The Grove Tavern in leafy Hammersmith, this part at least is a fine street corner pub with high ceilings and an airy light feel. A selection of beers on offer, both cask and keg. Plenty of room inside and out. The service is both efficient and friendly. A great place for a beer on a fine warm summer's day. The doggy treats on the bar signals a welcome to our canine companions too!

First time trying the place and it was pretty good, we were in a rush for a quick meal and went there.
Love the garden outside (outdoor seating ) was very cozy and beautiful .
We ordered the lamb shank and the burger both was pretty good very tasty.
The service was good and good hygiene.
A bit on the pricier side but a good experience.

The Grove was absolutely gorgeous and the food was great. The interior is super cozy and spacious, and the food was great (despite large portions) the red pepper and quinoa burger was delicious and the service was great. Definitely stop by if you get the chance!

We went here for our garding party and had a really good time. The upstairs function room was a nice space with a bar and seating area. The drinks were a nice price, but there could have been a little more variety on the food menu, but other than that, it was a lovely place 😊

Thursday night before Easter, so not busy, but we were far from alone! Lovely, prompt service from ALL staff. Food was excellent and served promptly, to be washed down with a couple of glasses of Malbec. Shown...Fish & Chips 🐟 and Tuna Salad 🥗

The staff is so sweet here. Their nachos and halloumi fries were soooo good. Great vibes will definitely be back. They also have a huge upstairs if you wanted to have a big birthday here.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was tasteful and elegant, creating a cozy and intimate dining experience.
Every dish that I tried was simply delicious - each one bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. The ingredients were clearly fresh and of the highest quality, and every dish was beautifully presented.
But what really made my experience truly memorable was the attention of the service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making sure that every need was taken care of. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their enthusiasm and passion for the food and the restaurant was infectious.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the dishes and the attention of the service are truly top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and try more of the delicious food on offer.

Gorgeous local restaurant as intimate, homely and delicious as it ever has been! Absolutely scrumptious meal of chorizo sausages, followed by roasts and banoffee pie to die for. Heartily recommended! X

A really "Full" English Breakfast, the food is grilled. REALLY GOOD, HIGHTLY RECOMMENDED! With good value. Another day, I have a lunch set there, two course, very good quality dishes. Surprised good food in a pub.

Popped in to the upstairs room for a private function. The bar staff were so welcoming and friendly. A great asset to the pub.

A small restaurant that serves different European dishes. The portion is generous and the taste is good. The lighting is a little bit dim which is good for some night chat with friends.

Went here for dinner and comedy night. Pizza is good, but overpriced. Check you bill carefully! They tried to charge me 12.95 for the Margharita that was listed at £9.75 on the menu. They also charge a hefty 12.5% service charge.
It's not terrible, but there are better options in the area.

A quiet Tuesday lunchtime. We had some time to kill before going to the Hammersmith Apollo so we had a slow lunch at the Grove. The food was good and catered for our teenage boys tastes as well as the parents. Well cooked and presented, we were very happy with our visit.

I practically live there. Great food, atmosphere and service. One of the best bars in West London!

Great Sunday morning breakfast at the Grove in Hammersmith.

Nice tapas, super chilled bar area and friendly staff. The food and wine were very tasty and not overpriced.
However, disassociate your bar & restaurant with the (air “brackets) - Comedy” (closed air brackets) club.
This Tuesday 29th May was an awful compère who should be the one who holds it together, no real intro as to the experience of the comedians due, especially not his, feedback - stop the silly laugh and the singing - not sure which was worse?!.
The two guys we stayed for, Caspian and the next British Asian guy need support & feedback for their potential careers, Comedy may not be where it’s at.
Sadly, we did leave- with an apology, before the nasally American sounding female who we had already heard enough of outside (yes, your voice DOES carry), came on as neither of us could stand to stay and listen.
Sorry - maybe we got a bad night. Wasn’t quite what we expected but hey, everything is an experience and we went on to experience some sublime and much needed red wine in The Brackenbury Wine Rooms .

A pub so easily accessible and yet so quiet and peaceful. One of those places when you want peace and quiet along with good food. The food has a Mediterranean influence and serves lovely dishes. We had the set menu and since one of the dishes was not available we were offered a choice from the ala karte. We had a pint of prava (loved this Czech lager), baked brie wrapped in parma ham and mozzarella cheese salad with tomatoes which was lovely. For the mains we went for the Thai style fishcake and chicken breast with mash and salad. Total comfort food and very tasty. The fishcake was slightly dry, but all in all I enjoyed it with the salad and lemon dressing. Good service, lovely ambience especially outdoor seating in summers for a proper quality time to spend with your company.

Full points for ambience, not so much for my drink though ;( <br/>Since it's located in a quieter street, it doesn't get too crowded and you can have a decent conversation without screaming :) <br/>The pimms I ordered was way too watery, and that did put me off a bit. The beer was amazingly fresh though.

A sublime experience from the moment we arrived at the door to the moment we left. <br/><br/>The staff was warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoughtful recommendations on dishes and wine.<br/><br/>Every mouthful was an experience, with layers of flavour and complexity.<br/><br/>Definitley will be back.

Bday dinner delight!. I was very pleased with selecting this restaurant for my boyfriend's bday dinner party with 10 friends. Their advertised dinner special of 2 courses for £15 and 3 courses for £18 is was the deciding factor in selecting this restaurant above others. The free bottle of wine because we were celebrating a bday was a bonus.<br/><br/>The pros - casual relaxed atmosphere, food was amazing - everyone polished off their meals and the plates were left food free, no issues with the meals as they were all delivered at once and within good timing and the waitresses knew exactly who was having what, the shots of limoncello during dessert was also a nice gesture, the waitresses were friendly enough and the service was prompt. Also, they werent even asked - but when they brought out the bday boy's dessert, they had a lit candle in it - I highly recommend this place for bday dinners!! You are well looked after.<br/><br/>Cons - Obviously with a set menu, you expect only a few choices (there were 2-3 per course), however they ran out of the fish main which left only the vegetarian option and one other meat option. With dessert there were only 2 options and they ran out of the most popular one (the rasberry panacotta). This was a bit annoying as they didn't offer a substitute to replace it. The thing is, it was midweek and not incredibly busy, so it was a tad bit annoying that they didn't make enough, especially knowing that a table of 10 were going to be in that night. <br/><br/>That would not stop me from dining here again! Food was delish and great value for money!

Though with fab ambience and service, the very core element of a restaurant called food was disappointing. The vegetables served with tuna loin tasted of nothing like being procured from some charity allotment doing off season greenhouse farming. The utter disappointment was definitely reduced by open-eared staff and manager who offered the dessert on the house. Might give the place a second chance but they definitely need to look into quality of their supplies.
