Fine dining for coffee shop prices! I've eaten in 3 Michelin star restaurants, but the food I've enjoyed here on multiple occasions is up there with the best I've ever had. The standard is so high I almost feel guilty paying £15 for a 3 course set lunch (no I'm not joking, it's actually £15 for 3 courses, or £12 for 2). The food is exquisitely prepared European Caribbean fare; lots of fresh flavours and vibrant presentation. The bright orange and yellow sauces compliment every dish perfectly. I honestly can't fault any of the dishes I've tried there. I managed to remind myself to take photos this time before I inhaled everything, so have a look. The wings were so tender; the batter was light and crispy. The salmon was perfectly fried, and the prawn fritters were immaculate. We also tried the sea-bass special; again, faultless. The creole chicken is great too. The brownie was hardly needed, as I was pretty full after 2 courses, but thoroughly enjoyed nonetheless. The menu is small and focused, and because of that I'm convinced everything I haven't yet tried will be just as perfect. If you're considering trying this place, go for it. It'll be one of the best decisions you ever make.

Delicous food, kind service. Amazing experience. (Tuna gazpacho was excellent!) Please note that you have to wait a bit longer than most of the people get used to it in this busy town but worth it! Thank you! (I have added a few more pictures from another occasion. ;) )

A lovely new restaurant in Hornsey. The menu is diverse and different. The staff were so lovely. The only reason why I have given it 4 and not 5 is that we had to wait quite a while for the food. But apart from that I would definitely recommend this place.

Positives: Nice food, interesting menu, good ingredients and great prices for the set menu. To improve: unfortunately, they're way too slow.... 45minutes for the starters (and the place was not full) ! I love the idea that they do everything from scratch but they should improve the logistic/organisation of food the preparation.

What a fabulous new local gem! Amazing value lunch - 3 courses for £15. Wonderful flavours, textures and influences. Presentation is excellent but the the overall atmosphere is informal and snug. Child friendly too - Our 16 month old loved the fried plantain and coconut ice cream to finish!

Had a really lovely meal here. All the dishes were excellent, but especially loved the mutton curry. Great wine selection. And very good value. Super friendly as well. Will be back!

I adore this restaurant and love the food created by the very talented chef. Every dish on the menu is created with such flair and tastes so delicious…. I have never been disappointed! Worth noting that service can at times be a bit slow but the food is worth the wait. We tend to go for the whole evening as there is nothing better than relaxing in the garden eating great food and chatting with friends and family. If you haven’t tried this restaurant you’re missing a real gem of North London.

A great place to eat locally. The food was excellently prepared, well presented and tasted delicious. The flavours of all the dishes worked well and the quantities were generous so that we sadly had no room for desserts. The owner/chef and staff were friendly and helpful. A big thank you for honouring our booking on a Monday post "eat out to help out" when the restaurant would normally have been closed.
