The Sir John Oldcastle - London - Photo album

I didn't eat on this visit, but I enjoyed a very good real ale (see photos). Swift service and a vibrant atmosphere with the pub busy inside and out. It's definitely worth visiting this part of London.
The Sir John Oldcastle is one of my oldest and favourite pubs in London. This place is very popular for a trendy crowd. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The pub also has an outside sitting area. It's good for going with friends and family at the weekend
Traveled from Canada. For the prices, convince of ordering on your phone from table, overall best spot for beers in London. Went to other pubs nothing compares. Cider and beer is great, food is decent. Highly recommend. Was in London for weekend and came here everyday. If you want good cheap drinks
Great place for food and drink. Lovely place with plenty of atmosphere. Came in for evening meal which didn’t disappoint. Ordered scampi and chips and a fish and chips both came with a choice of peas and a drink. Lovely hot meal. Service great and food was good too. Meal for two with drinks £25. Fa
My favourite pub/restaurant chain by far. You always know what to expect as standard menu across all branches. Great food, Great value, what's not to like about the Wetherspoons offering.
Timed my visit right. Was a quite visit. A nice light airy pub which was clean and fresh, great flowers bed out doors which were well maintained, you can tell when you get near to a Spoons pub by the great botanical display
Very good sized bar right in the centre of Faringdon London. With lots of tables and chairs there are often spaces to sit eat and drink. Wetherspoons do good value food and drink and you can order at the bar or by their app, which is handy as you can sit down and get table service. Decent menu with
For a busy Friday evening the drink service was fantastic! The atmosphere was typical London pub but it was chilled with no trouble. Didn’t eat so couldn’t review that.
Busy busy but nice atmosphere & quick service. Very reasonable prices considering key London location. Didn't eat but saw dishes being served very quickly
It is the best weatherspoons I ever been to, just because of the best taste of the food. Also the effort of the stuffs to get you a good quality food of your taste. All the time I found the right temperature food with right sides. The portions also been in appropriate manner. during my last visit I
Without doubt, the cleanest, tidiest Weatherspoons I have been in. The service was prompt and friendly and the breakfast was hot and fresh (hot isn't typical for a Weatherspoons) I will definitely be going back here!
Food was fresh and hot sauce was nice. Lovely staff. Lovely atmosphere will go again.
Just left having stopped by for a bit of rest-bite before my return journey to Sywell. Anna was perfectly polite and professional with a great smile, drinks were as expected and toilets were clean. Thank you - recommended.
It’s a Wetherspoons, but an exceptional one when it comes to the food. It was fully packed when I went with my husband, but we were lucky to get a table just when we were about to look for another place. The veggie curry with spinach and cauliflower was such a delight. It went well with the garlic
Typical Wetherspoons with lots of tables and seating. Mobile app ordering worked just fine. This pub is very close to Farringdon Station.
Place that makes really good impression of Original English Pub, great place to sit with friends and enjoy drinks
