this place, you will not be disappointed. Finally the service was also second to none.
