We bought an ice-cream cake for my nephew’s birthday but I don’t feel it’s worth the money. More of a biscuit base rather than a cake, and quite small for £50.
Oddono’s on The Chiswick High Road offers one of the best ice creams in town. They are a chain and based around London. The ice creams are always delicious and a great treat. Definitely try the pistachio or hazelnut flavours. You get mouthfuls of real nuts in the ice cream.
Always the best ice cream here! Lived in the area for a year, have since moved further away but will always pay a visit when back. IMO better than the other place round the corner, but I know it splits opinions!

The pistachio ice cream is brilliant, but the others are almost as good! It's award-winning for a reason but on hot sunny days there is invariably a a queue out onto the pavement! The staff are friendly and cope well with locals and tourists alike!
Great gelato because of the taste and the flavours. The Bacio flavour is absolutely amazing along with the rest. The staff in there are always super friendly and serve customers very quickly when lines are long. Would highly recommend for anyone searching for authentic gelato

I order a cone with Pistachio and Cookies & Cream (Oreo). The pistachio gelato is world-class, being soft but genuine gelato. The cookies & cream has pieces of Oreo and is just delightful.

The best gelato I’ve ever had. I absolutely love their fresh and natural vanilla icecream, but recently they’ve pulled it off their menu as there’s a world wide Vanilla bean shortage. And I totally respect that, they refuse to use essence or processed vanilla flavourings.
