Fantastic visit for our daughters 3rd birthday. Ice cream sundaes all round, all very tasty. Great service and they added a candle and Happy Birthday chocolate to her dessert, much appreciated. Beautiful setting, what a treat.

"The lady that showed us to the table was lovely .The gentleman that served us was excellent ,we we couldn’t ask for anything else. It was superb service. The food was divine. I hope your staff are well paid, because they deserve every penny. I’m so sorry, I forgot both their names, but I would like to say thank you very much ,you made our day very special. Best wishes , Monica, margarita , candelaria & Theresa"

Didn't think cheese on toast and a scotch egg could taste so good. Scones were lovely too. Service was good and staff were very polite and friendly. Definitely will be back

We had reservations for The Experience high tea at Diamond Jubilee at 330 pm, but had just had lunch at Bancone Covent Garden at 130 pm. So we decided to cancel that but to have a lighter meal at the Parlour.
There was a queue, but we managed to snag a table after 15 minutes. A shutout to the elderly female staff who wore a face mask. She was lovely and friendly when taking our order and serving the dishes.
Anyway, we had the avocado sourdough with chilli, with duo of scones and a pot of Queen Anne tea. We also had a rose and pistachio cake, which was delish if a little sweet. The disappointment was the iced peach tea - for the price of 4.96 GBP, it was a miserable portion.
The food was nice, otherwise.

When I visit London, a trip to a quintessential British icon is always on the cards. ‘The Parlour’ at Fortnum’s is always a great experience, even if the prices may be a little on the high side. The ‘Parlour Tea’ (Set menu) offers a good selection of items from the main menu, with my choice on this occasion, the Elegant Rarebit and a duo of scones (plus an iced coffee). The food hit the proverbial spot, tasty, fresh and very well presented. I would always recommend a visit here and while your at it, take a look around the lower floors for lots of other food inspiration.

My first experience at The Parlour and I’ll be sure to go back. I had the vegan Red Velvet cake and it was beyond incredible. Never had such a delicious red velvet - let alone vegan! Three tiers of sheer joy. Really loved the extra fruit in between the slice and the buttercream was amazing. Washed down with a glass of bubbly. What a treat!! Compliments to the chef
