The Minories

This is our all time favorite hangout place after office hours. Whether it's the middle of the week or beginning of a weekend. Very close to my office which makes it our first choice. Staffs are friendly and the food is good. We usually prefer to sit outside as that feels more spacious for a larger group. If you're new in the city of London, you should give it a try. ✌️🙂

This was our first London food experience! It was close to our hotel and one of the first we found showing the Formula 1 race. The food was good. The service was okay. The atmosphere is nice. It is our first time in London so we had to figure things out. Order at the bar for both food and drinks. Pay at the bar when you order. They bring the food to you. They do have vegan options and some good beer!

Wonderful pub with a great beer garden! Have to say special thanks to our host Nazir who was friendly and kind to us both :) the food also looked fantastic, if you want a chilled out vibe close to the tower then come here :) I like that you could hear the tube running overhead as well, thanks guys for such a great afternoon - come to this pub!!

Nestled in the heart of London, The Minories is a true sports bar enthusiast's paradise. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that they take their love for sports seriously, as the plethora of high-definition TVs surrounded us from every angle, ensuring no one in the establishment would miss a single moment of their favorite game. One of the highlights of our visit was the beer garden, which proved to be a fantastic spot for our large party of seven. The Minories' efficient staff seamlessly accommodated us, providing a comfortable and lively atmosphere to enjoy a good time with friends. Despite not being a vegan-specific restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the vegan mac and cheese. It had a creamy texture and a delightful blend of flavors that even non-vegans could appreciate. The Minories deserves praise for catering to different dietary preferences and delivering a dish that would make any plant-based eater content. For the traditionalists in our group, the regular mac and cheese did not disappoint either. The dish was the epitome of gooey goodness and packed with an indulgent cheesiness that delighted our taste buds. A comforting and classic choice that complements the sports bar ambiance perfectly. Of course, a sports bar wouldn't be complete without a stellar rendition of fish and chips. The Minories' take on this quintessential British dish left a lasting impression on me. The portion size surpassed my expectations, and the fish was cooked to perfection, enveloped in a crispy golden batter that was both satisfying and delicious. As if we hadn't already indulged enough, we couldn't resist trying the nachos, and we were glad we did. The nachos were piled high with generous helpings of toppings, and each bite offered a harmonious medley of flavors. It was the perfect finger food to accompany the excitement of the sports events playing on the screens. To sum up, The Minories is a fantastic spot for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The abundance of TVs guarantees an unforgettable sports viewing experience, and the welcoming beer garden easily accommodates large parties. The menu surprises with its vegan options, and the regular comfort foods, like mac and cheese and fish and chips, are nothing short of delightful. If you find yourself in London and craving a lively sports bar with great food, The Minories should be at the top of your list.

I liked the ambiance, the under ground bar was a nice experience. The food tasted pretty good it didn't take to long to get after ordering. The one thing I didn't like was for a bar they had no non carbonated drinks. Just note if your eating inside you order at the bar. They have a confession booth which was cool to find. They have area to eat outside and little corner spots to eat and drink as well inside.
