Quaint little old Italian restaurant bang opposite the Waterloo station. Dropped in on a Friday for lunch. Authentic Italian food with reasonable prices and good proportions. Nothing very fancy about the ambience and interior but good food is what you are looking for then this is the place for you. Ordered a chicken in tomato sauce dish and clams spaghetti. For starters we got the prawns in garlic cream sauce. May not go again myself but will definitely recommend the restaurant to others. Vaibhav Kabra

A Good Local Italian!. An unpretentious local Italian. No table cloths and paper napkins - but a warm welcome, clean tables and good food, pleasant wines, good value for money with lots of Italians eating in the restaurant.

Being local to Waterloo there is inevitably a lot of passing travellers using the restaurant. Much better than many other restaurants in the area!

We had dinner here tonight and it was very good. The mussels marinara were delicious. The risotto was quite good as well. It was busy the entire time we were there and the waitstaff was very nice. My husband enjoyed the scampi and the veal saltimbocca.

This is a wonderful little hole in the wall. The food was wonderful. I had the monkfish with clams and my friend had the spaghetti Vongole. Our kids split a spaghetti bolognese (as they do). All dishes were top notch and full of flavour without being over seasoned. The side spinach and rocket salad were equally delicious. We felt bad as the restaurant was quite empty despite the good food at a reasonable price. Vandals had spray painted the outside awning, which makes it slightly less attractive. Don’t let the exterior fool you - they can cook !

We are always looking for that classic Italian restaurant experience, and this place was super convenient before we headed to the IMAX theatre across the street. We were seated upstairs and the atmosphere was fine. Some of the service was initially abrupt, but it improved as the evening went along. My gnocchi dish was excellent and my wife's veal in mushroom sauce was good but was just missing that great umami flavor that mushrooms can bring. If we are in that area again and are hungry for Italian, we would not hesitate to go back and try some other options.

Food was fantastic, waiters were just lovely- reminded me of my Mediterranean family and the diaspora in Montreal, New York, etc. if you know you know! Food was quite affordable especially for the quantity and quality. The cocktails are priced to a London standard (price is not listed in the menu, we ordered too many and were a bit surprised on the bill, but that’s on us!).

Lovely little restaurant. Feels like a family run business, very nice atmosphere and great food. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Prices were good too. Only £90 for 4 people with a bottle of wine, great deal!

A lovely authentic Italian restaurant! We visited for the first time whilst staying near Waterloo. The restaurant looks quite small from outside but there is more seating upstairs. We arrived without a reservation and offered a table for 2 immediately. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered the veal in mushroom sauce, my partner chose the chicken milanese. The food was delicious, piping hot and the portions very generous. The price was quite reasonable for a London restaurant and I would definitely eat here again.

Italian, need I say more. Food was excellent, I had a mixed fish dish, my wife chicken which was described as "chicken nuggets" when placed on the table. Wonderful meals. Great selection of desserts too.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Traditional Italian with the og’s running the show, they know what they are doing and have an authentic way about their moves. I’ve got to say the pizza was in my top 5 of best pizzas ever eaten. Go here people, good prices, traditional Italian, no messing!! Btw the birra moretti is so on song here too!! Much better than that pricey pub down the road!!
