Typical Galician Restaurant with the most amazing Tapas eaten in UK so far. Atmosphere perfect and service friendly. Would reccomend and will definitely visit again.

A group of friends and I went here to celebrate one of our colleagues returning to his home town in Galicia. The food was incredible! I ordered 4 lots of tapas which was a lot of food but with a big group of people this did not matter as we all shared. The whitebait was my favourite dish and would definitely consider returning again if I were to find myself in the area.
This is literally a trip to Galicia.
Staff is very friendly, recipes are traditional and they really get to cook as my granny (She is from Galicia); quality is great too and the prices are cheap for what you are eating.
Do not go without ordering Octopus. ;)
I was born in Spain and living there for 28 years before moving to London. This is the best spanish restaurant in London. Excellent food, When I left the restaurant I couldn't believe I was in London, as I felt as if I were in Spain. Excellent and friendly service as well. We had a fullfilling dinner for two for £40. This is an A++, I'll be back quite soon.
I really like this place. Fantastic tapas and the service is just excellent. The staff is very friendly and make you feel just like at a family dinner. Have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Just perfect for a dinner with friends.
Tonight a group of us who frequent this place will be eating there for the last time before the amazing Spanish/Galician crew leaves on the 15th of April.
We have never been disappointed, the food is homely and the services is very family-like. Every time we went there, we would order the unlimited tapas set meal and we have had to tell them to stop bringing food at some point as the portions are always massive. We always leave with an over-filled-satisfied-belly. :)

Even though this restaurant is right on Portobello Market, when you enter, it feels like you're in Spain. Spanish people everywhere. Very buzzy and popular so book in advance. Good tapas. Have recommended this to friends and they adore it too.
This place is... A piece of Galicia in London. I've never felt so close my born place. The food is Galician. The waitresses are Galician and the clients are Galician as well!! I tried here a cocido gallego and was very good. The price was 25£ each one. Is good for groups and people that like eat a lot of good food of course. I'm bias talking about this place but... How avoid that?
A real gem of a restaurant in London!
I've only been once so far but this has the potential to become one of my favourite restaurants in the city.
A family-owned, friendly wonderful place. Having been to Spain, I have to say the food is as close to authentic as it gets. Service is impeccable: waiters are all friendly and you are served quickly.
Price is great for what you get!
Tapas reccommendations: patatas bravas, pulpo, calamares, prawns and chorizo. But really, everything is excellent. You cannot go wrong.
One of the best places to eat in London!!!!, the food is amazing, almost like my mum's! real spanish/galician food as real as you can get!!!, so, If you are having a good day visiting beautiful trendy Portobello market, why not finish your day having a beautiful dinner at Galicia? fresh food cooked with lots of amor!!!! :)
Fantastic restaurant serving what I consider to be non-anglicised tapas. Gallegos are world renouned for their super good tapas and this place never dissapointed. Lively crowd and good service. Shame it's closing, hopefully something just as good will pop up in the area.
